Upon arrival at the clinic I was impressed with the Covid – 19 protocol established and followed by Black Mountain Dental to protect both patient and employees. The facility is extremely clean and very well organized. Employees are very polite, caring and professional. I had a tooth extracted along with bone graft in preparation for an implant. Dr. Ghim extracted the tooth in a pain free procedure. His dental assistant (Mary) worked extremely well with Dr. Ghim. The two of them worked as one, an excellent example of team work. Dr Ghim and his staff kept me informed of procedures both verbally and in writing as what to expect as well as answering any question I had. In addition, the dental hygienist performed a fabulous cleaning prior to my tooth extraction. I highly recommend Dr. Ghim’s practice.

I wish I never got work done at this office. I had to have a tooth pulled, never had work here before and didn’t know what to expect , was let to leave the office crying I was in so much pain, I’ve never experienced that painful of an appointment, I was constantly raising my hand for the doctor to stop because it hurt too bad to continue which felt ignored, the doctor refuses to prescribe anything that will help the pain and won’t offer any suggestions to help with pain. I’m up all night in pain and very upset as this feels completely UNAVOIDABLE, unacceptable and unfair.

Love this place. WONDERFUL STAFF! they just make the whole process so easy. Wait time is great. No complaints! They make it so nice for my kids. My kids love coming to the dentist!

This place is deceitful and charged my insurance because I called in sick with the flu and they charged me a late fee. We are good people and know a lot of people in the community. I called in the morning of my appt and was very nice to the lady explaining I was so sick I could barely move. They tried to charge me 50 dollars before this after I called to cancel an appt. I should have left then. The lady said how sorry she was I was sick and cancelled my appt. A month later I received a bill for 50 dollars and they charged my insurance. Disgraceful! So you get sick and explain why and they charge you. Also, the doctor hardly speaks English and is not professional. Do not go here, there are plenty of more good and humane options out there.

I have only had two dentists in my entire life, and I will not be seeking out a fourth after my first visit here. I will be sticking with Black Mountain Dental. The facility is new, clean, and modern. The staff was helpful and nice, and the work performed was professionally done and gentle. They got to work immediately trying to help out with the problem areas that have developed over the past few years, and I look forward to continuing to treat with them.

Ive been using Black Mountain Dental since Ive lived in Vegas, so roughly 13 years. I love it, and the staff has always been great.Dr. Ghim is awesome, and I appreciate how he remembers little things that happen around the office. He commented on something and I just chuckled a bit, but it took a sec for me to register what he was actually talking about, and it really impressed me. Also, all of his staff, full and part time are well versed and do a great job with everything. I take to heart the suggestion they give me and I am glad that they have them to give.

Ive been going to Dr. Ghim/Black Mountain Dental for MANY years and I have NEVER had a bad experience. This morning was for a routine cleaning and I must say the hygienist was once of the BEST Ive ever had. She was thorough but very gentle and did a fantastic job. Love this office!

My experience at Black Mtn. Dental has always been positive. Good staff and good energy there. Only one slightly negative I have had is on my last visit a cotton roll was left under my gum when I left. Petty but not cool.Still give them an A+ rating.

My first appointment was not good. They would not let me go back in room while my child was getting worked on. I was not ok with that. But the dentist is so good, professional and explains everything is detail. The way he makes you feel so comfortable made me ok with not being able to go back with my son. Clean, new facility. This was my first appointment and I was truly impressed. I have a dentist phobia and believe it or not I was really comfortable to the point of falling asleep, which is something I would have never done. The staff remembered me by first name which was very impressive.

We have been patients for years and always love how thorough the cleanings are, how pleasant the staff is and gentle Dr. Ghim is.

After I took a big bite into a delicious bacon cronut this morning, I realized that I chipped my front tooth. I totally freaked out as I work in customer service and have to smile all the time. Nice teeth for me is a TOTAL necessity!!! I came to Dr. Ghim almost in tears and he assured me that everything was going to be fine. After he was done my teeth actually looked better than before. The color and shape look absolutely natural and he made my teeth more elongated and feminine compared to the shorter and stubbier look I had before. Thank you so much Dr. Ghim!!! I will be really careful with my gorgeous new chompers :-)

I just had my first visit to Black Mountain Dental last week, and I was very pleased with the service of the staff, and the great facility. The hygenist, Angela, did a great job on my teeth, and it wasnt uncomfortable whatsoever! Michelle took my Xrays, and did a great job, and she was very patient with me when moving the plastic thingies in my mouth to take the pictures. Dr Ghim was very personable and courteous when examining me. I felt like they do a very good job trying to prevent you from having greater dental problems in the future by giving you a little extra care now! Thanks a lot, Black Mountain Dental!

If you need to go to the dentist this is the place to go! Ive had a couple of procedures done here and felt no pain, one of which included a root canal. Ive heard my whole life root canals are supposed to be excruciatingly painful however I beg to differ when sitting in Dr. Ghims office. Dr Ghim and his staff are so nice and treat you like family. A lot of places dont care to remember your name without looking at a paper. Not these guys. They always know who you are if you call, you dont feel the need to constantly remind them of your dental situation, they are on top of things!

We drive up to their office from Cheyenne and Rainbow in traffic and then back in more traffic. It is worth the drive for us as it will be for you. Last week (May 12) I fell asleep while I was having my teeth cleaned. Its not that I was tired, it is that Pam was gentle and the instruments were soo quiet. On the same time Dr. Ghim made time to extract our daughters baby tooth and give us a referral for Aloha Orthodontics over in North Las Vegas on 215 and North Decatur. That trip wasnt as far, but wow! Dr. Chelian and all his staff had me laughing. I definitely appreciate Dr. Ghims referral of the network of dental professionals he surrounds himself with. This is coming from a dad of three, public school teacher and Army veteran.Thank you to all who make our dental experiences a positive memorable one!
