I was having a lot of pain in my right leg / as diabetic person with varicose veins moderate to high volume on both my legs ( left was bad and needed a VEIN ABLATION PROCEDURE which was done by DR.NAYAK CARDIOLOGIST KELSEY SEYBOLD CLINIC!!) It was a great success . But my right leg had only a few and didn’t need anything . As. I walk a lot I guess I put too much pressure on my right foot and this may have done the damage on my shin / calf and ankle. I started having unbearable pain in my right leg. I went to ER / went back to Dr. Nayak, he didn’t find anything after the Doppler tests . But I was unable to walk, sleepless nights, worried about my forthcoming vacation to COSTA RICA. I had 1 week on my hand to frantically look for a cure and get on my feet to make it to the trip or cancel it. Then my Daughter-in law, suggested, I go to an Accupunturist- and she browse through the Internet and found the best Accupunturist in H-Town!!! Dr. Jenny is so warm and makes you feel very comfortable with her outgoing personality. She handles you very well and she knows her job- she is the best!! The first session I took made me feel a little better / I went back to my second session and told her exactly where it stopped paining and where I still feel raw pain / she listens and lets you guide the pain path so she can put the needles right there- this session relieved my pain to 85% and the third was almost to 95% and then I went on my trip and enjoyed putting my best leg forward doing all the fun activities and put my leg to work with all the variation in walking on the trekking and zipping on cables on the mountains/ Wow !! I suffer from neck pain and lower back pain. My doctor requested MRI done on both areas as well as X-Rays. The images were clean so he suggested I do physical therapy twice a week for a minimum of two months. After the 16 sessions, I noticed no benefit and no improvement. Finally a buddy of mine suggested I give this place a visit and give them the chance to help me. I must admit I started seeing major improvement from the first and second treatment. I still have some pain but at least it was reduced by 80% and as I continue to get treated there I continue to see improvement in both areas my neck and lower back. I highly recommend Houston Acupuncture and urge you to try them before you head out to medical doctors, physical therapists, and chiropractors. The only draw back is while those doctors are covered under my medical insurance plan, Acupuncture treatment isn’t. Therefore, for a retired person like me it gets very costly and somewhat troublesome financially to continue to receive this treatment regularly and at some point I will have to stop and just use it when the pain level starts to increase again. The doctor that performs the treatment is truly phenomenal and has been really helping me a lot. I give them Five stars for their phenomenal customer service, cleanliness of the place, and the treatments they provide that addresses the issue and provides relief to the patient.

Ive been a client in the Holcomb location over 7 years now. Yeah parking sucks but the treatment us worth the minor aggravation.I crawled in barely able to breathe from asthma and mold spores. I was coughing up thick, gross, yellow mucus and left after one treatment breathing 90% normal no phlegm. I returned the very next day for my second treatment - wow!!! I left completely phlegm free, breathing 100% normal without the use of drugs or an inhaler. So, do I love acupuncture? Heck yes!!!! Its prevention over maintenance.

Before I started seeing Dr. Jannie, I was so close to giving up hope of finding pain-relief. Beginning in November of 2010, I suffered from a constant headache. For about twenty months, as you can imagine, this headache slowly decreased my ability to concentrate for long periods of time, and, as a high school student, I had trouble focusing in school. I saw two different neurologists, a whole-health doctor, a chiropractor, a NES health practitioner, an orthodontist, and a massage therapist before trying acupuncture. I had a MRI/MRA, got blood work done twice, and tried over ten different medications (all with different side effects.) By this point, I was tired of taking medication, tired of meeting new doctors, and tired of explaining about my headache. Then, a trusted friend recommended acupuncture. I decided to give it a try, and within ten minutes of going into my first appointment, I had no headache. Dr. Jannie and her staff were all very supportive and helpful throughout this process and were ready to celebrate with me when my headache disappeared. After so long with a headache, I had trouble remembering what my life was like without the pain, but acupuncture has eliminated that pain. I will whole-heartedly encourage anyone who is thinking about trying acupuncture to go for it! After twenty months with a headache, I am so thankful for the relief it has brought me.

After my very first treatment with Dr. Wu, my wrist pain of two years, and double achilles tendinitis for six months, which made me afraid to even stand up from a sitting position, and had me hobbling, were gone. All that was left after one treatment with Dr. Wu was some stiffness and soreness where immobilizing pain and 6 motrin/ibuprofen tablets a day could not keep that actual pain at bay prior to seeing Dr. Wu.After the second acupuncture treatment, I have to poke around to find the sore areas, and even found myself power walking through the supermarket, where just slowly strolling was hard work earlier this week. I find I am sleeping solidly, and have weaned myself from all motrin/ibuprofen. I am taking the herbs and will do a couple more follow up acupuncture treatments, per Dr. Wu. But I am amazed that I stayed in pain this long before I tried Dr. Wu. I spent good money with my GP, Orthopedist, and for deep tissue massage. But Dr. Wu is Dr. Wow, in my book. Acupuncture gave me COMPLETE RELIEF from horrible symptoms of menopause- extremely frequent hot flashes, intense night sweats, deep joint pain, and fatigue with insomnia.
