Though my mom has moved to another facility in Taiwan, I felt compelled to post a review. Treemont was hugely accommodating toward her and my family during the years that she lived here. We were able to move her grand piano into one of their large spaces where she could practice and even hold a recital once a year. Though my mom can be intensely challenging and there were plenty of obstacles, I believe Treemont always did the best they could to work things out with us as a family to ensure a harmony between my mom and the larger Treemont community. Thank you to Rodney and all of the staff that worked with us over the years, we will not forget all that youve done for us!

My dad lived here for several years; first in independent living with additional support from the on site agency. I selected Treemont for him since he would be able to age in place and avoid the trauma of moving to completely new surroundings.The staff helped move him to assisted living once the time came, and took great care to help him adjust to his new surroundings.When the time came for hospice they helped arrange it and provided all of us with loving and supportive care. It was just the place for my dad.

My Dad lives here it seems y be pretty good for him. They have a nice cafeteria inside and many events for residents.

Our mom has been in the same home for 32 years, so I expected it to take a while for her to fully acclimate to her new apartment and all of the new people. However, she is already telling us how much she likes it and wouldnt want to go back to Nacogdoches even if we were giving her that option. Im extremely grateful to have found a place that fits her needs -- some extra support but not assisted living. Rodney, Lupe, Beverly, and everyone we have met have been so friendly and helpful -- I feel good about the transition weve made.

Im currently waiting on an efficiency apartment for my mother and wanted to visit Treemont. Lupe was so great she gave me a tour and answered all my questions. The customer service is excellent, cant wait until my mom moves in.

This place is garbage. Students struggle to find simple washcloths for body care, and staff is unnecessarily mean to students. Did a round of clinicals here for nursing school and CNA license.

I have found all the staff to be highly cooperative. From Kelly, Cynthia,Anny, Stacy, Don, Sherrie, Diane and others whose names I cant remember (senior moment!) In any case, all have been responsive to our needs and requests. I know that sometimes it is difficult to provide the care to perfection, but you all come closest of any place we are familiar with through the years. Thanks to all for all your efforts, especially in this covid 19 time.

Our family member was determined to stay in their own home, but health, safety and costs forced the move. We could not have found a better solution under very difficult circumstances. My wifes sister and brother -in-law started out as retirement residents at Treemont over 3 years. ago. During the entire time, the staff exhibited an attitude that was supportive and caring. They continued that warm and comforting atmosphere later when they were later placed in skilled nursing and assisted living. Nothing wavered on the care and assurances as their time slipped away. We were very thankful to the staff from the Director to EVERYONE there. The communication was ongoing at every stage, and helped us understand throughout the times when they were going through the changes. This was very helpful to us, and helped us to understand what was going on with the both of them as they faced their final journey. The Treemont was always clean, the food and service was better than we expected. There are not enough words to say Thank You to the folks at Treemont.

We for a few years had had in home care for my dad. His GP had reached out to me suggesting we might need to look at moving him into Treemont. Before we could make a decision he had had a stroke and they released him into skilled nursing at Treemont, where we had thought was his permanent residence. The physical therapy staff at Treemont was able to work with dad and get him into assisted living at Treemont, which is where he is now. He loves the staff, the food, the care, and is starting to get involved in social activities. I highly recommend Treemont. As I live out of state, they give me a piece of mind. Thank you to their staff.

My father has been at the Tremont Health Care Center for 1 1/2 years. My sister and I are very pleased with the care he has received at Tremont. Dropped by for a couple visits and must say that I found this place to be a wonderful community for retirees! The people are friendly and the facilities are pretty much hotel-like. The rooms are carpeted and very clean. Some residents even leave their doors open so neighbors can drop by and visit.When you enter the place, a spacious lobby with a fireplace, a baby grand piano, tables and chairs greet you. There is a help desk there which is manned by staffers.For meals, they have a restaurant that serves buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Residents have assigned seats while their guests have to sit at another table. Guests can join the buffet but have to pay.Another great thing about the place is that they schedule activities for residents like dances, arts and crafts, concerts, shows, talks, group fitness sessions etc. They have a little gym, a salon, a library, a movie room, a gift shop, an arts and crafts hall, a dance pavilion and a room for talks.If I were a retiree, Id seriously consider this place as a possible home. Loved it!

My father recently transferred from hospital to Treemont and this is my first ever review for any kind of nursing centers. If I will be allowed to give any stars as I wanted, I will give Treemont millions stars. From the first day I stepped into Treemont, everyone were extremely nice and polite, the nurses are very professional and they take good care of everyone and the staffs always smile, foods are excellent for my father. I recommend this place from the bottom of my heart to everyone that I know and I hope Treemont will continue the same way forever to help those needed. Thank you.

My wife and I moved to Treemont in February 2018. We have a beautifulapartment and are quite comfortable. The meals are delightful and I enjoy the salads and the deserts. I have made new friends and have enjoyed playing my harmonica for them. I have a small art studio and have done several portraits of my new friends. I am gong to have a show of my art in October. The staff and crew here are friendly and helpful.Our apartment is cleaned by the housekeeper once a week. My wife and i are not able to live by ourselves now and we love the comfort and safety we have here. The lifestyle we have at Treemont is well worth the rent we are paying. I have covered parking for our car which is close by.I recommend Treemont we toured several other places and this is ourbest choice. We are making this our permanent address. My sister Charmaine is a resident of Treemont and has lived there for several years. My family and I have been more than pleased with the very excellent care she is receiving.The front desk staff , without exception, is professional, friendly and always appropriately responsive to any request.Housekeeping, maintenance, and food service employees are top notch.I know that my sister is in a safe environment which gives me great peace and comfort.Treemont is a wonderful place, and I might add, very affordable.

My brother moved to The Treemont several years ago and it has been wonderful. The senior Allegiance staff visit him once a week to organize his medicines, but also provide additional support when needed. He takes advantage of the social activities, exercise programs as well as the van to a local church. A complimentary driver takes him to his doctors appointments. I cannot say enough how living here has changed his life for the better. I highly recommend!

After visiting several Retirement Communities I decided on Treemont for my mother. She has been there for over a month. The staff are friendly and makes here feel good. She enjoys the food and the activities they have for the residence. She is very happy living there. It is great when I visit her to see her with a smile on her face. I moved my Aunt to Houston from the east coast. Nether of us know anything about retirement communities. I visited many in Houston and asked lots of questions. What convinced me to choose Treemont more than anything was the residence. I walked around and asked people who lived there if they were happy and most said yes! They encouraged me to bring my Aunt. The open spaces were full of people playing cards, games, puzzles or sitting and visiting. There of course are people who can not or will not be active no matter what but Treemont felt happy. The employees are very kind. Everyone knew my Aunt by name and room number within days. This is not a fancy place but it is comfortable and clean. My Aunts room in a good size and it was all recently updated when she moved in. I highly recommend it. I visit several times a week and still feel just the same when we walk around. I am very comfortable with her there.

My sister has lived at Treemont Retirement Community for almost 2 years, and she is extremely happy living independently in her apartment. She has met some fabulous people and they all look out for each other and even dine at the same table together. Monica, the activity director, plans wonderful activities, some at Treemont, like the quarterly paint parties, and most recently my sister, though not a grandma, modeled on a red carpet surrounded by flowers, on Glam-ma Day upstairs in the large activity center. Delicious food and beverages, even wine, was served to those who wanted it. Lots of photos were taken of this special event.Other times, they have traveled by bus, to the art museums and to Brenham to see our states flower, the bluebonnet. I simply cant say enough good things about Treemont. If you are looking for a place to retire, come visit Treemont. You will be happy you did!

We love Treemont! Im a voice teacher, and I take my students to Treemont to sing. We have such a good time. The last time we were there we had a sing-a-long, and everyone joined in. Often residents will talk to us after we finish singing. Its nice to hear memories they have about certain songs. This place is very warm and inviting.

I love this community. It is one of the best kept secrets in Houston! I have known about it for a while because I work in the industry and have been impressed every time I have visited. This year a friend of mine moved in and seems to be very pleased. The independent lifestyle offers her the opportunity to continue living her life as she always has. Now, however she is able to enjoy more of it. With meals, transportation, rehab that is available on site if she needs. My mother has lived at the Treemont Retirement Center for over two years and loves it! The staff treats her and all the residents with respect and caring. They offer fun activities and comfortable apartments, while letting the residents be as independent as possible. They take wonderful care of her and the facility and went above and beyond during Hurricane Harvey. I cannot praise them (or thank them) enough for taking such fabulous care of my mom.

I am a Senior Care professional who routinely visits various senior living communities in the greater Houston area. I am very familiar with the obvious physical features of a variety of retirement and care-provision properties. More importantly, I thoroughly understand and can evaluate the caring and inviting atmosphere of such communities. The Treemont Retirement Community excels on the most important aspect of those evaluation criteria-their heart. Yes, the people running this lovely community really care about their residents. The strongest indicator of such a caring attitude is the longevity of the staff. Many have worked there for decades. Treemont is a great retirement home for seniors! The facility was well organized, clean and the residents who live there looked happy when we were there to visit. Some of the residents came to talk to us, told us how wonderful the place was, how much they enjoyed the activities of the facility... . The staff were very friendly and helpful, answered our questions patiently. I think Treemont is a great choice for the seniors.

We knew Mom needed a more supportive environment and started visiting retirement communities. We were immediately impressed with the warmth of the Treemont staff and residents. Once Mom moved in, they helped her make a smooth transition during a challenging time of downsizing from her home. Mom has made new friends and is active and engaged. After moving my father into Treemont independent living several months ago, I think so highly of it that I just finished moving my mother-in-law in from a senior community. Both want to live as independently as possible, but neither can do it alone. You can pick and pay for only the additional services needed, when they are needed. Management and staff clearly place the needs of the residents as their top priority and they go out of their way to make this a great place to live. Food is plentiful and very good. Staff and residents are very friendly. I finally feel comfortable leaving town on business/vacation, knowing that my family members in caring hands.

My mother has lived in Treemonts independent living for two years. She has the perfect combination of privacy and sociability. Her apartment is cozy and well-appointed. She was able to bring her cat with her, which made it feel like home. She enjoys meals in the dining room and the company of her table mates. Social activities are just right for her. Before moving mom to Treemont, I worried each day about her being so isolated from people, eating alone, and having trouble managing her medications. In November 2018, I moved mom to Treemont retirement community. Her apartment is cute & cozy. All the staff from the front desk, to the dining room to maintenance, are friendly, compassionate, and helpful.I truly consider Treemont staff as extended family.

We recently visited Treemont Retirement Community in Houston. From the moment we walked in the front doors, we felt very comfortable and welcomed. We were greeted with genuine smiles. We took a look around the community and were pleased with everything that we saw. The apartments were spacious and nicely remodeled. The hallways had friendly and happy residents walking about. We wanted to try out the food as we knew this would be an important deciding factor on our decision. We were VERY pleasantly surprised with how delicious everything tasted! We did not leave there hungry for sure! We are so happy that we found Treemont and look forward to getting to know everyone there much better very soon!

I moved into Treemont in the early part of the Summer 2013. My experience has been a good one. When you walk through the halls of Treemont you will meet a lot of unique people, most of them with a story to tell if you are willing to listen. During this time I have made many friends. I have found the maintenance department and housekeeping department to be top notch. Maintenance problems are usually handled the same day, and often within an hour or so after turning the request in. The same thing is true for housekeeping. They go above and beyond to get your request handled and if they cannot handle it the same day you are notified. I have never met an employee who is not friendly, courteous, and willing to go that extra mile for you. I love working with people and have wanted to work at Treemont for quite a while. The middle of November my wish came true. I love working for Treemont and it makes me feel good to help people. Often times all it takes is a smile, hello how are you, or just taking the time to listen to the residents. It makes me feel good to have a resident tell me I am doing a good job. Our activity director and her assistant schedule us great entertainment and there are many, many things to do here if you care to get involved. It is a wonderful place to live and work and I feel anyone looking for a place for them self or a loved one would not go wrong.

The facility is wonderful! I am the owner of Dr. Ritas Pharmacy, an independent pharmacy that delivers prescriptions to the residents of the independent living residents for free. The facility is always clean the employees are always pleasant. We have managed the prescriptions for the same residents for over 3 years so they have become family to us and we care for their well-being. Treemont offers a variety of activities for the residents to be involved in. Aimee is so helpful to the residents and their families. She truely cares and will go out of her way to help in any way she can even.

Had to move my father to Treemont from his home due to illness. The people at Treemont were very helpful and made him feel right at home. The transition from living on his own to living in the Independent Living Community could not have gone better. The staff went out of their way to make sure he was as comfortable as possible. The events that I had the pleasure of attending while i was visiting were well organized and attended by many residents. As a younger resident of Treemont, I have found it the perfect place for me to live. I have felt like I have been living at a luxury hotel with all the amenities of excellent service, great food, and even maid service, but furnished with my own favorite furniture and possessions. I have been closer in distance to my children, yet not an interference in their lives. Last year, I took the opportunity to teach art in Vail, Colorado. When I moved back to Houston, there was no place that I would consider calling home but Treemont. It is the BEST choice that I have ever made!

I have had several family members live at Treemont over the years and now my parents live there. The staff is friendly, the food is good, and the residents seem comfortable and happy. Treemont has all the services available to make senior living a great experience.

My mom chose Treemont because it offered three meals a day, many activities, transportation, and a generous living space for the price. She has been there almost a month and has made new friends, is enjoying the music concerts and her assigned table mates in the dining hall, and seems very happy. She was able to bring her piano with her and Treemont let her put it in the common area closest to her apartment. The front desk and maintenance are amazingly responsive to her requests.

I have lived at Treemont 7 years in November. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. Maintenance is always available if there should be an issue. Security is the best ever. Housekeeping is fantastic. There are activities to keep anyone entertained.

I have been following Treemont for a number of years with an eye out for future family needs. What stands out to me are all the activities for the residents that run the gamut from participating in a local TV show to container gardening to chef tastings. Whether social or spiritual or educational there is always something going on and I am amazed at the creativity and effort that go into making this place a lively and engaging home.

Research and recommendations from a friend led me to place my Mother at Treemont. Their friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere, exceptional buffet meals, and numerous activities has kept Mother happy and occupied for the past eight years. She has made so many friends who are now her “family.” Last year I moved my mother-in-law to Treemont from another facility and now Mom has expanded our family presence. It is reassuring to see them both happy.

The front desk is always very helpful and they take care of the housekeeping and maintenance requests as soon as they can. Living there also means that you get three meals a day, unlike many other retirement facilities in the Houston area. I also like that they have a driver to take residents to doctors appointments if for some reason I cannot do it myself. The staff is amazingly nice. I have peace of mind for the choice we made.

I really enjoy starting Saturday with singing and rhythm instruments, camaraderie/participation, humor and recollections (and candy). The people who participate in the immediate area area appear to enjoy the morning and come back for more the next week. Ever had heard most of the songs before and they truly seem to enjoyMaking them ring out on Saturday morning. With a talent like Zllee on the accordion it is truly a celebration!

Placed my 91 year old dad there after we had to take him out of 2 different facilities for indifferent treatment. Hes been in Treemont 1 plus years now and enjoys being there. He receives excellent treatment and is well treated. We like having the on-site home health organization there as well.

The staff goes beyond the call of duty to protect their residents. More than once the staff has come to my parents apartment to assist when I needed quality professional assistance to help my parents more than once. The food is good to.

My mom moved into a Treemont apartment this spring and she loves it! She has made many new friends, and if she wants more she can just leave her door ajar--everyone stops by to say hello. She thinks the food is great and her table mates witty and interesting. She frequently attends a talk or performance from the event schedule, and has even joined the chorus. I should mention that she is nearly blind and confined to a wheelchair. We did not expect for her to be this active, but she is absolutely inspired by her peers and the amazing range of opportunities at Treemont.

Ive lived at Treemont going on 6 years now and just love it! I love going outside my door and still being in an air-conditioned building. Most people decorate their doors and its wonderful. And as soon as I step outside my apartment, there are other people around. I run into so many friendly and lively folks.Both residents and staff are like family to me. I love the feeling of being taken care of. People really care. My housekeeper, Sandra, is just great. Ive had physical problems lately and used housekeeping for laundry for a bit. It helped a great deal to be able to do that. If you have a package at the front desk, they can deliver it to your door in the evening if you cant get it yourself. Again, since I was having problems getting around, that was incredible that theyd do that. I had no idea!Maintenance is great! They come right away and do a great job. Don, the head guy, has been here for like 30 years, and he is still young! He must have been twenty when he started.The dining room is huge. Theres a cafeteria style line you can go through, or you can order at the table. The food is really good with many choices.I cant imagine living anywhere else. Thank you, Treemont! Five stars all the way.

Every thing was Fast, Easy and Friendly. My Mother really like the people there. My wife and I go eat dinner with her every Friday and play Bingo afterwards. This move has really helped my mother with making new friends and keeping her independent, While my wife and I feel better knowing shes safe and there are people around in case she has a problem.

One of the best events offered to we residents of Treemont are the Bus Trips. I cant begin to express the thrill of visiting the Bush Library in College Station. In February, we will tour NASA.

My sister found Treemont as a place for our Mom. Since I lived in Katy and worked close to Treemont, I become a resident in 2006. I enjoy 3 delicious meals a day, housekeeping, social activities, and many other things that they offer. I was so pleased in 2007 when they asked me to join the Treemont Staff. I enjoy promoting anything that I believe in. Treemont is a place where people can enjoy living, social activities, making new friends, going to church services,and having their family and friends to visit.

This place may be a good retirement home for independent and assisted living but as a skilled nursing facility it is downright scary. They have folks jammed 2 to a room and is more of a convalescent home than rehab facility. Its depressing and provides little hopefulness for those needing to get better.

Very impressed with our visit here. Very clean facility. Great, friendly staff. Great food. Would highly recommend this community!

We look for senior communities for my mom. He is pretty independent but got to the point where we did not want her to live alone in her big home that required lots of maintenance. She loves her new home.I like the 9 oclock check program as we know that even though mom is living in her own apartment at Treemont, someone checks on her twice a day. Im glad to visit her on weekends instead mowing her lawn!!!

This article is a true inspiration. Kathy is a member of one of our programs at Chapelwood UMC. This article is absolutely right about how sincere and polite she is. And her smile truly does warm the heart. What a joy to know shes found a new place to find new adventures and make friends.

I greatly appreciate Treemont welcoming both my mother and my special needs sister to their community. Unfortunately, shortly before moving in my mother had a stroke and could not live independently. Fortunately, she could transition to the attached Heathcare Center where she is treated well and my sister is able to visit her every day. Everyone treats my sister like a friend and she really appreciates it! She is high functioning and was able to find a restaurant job nearby. But, it really gives me comfort to know that she has a safe place to live, is well fed and has friends in the community. Thank you, Rodney, Myra, Vivian, Linda and so many others on the Treemont Retirement Community team for taking care of and befriending my sister! And, than you to all the many, many wonderful friends - Sharon, Nancy, Wanda, Cookie and so many others - who take care of my mother in the Healthcare Center! Your love, patience and devotion is very much appreciated!

Very friendly staff who create warm and comforting environment for the residents. Overall, great place and great people. If you are considering a place for your parents, I would recommended calling Treemont.

My Mother moved into Treemont over one year ago and is 90. She came from independent living but from out of town. Needless to say she was skeptical about leaving all of her friends and moving to a big city but knew she had to be closer to family. We decided on Treemont after interviewing with several retirement communities and Treemont stood out of the crowd with price a factor and the amazing apartments available and the many activities offered...what a home run!!My Mom has since suffered a fall, broken a leg and is doing her stint in the skilled nursing area and with the great Physical Therapy offered have high hopes of her returning to her independent life style. Needless to say she cannot wait!!

Both my parents were residents of Treemont for over 8 years. They went from independent to needing a lot of assistance. When independent they enjoyed a comfortable lifestyle at an affordable price. As their health needs changed we took advantage of the Home Health Care and Nursing services provided on site beginning with just medication reminders and ending with extensive personal care. The care my mother needed proved a learning experience for both myself and the Home Health Care staff. In my opinion, the staff went over and above in their quest to make it possible for her to remain in her apartment and yet receive the specialized care she needed. They worked with me, with the doctor, consulted health care professionals and learned new skills along the way. They were caring and concerned for her well being. I do not believe she could have received better care anywhere else.

I don’t know how this facility has such high marks because I would give negative stars if I could. It’s too much to write down here, but I will say that my loved one was so poorly neglected that she ended up back in the hospital. The doctor said that if we had waited one more night that her kidneys would have completely shut down because she was so dehydrated. Why would anyone choose to become a nurse if they don’t have compassion for patients? When a family member goes to the nurse’s station and says, “something is wrong with my mom”, the first thing that they do is not to assign blame. The first thing they should do is jump up and go see what’s wrong. We had to call 911 to get help for our mom. The nurses didn’t even come into the room until after the paramedics were in working with her. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

A very good retirement center. My grandmother lives here and she enjoys the place very much. The food is good too.

Dyane and I have been here for a year and a half and have a wonderful 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment....the staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful....The amenities are great...the only complaint we have is sometimes the food isnt very good and the really good food is always served at dinner time when it could be served at lunch once in awhile....for example we never get hamburgers at lunch time....nothing major.....thank you for this opportunity to vent some....

Ive been coming to Treemont for a couple of years now to sing my songs for an extremely appreciative audience. I cherish the friends Ive made at Treemont and look forward to many more concerts. Treemont is a top notch organization in every respect.

Such a supportive and engaged staff! There are so many activities for the seniors. Enjoyed coming to the Treemont for many years.

My Dad lives here and he is safe. They have a great cafeteria and shop to get a haircut and also a library and many social events

For a number of years Tremont was home to my uncle Gil and aunt Dana Petri. My uncle pasted away in his early 90s and my aunt Dana passed away 1-09-19 at the age of 97 under the care Tremont and hospice care.My aunt Dana lived in her Tremont apartment and was afforded excellent care by Tremont who responded well to every request made by my appointed guardian cousin Nell Martin to make my aunts stay comfortable.Thanks to Tremonts staff for being good hosts to my aunt Dana Petri, especially the last 2 months. If you are thinking about retirement community living, but you are not to sure about, Treemont Retirement Community may be just the place for you. They have several floor plans and there would be one to fit your need in size and value. Treemont dining is quite an experience to which I was pleasantly surprised, the dining room is managed and run by a very in-house chef and capable staff. As for activities and other services there are plenty and the residents enjoy most of them if not all of them, Treemont also has a beauty salon that is second to none. I stayed in a visitor room for two nights with my wife, We enjoyed our stay and found the food was great and the staff pleasant and helpful,We would definitely move in next year.
