Within 4 days the roots of my hair were releasing from my scalp by the hundreds. This was a sign that the braids were WAY too tight. Also about a week ago which was about 3 weeks of having them in, a braid completely fell out of my scalp, the extension did NoT slide off of my natural hair, the roots released from my scalp completely. Leaving a bald spot. As I now take the braids out, huge clumps of hair with the roots STILL IN TACT are released. I am sad, My hair is natural and it’s usually thick and long. Not happy at all about this damage. I know how to braid my own hair and therefore I’m familiar with what normal shedding looks like. Not going back

Great place to get your hair done! I recommend her to everyone!!. She has only done my hair 3 times but every time she does it, She takes her time, does it right, and always gives advice on how to keep maintenance of the hairstyle. Hannah is friendly, respectful, honest person. I like that she is upfront about her prices. Im glad that I was able to find her.

Very Sweet Woman. Prices are misleading. I wanted a simple crotchet, the braids were not done in a professional manner, they were falling out the next day.. She offered to fix them, but i didnt feel confident that they would be fixed correctly. I took the hair down only so see that she had knotted my real hair and the added hair together at the end of the braids underneath the crotchet... I called to ask for part of the refund, since she did take time to braid it... She said she does not refund... I spent $206.00...

Hannah is awesome! Went in to get cornrows done and she was such a delightful person. I left happy and ended my search for a hairstylist in College Station/Bryan area.

URGENT PLEASE READ, DONT VISIT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!!!!!!!!!I visited the salon and was initially greeted respect. I will say this post is not about defaming an individuals character, but I would like to share facts and facts only.Ms. Hannah is a great person but does things her way. I specified to her the hairstyle that I wanted (2 strand twist) and she confirmed that she could do it. After the first attempt was a fail, I offered and did pay for a second visit two days later because I as an individual understand how businesses work. i also carry dignity and respect as a young man, for women in general. I could have very well asked her to fix the hair do free of charge but because I am not that type of individual, I paid a second time for the hair style she was supposed to do the first visit.Second hairstyle, a complete fail. She rushed to complete my hair, sprayed it, tied it down and placed me under the heater and so I couldnt tell if the hair was correct until the next day. The next morning, I took the scarf off and the supposed to be twist were standing straight up on top of my head (please review photos below). I begin to examine my hair and noticed that they werent in fact twist, but braided plats. I immediately messaged Ms. Hannah to let her know that she had, for the second time, done my hair incorrectly. She was very angry and ask that i come in the following week and so I did.Third visit, I went in and she started to yell at me for no reason and I expressed to her that the hairstyle was incorrect. According to her policy, a customer has 48 hours to come in to have the hair fixed free of charge. So we agreed for her to do a different style since she apparently couldnt do the style that I was asking her to do. I dont understand why she would confirm that she could do the hair style when she was aware that she couldnt.She then started coming up with excuses about my hair being too short, even after I sharing photos with her of me wearing the hairstyle months prior to visiting her shop. It wasnt a matter of my hair being short, just her not being able to fulfill the style I wanted. So we went on and agreed for her to do corn rows since she couldnt do the twist that I wanted. At the completion of the corn rows, she charged me an additional $40 bucks for that visit when it was her mistake of not being honest with me in the beginning and for not honoring her policy which states, a customer has 48 hours to notify the establishment of any problems with their hair, to be fixed. I absolutely wasted money at her shop and highly recommend that you do NOT visit. Also, I showed a picture to her the style of corn rows that I wanted and she agreed that she could do it, upon completion, she makes the comment, Oh I wasnt able to do the style of corn rows you wanted, I just braided straight to the back. So in all, I still didnt receive the hairstyle that I wanted and ended up paying $170 plus dollars in less than a week for something that cost me $45 for a one time visit at other places.PHOTOS ExplanationFirst 2 photos (Maroon shirt/mirror pics) is what I wanted.The next set of photos is (photos of the work of Hannahs Hair Braiding), what Ms. Hannah did!!!!!! I work and live out of Austin Tx but come home to visit family quite often. When I do Hannah is the only one to touch my head! She does an amazing job and is very hospitable.Thank you Hannah!

Im a guy so I cant attest for the others but my service was excellent and I like the job done on my retwists. Told her Id come bacc every 2 weeks or so. Another satisfied customer.

DONT GO HERE. I had my hair braided for 16 days and the braids started falling out. I had to go 3 days after I got my hair braided to get the tightened and more added because they were already unraveling. I also was refused a refund for my crap hair job. Save your money dont go here. This lady didnt care about how she did my hair at all

Sew-In Lovers Beware!Hannah has a good sense of humor, but she did a poor job on my sew in. I requested a full sew in, with an invisible lace closure install. She explained why the invisible lace closure wouldnt look good. I disagreed, because I knew the closure was of good quality (Milky Way 100% human hair). However, I decided to trust her judgement and allowed her to not use the closure...big mistake.Hannah decided to glue many tracks at the top of my head. The worst part is the fact that the tracks were showing. She did NOT try to conceal them at all..they were visible for the world to see! I sent the photo to my friend and she was furious! My friend said I needed a FULL refund.I asked Hannah for a PARTIAL refund, but she refused. She insisted that I come in and let her fix the mess she created. Honestly, I trusted her judgement once and thought I would get slayed, but instead I was betrayed, so it would NOT be wise for me to trust her with my hair again.On the bright side, she braided my hair (underneath the tracks) securely and probably should stick to braiding hair and only attempt a sew in after MUCH practice on a mannequin! It takes time to master the art of a sew in...perfect practice makes perfect! $150 gone down the drain! Lesson learned. #betrayedNOTslayed

I will never go to this place again! Was not satisfied with the way she did my box braids. They was not neat at all and they all was different sizes. My hair was looking bad after a week of me getting it done. Save your money and find someone else!!
