Jamie did my hair and make-up for headshots today and she was lovely and did a great job. I’ve had my hair and/or make-up done here a few times and have always been satisfied. They also carry Unite products which are fabulous.

I am a loyal customer of Blomontrose.I have been going there almost every week for Blowout.But after today’s bad experience with Jesse Houston,i would never even think of going there.I had an appointment for 3:30 and reached there at 3:40 because of the traffic jam on road as a puppy came in front of my car.I tried to explain it to Jesse but instead of understanding he said you should have called us.For God sake,anyone tell me who would remember to call when you are so terrified.What i was always told is that an appointment remains in place even after10 minutes delay in the scheduled time.It’s very common,even sometimes i also get my services started 10 minutes after scheduled time.But Jesse said now it’s different.If it’s different then they should have told me when i made a reservation or would have called exactly at 3:30.But nothing like this happened.So , i would say Blo Montrose doesn’t know how to behave with their loyal customers even during emergencies.Shame on you.

Jesse is the best! I’ve seen him a few times and I will continue to come back! Thank you so much for always helping me tame my hair! 😊

This is a wonderful place to go for hair styling and make up services. The end result was beautiful. I would highly recommend.

I go to this location regularly and have always been pleased.I haven’t been getting many services during the pandemic but decided to treat myself today. The first thing I saw on entering the shop was a client seating within easy sight of the front desk not wearing a mask. I almost walked out then. I asked about the mask policy and the receptionist asked the client to put her mask on. Then, although there were plenty of available seats, a stylist sat her client right next to me. I asked her to socially distance and she moved to another chair. Several stylists were chatting at the reception area, one with her mask pulled down. She saw me look at her and pulled it up. It felt like the adults had left the kids home alone. Maybe I’ll come back after we get a vaccine haha. Not a relaxing experience.

This was my first experience at a blow dry bar and it was amazing. At first I was skeptical because I have Type 4 natural hair, but the salon was able to assist me in picking a stylist that is experienced with natural hair. Jessica L. did an amazing job with my hair, it has a lot of body and the shine is wonderful. I will definitely be back!

I visit blo at least once a week. I can always count on a gorgeous blowout, that lasts for days. The salon professionals are terrific and all deliver a very consistent result. I especially enjoy Jessica and Katherine !!Also, very clean with added COVID-19 measures in place. I feel very safe.

Appointment times have no value here. The last three appointments I have made here all were either ultimately canceled (because I couldnt wait any longer) or I waited over 30 minutes after the scheduled time for a stylist. It is very frustrating! They have ruined my hair plans too many times.

I’ve been coming to blo for a little over a year now and walk out happy every time. Each stylist nails my request without a question. Great customer service. I love that I can get my makeup done here as well. I love that they run different sales and have different styles that are included in your blowout through out the year. Definitely a permanent customer!

My favorite blow dry bar and home! I have been coming here for over and year and am always thrilled when I leave. Always great stylists, customer service and great ambiance! My hair always looks fabulous and the stylists are all on point. I was just here yesterday(the salon is always immaculate) and they have taken all the proper Covid precautions so everyone is good to go! A great blowout is an affordable indulgence that is so worth it and I like supporting a local owned and operated business especially during this time! I was surprised at any negative reviews because they always aim to please, just speak up and give your stylist some direction!

The stylist was friendly, they got me in at a time that worked out great, and the location is super convenient. However things just kind of fell apart from there. I have bangs and this seemed to be a no-go zone for the stylist. She pretty much ignored drying them and didnt brush them out. I had to redo them when I got home so they wouldnt fly up and resemble Cameron Diaz in All About Mary. I asked for a little volume with some defined curl, she suggested leaving a curl in that could be brushed out before I attended my event in 1.5 hours and that sounded great. But ended up leaving (over an hour later) with what would be a kinky wave in the back of my head as if I had a pony tail all day and just took it out. One hour into the event I was attending, hair was flat (except for said kinky wave). They asked for feedback via text and email, I gave it. And they responded with next time be more clear when asking for a style. Ive been to other blow dry bars in the area and have been happy with the results, this was my first time here, with that response there wont be a next time.

This is a great blow bar! I highly recommend it - usually people have no idea what to do with my hair because it’s super curly, but the stylists here are very skilled and also super efficient, which I really appreciate. Lisette is amazing! Jade at the front desk is also super nice and helpful!

I waited 15 minutes after my appointment start time for someone to wash. Then after 20 minutes of my actual blow dry another stylist jumped in cause her next appointment was there. A total of 30 minutes was spent on my blow-dry. I have curly hair and felt the whole appointment rushed. I am not impressed with the end result . I understand its holiday season but I had to go home and fix. I usually go to dry bar and this was my first time at blo. Not sure I will come back.

This was my first blo dry. Everyone was so nice. They offered champagne as soon as I walked in and took me back quickly. Shae did a great job and I will certainly be back. Katie the owner checked me out and discussed the membership, but wasnt pushy which really impressed me. I will definitely return! Thanks ladies!

Loved my blowout and my makeup! Both stayed beautiful all afternoon and night, and lasted through a dance-filled wedding reception! Great relaxing atmosphere! Can’t wait to return!

My stylist did an absolutely wonderful job! I was the only client in there as you can imagine there arent many wanting to get their hair styled on a Sunday. I however had a photoshoot for my blog and needed to look fabulous! I entered with a hot mess and left with beautiful locks! Everyone was super friendly and attentive. Ill definitely be going back!

I came here on a birthday gift card my sister had gotten me and the stylist Lezette did an amazing job! My hair came out exactly the way I had told her too and she listened to my concerns (my hair doesnt hold volume) and she made magic work! I would highly recommend this place! The only thing is, the place is a little pricey -- $45 for a shampoo and style. $10 extra if you want a braid. So if youve got the $$$, then definitely try this place out!

I was working on a styled photo shoot for my job and the girls at Blo styled my two models beautifully! They made my vision come to life with each girl! I asked for one glam look and one boho look, and both of their looks turned out to be everything I hoped for and more ! I have also gotten my hair blown out for work photos and also had my hair braided and I loved how beautiful they made me look and feel! I booked Blo Bar for my wedding partys hair and makeup for my wedding this past weekend. We didnt get the salon to ourselves as promised, however, the stylists did an exceptional job with our hair and makeup! I (bride) had Laura for my makeup and she was fantastic! My other girls raved about Kourtneys hair styling! They did a wonderful job! I highly recommend these ladies to make you look fab for your wedding or next big event!

Prompt quality service and a very friendly staff. Their plays on words are actually really funny and the fact that they are so relentless with it makes me laugh even harder. The place was clean and the products they used were nice! Appointment was right on time, and they are open before normal work hours. I had the round brush blowout - may go for something more voluminous next time.

Loved loved loved my experience here!! The front desk was super friendly and easy to work with. I set a same day appointment and later had to postpone it 30 min only to call again to say I was running another 15 min behind and they were just as chipper and friendly as can be! Salon is beautiful and although they did just paint the smell wasnt overwhelming I was a little worried because Im sensitive to smells. My hair stylist was Christy and she did such a fabulous job!! I was going to a 1920s themed holiday party and I showed her a picture with some big voluminous vintage curls next to my super fine flat hair and she didnt bat an eyelash and got right to work! Shampoo was enjoyable--I opted for the extra 10 min massage. I have to say I wish my usual hairdresser was this gentle--Im always fighting back tears when she washes my hair! As soon as I sat at my station I was offered a drink and the front desk staff again delivered bring me room temperature water as I am always cold! Christy worked fast and efficiently and after she was through she was even prepared to tweek things to my liking as I wasnt sure if I might want part of my hair up or not. But I was so thrilled with how it looked right off the bat--no tweeking necessary!! The style lasted too! Was gorgeous all night and the next day my head is still full of beautiful bouncy curls! Thank you guys so much for making me feel like a princess! VIP club here I come!
