I chose to go to this place because of all the good reviews. I got my eyebrows waxed and that was fine but the lady didn’t use any ointment or anything after waxing or before putting tinting dye on my brows. My skin is on fire. It’s burning and so red and painful. I get my brows waxed and tinted every month for years now and have never had this happen before.Update: the waxing ripped my eyelid skin off and looks horrible the morning after. Redness has gone down but still sensitive to the touch.

The results from my eyebrow threading, lip wax, and Brazilian wax were amazing! She was efficient, talked me through it, and honestly it was relatively painless. Ive been going to Dillsha for my eyebrow threading and lashes for about five years. She has always done GREAT work and always has a sweet personality. I was so thrilled to hear she opened her own shop. When I visited, I was so impressed by the peacefulness and cleanliness of her shop. And her work is still superb! She also offers a punch card which is a nice perk! I would highly recommend Blink for any of your treading, waxing, facial needs.

I used to go to Lavish before finally giving this place a try and lets just say that I absolutely love it! I have never walked out of Lavish loving my eyebrows but I constantly do walking out of here. She really takes her time when threading and always makes sure I am happy with the results. I am so excited to have found this place!

I went several times and I was very pleased with the owner threading my eyebrows and chin. I also had my underarms waxed and I was happy with that. I went in once for eyebrow threading and chin waxing and it was a different lady. The waxing absolutely destroyed my chin. It may have just been a terrible interaction between the type of wax and my skin but it took months for my face to recover. I had never had that problem before and I have never had it since going back to my old salon.The women are very pleasant but obviously I won’t risk my face being irritated by going back.

I am so happy that I found this place. The owner D has been taking care of my lashes and haircuts for years. After getting my haircuts in Europe I was terrified to let anyone touch my hair and when I finally decided to cut it, it was D that handled it. I havent gone to anyone else since then. I have used her salon for eyelashes extensions, eyebrows threading, and haircuts for me and my children, we are always satisfied. She is so attentive and accommodating. Loved it, great family owned store. Only problem I had with it, is that the owner had waxed my lip & chin without telling me she was going too, & so I had to pay for both the chin & lip wax even though I DID NOT want either of those done, nor did I plan to spend that money either. Really wish she hadnt of done that bc I didnt really have the money for it. She always does this though, & thats how she gets you & gets more money outta you.

I am a fan, D is amazing and what I was looking for, I have been threading my eyebrows for a while with another lady in another state. Move back to Birmingham, and was a bit scare of trying a new person. However I read the review from other people here about D and the reviews were right. She is as good as the lady that did my eyebrow in the other state I lived. She also offers other services that I will be definitely be trying. And another thing I would like to add to this review is that she is in Hoover about 25 minutes away from me, but it is all worth it :)

This is is a great place to get waxings, threading, lash extensions, Henna Tattoos!! It’s convenient to Hoover area, Shelby county, Bham and worth the drive from anywhere. You can walk right in. They work fast and efficient and are very skilled. Their prices are competitive. I HIGHLY recommend this “best kept secret”!!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. De is AWESOME! I am always so particular about my eyebrows and she took the time to listen to me and perfected my eyebrows beyond what I even expected. I also tried the individual eyelashes, which I was so afraid to do because I had one bad experience at another salon. I absolutely loved my eyelashes after De installed them and I had them professionally removed today by her as well and I still have all my eyelashes after the fact! I am beyond pleased and I feel you will be also. Great place!
