My experience here was great. Dr. Ray was very professional. The staff was nice. The wait time was not bad. I was out in about an hour and 30 mins of my appt time. Dr. Ray explained my eye condition and told me his recommendations. I would highly recommend this office.

I would not recommend Georgia eye institute to anyone because they infringe upon your medical rights not to wear a mask. Not to mention theyll book you an appointment for lets say 3:30 and you might be seen by 4:00 or 4:30 their organization is terrible.

I would highly recommend to seek care in Savannah or Pooler. The providers there are superior and will take the time necessary to complete a through examination.

I have nothing except for positive comments about this office. I took my daughter here for her first eye exam. She is 6 years old and very shy. Our wait time was minimal to nothing and everyone greeted us with a smile. Dr. Dang was very thorough regarding my daughter’s eye sight and very explanatory about what her eye test results meant. Dr. Dang’s assistant was also very pleasant to us. She was very patient and very sweet to my daughter. My daughter felt comfortable enough to do all her tests and was even verbal, which is very rare for my daughter especially with strangers. Dr Dang was also very sweet and patient with my daughter and was also able to have a conversation with her. In my eyes our first office experience was beyond amazing. I am definitely going to continue my daughter’s care here and when the time comes I will also be bringing my son here for his future exams.

If you are looking for an Optometrist, look no further! Dr. Melinda Dang is phenomenal. She welcomes you with a great big smile and makes you feel comfortable at “hello”. She is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to listen to all your concerns and will address them with very detailed, but simplified answers. She never rushed me and addressed my concerns before and again after giving me a thorough eye exam. She even went back over an assessment on my right eye to confirm her findings. She is diligent in her efforts to provide optimal care to her patients and passionate about what she does. The office staff and her assistant were lovely too. My wait time was very minimal which was a bonus. Thank you, Dr. Melinda Dang!

It was amazing. Dr Dang and her team gave me my sight back. After another Eye Doctor had told me they could not correct my vision because of my careticonous, Dr Dang spent the time and talent to get Scholera lens that gave me 20/15 vision. This is better than I can ever remember having.

I got a same day appointment when I called at the start of the business day. The front desk staff were helpful, and I only waited an hour to see the Physician Dang. She was exceptionally thorough, and very informative. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone in need of an opthalmologist!! ❤

When I made my first appointment. I arrived at the time of the appointment, was told that I would have to come back later or reschedule for another day. I had taken the day off to make this appointment, Which meant I had to change my schedule to be there. Now I was forced to reschedule. They said I could come back at 1:00 so I did, then was told that the Doctor was not in so I would have to come back at 3:30. It was a little frustrating but I just figured it was out of the norm that day.Well guess what. Today I had the surgery, hadnt eaten after midnight, and after surgery I was instructed to go to the office for a pressure test. When I arrived at the office I set for over an hour and was told that it would be a long while before the doctor could see me. So my wife and I left to get something to eat. After eating we went back by the office and was told, guess what, the doctor was not there to come back later. We went home and no sooner than we arrived home there was a message to be at the office at 1:00. We turned around and went back to the office, signed in and was told that the doctor was not in. That we needed to return a 2:30.This is a little bit much. If I had not made the commitment to have the eye done I would change doctors and get someone else to do the other eye. I might still do that if I can get a doctor to do it. This is poor office management. to say the least.At this point I am not happy with the service I have been receiving.

Had to wait over an hour even though I had an appointment. Whats the point of having an appointment if Im going to wait forever?? An appointment means Im available during this period of time. Not waste my whole day. The only reason this gets one star is because I cant give it negative stars.

Awesome Experience-Renewed My Hope !Dr. Melinda Dang is a Superior Eye Doctor.If you have Keratoconus, you really need to make an appointment to see her!Dr. Dang is kind, caring and a top notched professional. She is an expert in treating Keratoconus. Dr. Dang has taken the time to fit my medically necessary scleral contact lenses PERFECTLY. She has gone over and beyond the call of duty to get the fit Right! This was a process that has been unsuccessful and frustrating for me over a lifetime. I am so grateful to her.

I had a really great experience with them. They seem like they cared, which is a lot more then I can say for a whole lot of medical facilities here.

They are very unprofessional you a appointment and you dont get seen until a hour after your appointment. Dr Ray is rude and not professional at all.
