I moved to Houston just over a year ago and I spent the first few months here trying out different places to get a haircut. Thankfully, Roosters was one of the first places I tried, and I just kept coming back. All of the stylists I got a haircut with always left me happy with my look. That being said, the stylist i consider my go-to is Trevor, he’s always great conversation, and most importantly every single time he gets my haircut just the way I imagine it I want it, but and still exceeds those expectations. 100% recommend him, just know that he is usually one of the first people to get booked up, so make an appointment days in advance or early morning the day of, at the latest.

Trevor did an amazing job! Very fast and efficient yet gentle on my head, no razor burn and the lines are clean. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good edge up! 🧡

I received a fantastic mens haircut at Roosters. It is easy to book and modify appointments via their online reservation system. The service was great and the haircut was one of the best Ive found in Houston. The store is very nice, safe and clean and all the staff are incredibly friendly. You should definitely give them a try.

I started getting my haircut with Trevor a few months ago now and havnt left! I usually hop around to different hairstylists because they seem to never cut consistently anyways, but with Trevor he always leaves it on point! On top of that, the place is friendly and offers refreshments, play good music, wash your hair, razor your lines, and use good clippers. I have yet to have any rashes, cuts, or burns.

I want to give a huge compliment to the Roosters Haircut in Pearland TX. I have been using them for several years now and they are unfailingly polite and professional. I went back a couple of days ago and they have navigated the pandemic precautions in an excellent manner. All staff were wearing face masks and using social distancing. After we were greeted, and offered water or a soda, we were directed to a hand washing station to ensure that everyone was as safe as they could be. My son and I were then taken expeditiously and received high quality haircuts. I will continue to go back to them and I feel safe doing so.

I really enjoy coming here when Im in Houston. The place is really nice. Very much so like a modern barber shop which I love. They give you a steamed towel on your face and hot shaving cream shave on neck for that super clean look. Ask for Michael. He does a great job!

The price is more than what I normally pay but it’s definitely worth it. The staff offers beer and coffee while you wait and are overall very welcoming. I always make sure to schedule my appointment with Damarcus. He does asks all the right questions, makes sure to inform you what he’s doing and does an amazing job that is immediately noticeable. The green tea shampooing is a huge plus too. I believe they take walk ins but I highly recommend making an appointment.

As soon as I walked in, the salon welcomed me with a nice atmosphere and a smiling receptionist asking if I wanted a complementary beer or soda. The wait was quick!My hair dresser, Gloria, was absolutely fabulous to work with. She gave me feedback on what I was thinking for my haircut and walked me through her process. I felt very comfortable around her as she was easy to talk to and was obviously very skilled at consulting and giving hair cuts.The result was great. I gave Gloria a rough description of what I wanted, and she turned it into a masterpiece. I really appreciate her eye for hair, and would 100% recommend this place and stylist to any man out there looking for something new!

Went in for just a trim a while back. The service was extraordinary, they even offered me a soda, but given that I was just there for a simple touch-up, I didnt think it was worth it as they charged me like $33. Never in my life have I paid that much for a haircut, and the lady didnt even cut that much.

Gloria did a fantastic job. She always does. Very courteous friendly and fun to talk to. She also referred a great Italian restaurant to me last time I came in.

Rinnesha is new to the place, but she hooked me up! I usually go to traditional barbers that do not know about fades and edge ups, so I was cautious coming here. After the warm welcome and complimentary beer, Rinnesha asked me what I was looking for. After explaining and giving her free reign, she completely helped me get a look I’ve never felt better about! She took her time and was extremely personable in her conversation. I strongly recommend this location and the barber. It is worth the price.

Molly is the best beard stylist Ive found. This place is top notch in general, but Molly is double plus good. She listened to my instructions and all the details of my beard growth patterns, patiently, and actually accounted for these things. Very talented and great attention to detail. The only beard cutter I would recommend.

I’ve been coming here for about 4 years and I really enjoy the atmosphere at this barbershop. Damarcus is my stylist and he always does an excellent job. He is always very personable, professional and does great work. He is always timely which is something I like because I’m usually on a tight schedule. I highly recommend him! He makes coming to the barbershop an experience. The only complaint I have is he books up so fast because he is so good lol.The shop is always nice and clean. I can come in get a complimentary soft drink, water or beer and sit back and relax.

Been coming to roosters for a year and a half, very clean locations, and great/ helpful staff. The online book appointment makes it easy but staff will be glad to help, with a simple phone call. Tried lots of barbers in area in this is the best all around. Worth the price and the drive, Nelis keep me looking sharp and the service/ staff keeps me coming back.

Scheduled an appointment for 11:00 AM with Myron. Arrived on time and was greeted with a warm welcome. Myron did a fantastic job on my hair cut. My hair is curly and hard to manage and most barbers dont cut it very well. However, I can honestly say that this was the best hair cut I have ever had. I will definitely go back again.

Shantay is AWESOME. I love being able to book online and her haircuts are the best. The shampoo/lather is great too. Obviously a bit pricier, but its worth every penny.

If you come here definitely ask for Myron to cut your hair. To be perfectly honest, I was a little nervous having a black guy cut my hair because Im white, but Myron has now given me two of the best haircuts Ive ever had. Plus hes a cool dude and very friendly. Roosters is a bit on the pricy side (mine was $28+tip), but the quality of the haircut youll get is top notch. Would recommend.

I walked in on saturday and did not have an appointment and was seated and helped immediately. i havent been to a proper barber in a long time due to some scalp issues and embarrassment. not only did Ronnesha and the owner help me with my scalp. they made me feel so comfortable that this will be the only barber i go to from now on. Ronnesha is so kind and made me feel welcomed she was also skilled with the tools and made me feel like a million bucks for my christmas party.definitely recommend if you want a beer as well!

The first time I went into Rooster’s I was impressed with my overall results, although the cut was a little pricey. I went in a second time, and requested the exact same cut but was extremely disappointed in the results, especially given the $32 price tag (plus tip). The neck line-up was done extremely poorly (I could’ve paid anyone on the side of the street to get better results) and now two weeks later I have an extremely visible ~2 inch area on my neck where the hair was straight razored much too far above the normal hairline and is now slowly growing back in although it’s rather obvious given the differences in hair length. I was new to the area and looking for a quality cut for the price, but am disappointed enough with my second experience that I will be looking elsewhere now.

I scheduled an appointment a week in advance. The day before my appointment they contacted me via email to say they had to cancel and asked if I would like to reschedule for the next evening. I said ok that’s fine can I do my same time (5:30). They said no 5:30 is booked can you do 4:30? I have work at this time so I responded no what else is available that evening and never heard back from them. I figured I’d give them another chance and scheduled an appointment on my own during my lunch break for 12:30. I arrived at 12:20 but was not seated until 12:40 which made me late getting back to work.

Nice barber shop. Clean shop, friendly staff. A tad pricey for my tastes, but entirely reasonable.
