Staff in lobby are not friendly, not caring and rude. However, once you being see by medical providers they are very good and make you feel like the care.

On day 6 of trying to get an appt or prescription that I desperately need. The calls go to a call center. If, after a long wait and many tries I actually reach the VA clinic then I get disconnected as soon as I start talking with someone at the clinic. There are no direct numbers listed for the clinic or the pharmacy. Terrible system. Veterans deserve better.Update: day 11 and still no results. Sick and beginning to hemorrhage. Hours on the phone, hours at clinics, and day after day begging for my medicine and no one cares.

Worst VA clinic ever. Husband is hurt since February and cant work due to his injury. So far all they managed was to take an MRI. Thank God we have tricare and he received the surgery that was desperately needed. If it was for this VA, he would still be in a lot of pain and still no answers for the employer. Never seen a VA as bad as here. 👎👎👎👎

Tried to make an appointment but was hung up on. On hold for more than 20 minutes waiting to make an appointment that cannot be made online. Staff is rude and think they are doing you a favor when in fact they should find another job besides helping veterans. It is our facility after allUpdate: I wrote this before I was able to speak with the site Administrator, Tracy. She assured me it will be taken care of an apologized for my inconvenience.Thank you Tracy.

The phone system is the worst. Always get transferred to the Charleston va hospital. I was totally mistaken. Shortly after I was unable to get through a representative called me and gave me all the info that I needed to get through whenevers needed.

Every time you call the Hinesville clinic VA number you get Charleston VA instead who cannot help you. When you call the number back that called you from the Hinesville VA clinic you always get Charleston VA which doesnt help.

As a letter grade I give them an E for effort other then that forget it. When you are seen in Charleston S.C. and the doc there approves you to get anything done here locally, well for some ungodly reason your local primary care doc has to approve it first. Case in point I went to the VA clinic in Charleston requested to have the EEG done here locally. This was back in the beginning of July. This is now Aug 20th and my primary care doc still has not signed off on it. My doc even had to resubmit this request. Why is he even in the food chain? Neurologists are advanced docs for a reason. Im only giving this clinic 2 stars. The staff though really are nice and welcoming when you come in, the facility itself is clean. I would say stick to blood work and x-rays at this facility.

I have been seen here since 2017 and I honestly have no complaints besides the fact I hate waiting after the appointment is over for the nurse to escort me out. Mrs. Mock has always been phenomenal with me when it comes to any care that I need. My psychiatrist was great as well. Im surprised that people have had so many bad experiences. Its hard to please me but my provider has done the job. I will be sad to leave the area as I hear horror stories about other clinics.

Dr. Watson has been able to schedule me for same day appointments when needed. This clinic has facilities for vision checks, lab work, and primary care appointments. There is also a Veterans Service Office on site. The facility is clean and the staff are friendly and respectful.

I’d give a 0 star if possible. I’ve had TERRIBLE experiences at the clinic. Nurse Mock is the rudest and most condescending person I’ve ever had to see. Asking questions is apparently not allowed. She sighs dramatically if you question anything and then says she’s having to repeat herself too much. It’s demeaning and when you’re in pain it’s upsetting. I should be allowed to ask questions about my own care. Can’t wait to go back to Colorado where the va clinic is staffed with caring individuals who treat you with respect.

I’m done. They have no respect for disabled veterans. I been told to use tricare, I couldn’t switch providers if I want, they minimized all my medical issues. Help me I’m not a burden. U get paid to have patient sensitivity no act like I’m a number. Then they said we deal with complaints from veterans like you all day. Ok well then fix it. I’ll just pay for healthcare.

Retired Active Army March 2013; soon after started receiving care at this clinic, specifically from MHC and Team 4. Also, received help from VA and GA State reps located at this facility. I have always been treated with utmost respect and kindness.

Staff lies. Staff acts like we are undeserving of their time. Staff acts like anything they do for us, including their job is big inconvience. And people wonder why vets are homeless and commuting suicide. We are made to feel like no one cares. And sadly most dont care about us.
