Best gym I’ve ever been to, hands down. It’s really more like a wellness center-gym-coffee shop-study lounge wrapped into one. Having a membership here makes me want to exercise, go to yoga, eat better, and get to bed earlier!

I started going to Orangetheory a few months ago and I LOVE it. Such helpful and knowledgeable staff! Everyone is so friendly and encouraging. Normally take morning classes with Katie, Liz, and Jon and they’re amazing!!! The owner/managers are so sweet as well! I recommend the Hamden studio to all my friends and people I know!

Great class structure with great coaches that will keep you motivated!

This place is good but if you have something wrong with you but your feet or something its always high power always on the go and they said the bicycle you could only have it 15 minutes at a time really ?

The best! Love these workouts. The coaches are great. And the best part is, no matter your fitness level, part of your fitness journey you are in, you can do their workouts at your own pace! I am a 30 year old, former college athlete and I joined with my 60 year old mom — who loves the workouts just as much as I do.

Cant wait to join just got to get this nagging injury healed an i am so starting cant wait for day 1

Katie is by far the best coach at Hampton. She is great!

My girlfriend was told she can put her account on hold being she didn’t have time make the classes for that month. They told her there would be no charge and that she can cancel whenever. When she went to cancel today they told her that she will be charged for the months it was on hold. This gyms a scam save your money they don’t care about you

I really like the staff and coaches, very friendly and helpful. I would definitely suggest the OT at Hamden. Though, you should know that they have a peculiar injury policy. I injured myself during a hike (Chest Contusion) and will not be able to exercise for 3-4 weeks. I just been informed that I effectively lost the 8 classes I purchase for the month, but I can pause my membership next billing cycle (after I heal). So as long as you plan your injuries and accidents based on OT’s billing cycle you will be fine.

This particular OTF studio has some catching up to do before it could ever be as great as other locations. The customer service skills here are lacking at times of interaction and at any given moment, whether over the phone or in-person, you will be treated as a nuisance.Management deliberately instructs their staff not to exercise discretion when asked to do so logically. I understand the importance of enforcing the studio’s Cancellation Policy; however, they will not extend or even honor minor courtesy requests from corporate as well as members on switching class times due to unexpected circumstances, e.g., changes in family and/or work obligations. Unyieldingly following a Cancellation Policy that does not put or keep the member first, is amateurish and not the way to go when working within the customer service sector - especially as a new establishment.I am a current member in good standing who is not asking for special treatment. Just that OTF-Hamden give these critiques some genuine consideration before practices such as these become too deeply ingrained and ultimately a deterrent to become or remain a home member of this studio. You will receive better service at any other OTF location. Sadly enough, even the staff at Chic-Fil-A have better customer service skills. Ha!
