I was struggling with my search finding a good hairdresser, someone who is truly professional, my hair is very different to deal with, very fine and very thin, I am so happy I did my haircut here today, David is truly talented, very patient and listening carefully to what you are looking for, he’s very kind and cooperative, he took all the needed time to fulfill my request, he also styled my hair!!! From the moment he started I realize that this gentleman knows what he’s doing. I even asked him to take some pictures of my new look. I highly recommend him and this Hairsalon, for sure I’ll go back there for anything related to my hair cut , style or highlights.

I went into here for an easy, no fuss haircut. The ladies there are so funny and personable! As someone who’s had haircuts ranging from $25-$60, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of my cut. When they rung me up, I could not believe that the haircut would only cost me $15. Definitely coming back for future haircuts and trims!

This was my first time at this salon. I was just getting a haircut since it had been awhile. I also wanted really long layered bangs so my hair could have some shape. Unfortunately the hair stylist cut them very very blunt without layers so from the front my hair is just two completely different lengths. It looked ok when I left the salon because of the curls but once I straightened it, it looked really bad

As a curly girl, I have always struggled with finding the right people to cut my hair. After more than a year since my last haircut, I reluctantly came to The Galleria Hair Salon. Honestly, I am soooo glad I did! Jose is a master behind the scissors. I had never gotten a haircut like this. He cut each curl individually, asked about what I wanted, and delivered on everything to a T. He also straightened my hair. Everything took about an hour and a half, and he never rushed through any part of my look. The care, precision, and intention was amazing! Would highly recommend!

I came to this salon the 1st time Feb 3rd for a balayage and deep conditioning. The stylist convinced me to get a cut prior to coloring, I figure stylist knows best so I agree. 1st issue- the cut. When straightened, I have short choppy layers that make it appear as if I have poorly done extensions. Second, I now have split ends due to the damage done to my hair right after the cut. Next time I go to a different salon, Ill be asking for the cut AFTER they color my hair. Second issue, Im not sure if it was the conditioning or the coloring but my hair now tangles when it never did previously. Third issue- their online prices are a bit deceiving. I paid a few hundred more than expected. Stylist was friendly and I enjoy the color although I do wish shed brought up my highlights a bit higher around my face. Can get the same quality at a visible changes for half the price.

Jose has a way with hair that is hard to beat. Whether you have a lot of hair, thinning hair, thick, long, short, it doesn’t matter. He figures out a way to make it the best!The facility is always clean with a comfortable waiting area. The staff is friendly and the location has a lot of parking. It’s a great location but the talent inside, also including Mia, is definitely the most valuable!

Fantastic service! Must make an appointment in advance, but dont let that stop you because if you arw booked for 6PM, they will be ready to serve you at 6PM sharp. Incredibly clean salon and this was the case even before the pandemic. Jose is the best barber Ive ever had, hes honestly and artist, plus a genuinely cool dude.

This place is great. Jose is an excellent stylist and does exactly what I ask him to do with his own input and experience. They are reasonably priced and their location is very accessible and right near my home which is a plus! They are taking sanitation measures very seriously and that means a lot. I always look forward to my appointment with Jose because I come away feeling like a new person!

I looked on yelp and saw the reviews for The Galleria Hair Salon and decided to book there. I was lucky enough to get Brittany as my stylist. She did a great job. Have a LOT of hair. A LOT. And it’s hard to cut properly. I have a gal in Minneapolis who does a good job, but it took me years to find her. So being on the road, I was taking a risk.And it is a risk I’m glad I took. She perfectly matched my color and she gave me a great cut. It was the first time anyone had done a dry cut on my hair, but it turned out really well.Thank you, Brittany!

Jose has been cutting my hair cut like 8 years now and I cant picture going anywhere else. Place is conveniently located, good parking (except at 12:30), and always very clean. Staff is great and Ive never had to wait long while having an appointment. Six stars

I decided to go grey and with the excellent help of Mia, it was fairly painless! She spent a long time blending my silver hair with baby hi-lites this past summer. I cannot tell you how many compliments I am receiving as I go grey. I would tell anyone that if you are thinking of transitioning to grey/silver/white, go to MIA!! The sad thing about it is that I dont go to the salon once a month any more for my color....I miss seeing them at The Galleria Hair Salon!

This was my first visit. Jose did a fantastic job, I absolutely love my new cut. Everyone is very personable and professional and made me feel welcome. While cutting my hair Jose shared some great tips, and Mia also offered some advice about hair color and highlights. I am so happy I found Galleria Hair and while I am sad about the closing of my old long time hair salon this will be my new home for cut, style and color. The prices are reasonable for this area and the stylists are top notch :)

Amazing. Really great & professional service. I arrived and the staff were welcoming and friendly and checked me in straight away.This is the first time I visited this salon. I needed new highlights, however didnt have any colour details with me. Mia did an outstanding job and found the perfect colour to match my previous colour. I left the salon with beautiful highlights and blow dry. My hair looks and feels so much healthier. Mia did an ace job and listened to everything I wanted with real care.Overall great service and staff. Mia is very professional and has tons of experience. I have already booked my next appointment.

I went to the Galleria on my intuition, after being overwhelmed with Google searches and reviews in my search for a new salon. There are so many good salons in Houston! So I went with my gut and picked this place.The salon is in a good location, with lots of parking, and the shop itself is clean and organized. All staff were friendly and accommodating, check in/check out efficient.My appointment with Scarlett was great ~ from shampoo to cut to blow dry and styling ~ she was fun and creative. She gave me the cut I wanted, checking in with me when she thought I needed a little more taken off the back here and some extra texturizing there. She displayed that rare talent of listening to what I wanted, while giving me what I needed!She gave me a 20% discount for being a 1st time customer which was a nice surprise :) My only regret is that I didnt do before and after pics, bc she took off quite a bit of length of my long and tangled fine hair, giving me an actual STYLE.Im so happy and grateful I found a stylist I *click* with, WELL worth the 40 minute drive through Houston traffic.

These people are friendly with some people & ignore some people including the owner. I did not like the way they treated me. And the work they do is just normal like any other salon, nothing special. I would rather spend less in a different place with a friendly & welcoming atmosphere.

Vivi is the best when it comes to color your hair. I always come here to get my hair done and she always makes me happy with the results. She takes good care of my hair and gives me the best advice for my needs.

Have been getting fab cuts from Lonnie for about a year and more recently color. Always has great ideas for both short and long, conservative and more adventurous. Have followed him up to SF in his new home at Rubio & Raven. The salon is a great space as well in a location with very easy parking.

My hair person moved away and I had a consult at another salon. I decided to check out this place and felt a way nicer vibe here. Its not snooty. Plus now, Im a week out since my First Color Ever and first cut there – and I can say that Jose and Mia really listened to me and gave me what I wanted. They gave great hair advice too.

I am really picky with my hair dresser and very meticulous about the way my hair looks like. I moved to Houston nearly 3 years ago. During these 3 years I tried 6 different hair dressers until I visited the galleria hair salon 3 weeks ago. Jose knows what he is doing. He is nice and charm. He asked about me , what I expect and what hair style I am more into. He also asked about my career. After he listened carefully to me, he showed me different styles and we talked about how I want my hair to be done and which style will best suits me. After he finished his work, the result was exactly what I wanted. He also taught me how to use hair iron and style my hair effectively. After I stepped out of the salon I knew that I finally found my hair dresser. The price was reasonable for the quality of service and hair products he uses ($30 for mens haircut). Since then I am getting compliment on my hair style from family, coworkers and some of my clients. I highly recommend him to whoever want to have a perfectly done hair.

Over 5 years through various hair styles and beards Jose has always provided top notch service. Very tight cuts which fade perfect with a beard. Highly recommend the cut and shave service. Im fairly new to Houston and Im VERY picky about my hair so Im always afraid at a first time hair appointment, I decided to take a chance on The Galleria Hair Salon because of the number of positive reviews they had . . . Those who gave a positive review were spot on. Here we go, from start to finish . . . I was as nervous as nervous could be when I went in. Anne Marie came in, she was very personable which helps the customer to relax a little. I was there for a cut and color so she looked at my roots, asked if they were hard to cover and I confirmed. She said ok and shed be back in a minute . . . No color match or anything . . . I was scared. She came back and started applying color . . . All I could think was that she hadnt matched the color and what had I just done? The color came out PERFECT!! PERFECT, I TELL YA. Now, were at the cut . . . I showed her a picture of the cut that I wanted and SHE NAILED IT!!!! Anne Marie is a gem!!! As long as Im in Houston, I wont go to anyone else.

I recently moved back to Houston, and my hair lady was no longer cutting hair so I had to find a new person. I was trying to find a place that does a great job without paying 40+tip for a men’s haircut. Jose cut my hair and did a great job, and he was easy to talk to as well. I will be going back here for my haircuts for the foreseen future.

I went there based on the high rating on Google and I was so disappointed.If you want simple, traditional, typical, old fashion that might be the place but I you want a little more edgy forget it. The stylist I had did not know what to do with short fine hair, had no idea about layers... to summarize she charged me for a men cut... because without my insisting I would get out with a boring short haircut. I still sort of did and really wanted to cry :(The 1 star is at least for everyone who was actually very nice.

A chill salon with incredible talent. Incredibly creative atmosphere, the stylists are fabulous! They seem to be updating the salon & it looks really fresh, open & airy. Jose gives a fabulous haircut and is a joy of a person!

Great experience with my hair cut and color, and I got a pixie with purple, pink, and blue highlights so they definitely do edge. Just ask for Vivi, shes amazing.

Came in for root touch up, it ended up becoming color lightening. I sat for a really long time unattended so that my hairstylist could shampoo, cut and dry another employees hair while on shift. I had to actually get up and go grab my hairstylist. My hair color faded nearly immediately, and my hair didn’t even look good after hours of working on it. I told her I even had somewhere to be and needed to finish soon, she left me waiting waaaaay past the time I needed to leave, simply because she was busy working with an employee.

I am happy with the services provided. However, my appointment was 30 minutes later than expected but again happy with trim hair cut service. Which I paid 75.00 for the trim. Balayage service turned out great but I wasnt expecting to pay 250.00 for the service when I was told it would be closer to 120. Such expensive services is what I was not expecting I guess, but you get what you pay for this place met every expectation. Total for 2 hair cuts and a Balayage treatment was $350.00. I will not travel out this far next time. Sorry, but thank you.

It was very choppy and uneven. Had to find another hair salon and the hair stylist laughed at how horrible my haircut was.

I havent had a mens professional haircut in over 14 years. Im very picky when it comes to choosing someone to cut it. Ive used only 5 different people in the past 14 years when trimming it. When the new company i work for asked to get it cut within 24 hrs i called around houston looking for a barber/stylist with over 5 years experience. Thats when i came to find Jose with 15 years in the business he made sure to let me know he would do an amazing job. Cant thank him enough. Will be using jose regularly from now on.
