Awesome experience at LA Fitness Naples. Greg hooked me up with a $0 enrollment $9.99 per month membership which I thought was a joke at first but to my surprise, there it was on the agreement. On top of that he mentioned he could get more of my friends the same deal! Club was super clean and pristine on my first visit. Plenty of weights and amenities that fits my needs. What really sold me was the fact that LA Fitness really made me feel like they care about my goals. They ran my body fat and BMI using this weird hand held machine and then created this whole timeline for me to show me how long it will take me to reach my goals. Now I feel very motivated to come 5x per week. Would highly recommend. Ask for Greg for the best discount! The cherry on top was the LA fitness shirt, towel and face mask he gave me for becoming a member!

The pool is a huge plus with this location. It’s regularly cleaned and the schedule is well-ran. The staff is professional and courteous. The machines here also maintained. I’d give 5 stars if it weren’t for slight mold in the showers. It’s cleaned systematically, but there seem to be spots that are overlooked. Overall, this a great facility.

La fitness is a gym for everyone. They cater to the needs of their members and provide excellent service. Plenty of equipment so I never had to wait. The locker rooms are clean. The staff is also extremely helpful from the manager all the way down. Would definitely recommend this gym for anyone who wants to have a great gym for good prices.

LA Fitness is a great gym. I’ve been a member here for a few years and compared to the other gyms, this is definitely the one. I love how big and clean it is, how the machines are set up, and all the amenities they have to offer. The staff is also very welcoming and they create a good and positive environment that makes me feel comfortable working out there. I wouldn’t want to go to any other gym!

Great gym. Im only in the area every other month and this is the gym I choose. It has plenty of quality equipment and its very clean, which is important in this day and age.

Even though is a good gym,employees are not the best and in this circumstances they dont care for following a simple thing like wearing masks. They have commercials on the radio about that but employees dont enforce it, even announcement on the door...so why its not been enforced. My question is why any management is aware or dont care we know that we are getting close to go back to normal but not yet so please take care of your business like we want to take care of ourselves.

Has to be one of the best gyms in the area. Always have a great workout here. Not to mention all the extra amenities. The manager, Mateo, is always there to help out and is extremely professional. Though the signs of proper face covering, people dont care. People walk around without mask. I cancelled my membership due to the zero enforcement of wearing masks. It is a good gym if not the pandemic.

My every day Gym. I love it. There is plenty of parking, the gym is always clean. I stop by the sauna room every time before my workouts. Its a great way to warm up or relax your entire body. The Zumba class is fenomenal, if you dont know how to dance, U guaranty you will dance with in 3 months. The lifting equipment is in good condition, plenty for every one. The machine missing here is the slider machine and the Kettleballs. The ones available are for personal training only. Overall, us the best gym around Hamden, my second home. I highly recommended.🏋️‍♀️🎶

I have had a great experience with Mateo the general manager when I needed some help with my gym membership. This great service and safe space is what brings me back to this gym every time.

Gym often doesn’t open on time. In fact sitting outside at 5:15am presently and no one has arrived to open the gym yet. Staff is never here earlier than 5am which is the opening time. Also, weights are never returned and no staff ever does rounds to rerack weights. Garbage left everywhere. Don’t join this gym. I only come here out of convenience of location.

One of the better LA Fitness Gym’s on the East Coast. Even the staff is friendly and ready to help. Establishment is very clean; including the locker and shower room.Took a couple of screen shots of pricing for reference. This is based on December 2016 pricing; which is subject-to-change.. Monthly plans are reasonable; which range from $19.99 - $34.99. Of course, this is dependent on how much you put down for your initial fees.If I lived in the area or had a LA Fitness near me that was this clean and well-maintained, I would jump at this opportunity. Would totally recommend this fitness center if you are fortunate to live in the area.Please Note: Not all LA Fitness Centers are equal in every and all aspects. As I have been to some that should be shut-down for cleanliness and safety. So there is no need to jump onto a national plan; as you may be disappointed at different locations, as I was.

Yesterday, Saturday, at closing time, I was a little late after closing time, which was at 7 pm, it took me 15 minutes while I got organized, the employee was very rude saying that he had to close at 7 oclock. . They are supposed to give a space for people to finish training and go out, I felt angry because the employee was unkind, for that reason I am going to cancel my membership tomorrow.

Lots of disinfectants available throughout the club. Not too terribly busy the times Ive been. They have extended hours back to normal so its open until 10 Monday-Thursday, 9 Fridays & 7 Saturday and Sunday. The Weekend later closing times are new altogether.

I have been a member for over 3 years now... I love the amenities, the weights, the friendly staff & that it’s never crowded. I’m glad they are open again. The club is really safe and clean. The cleaning lady is literally cleaning all the time. Wish they can extend the hours on the weekends, other than that this is my happy place. Five stars!

Excellent gym - the staff is awesome - great facilities- nice updated racquetball courts - tons of parking- huge locker rooms - my only misgiving is that i wish there were more water fountains spread around (but with Covid theyre not in use anyways).

Hello, I came to the Hamden facility and I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the gym. I also wasn’t sure if I wanted to become a member but I was greeted but a very nice staff person named Mateo and he walked me through the gym and really showed me how great of a gym it is. Because of him I really think I am going to begin my membership with LA fitness! Great service

I came into LA Fitness in Hamden and was automatically greeted with a warm welcome from the staff. The gym was spacious and clean. Mateo gave me a tour there. He was very knowledgeable about equipment and classes. Highly recommend signing up there!

I have been a member in Trumbull for years and just moved to Hamden and I absolutely love this club. Always so clean and never too crowded. Can’t wait until the state allows them to reopen the sauna! Six stars!!

LA Fitness is generally a subpar commercial gym. However, the Hamden location is quite a piece of work. The opening time is 5:00 AM and often times members are left waiting in their vehicles until 5:20 AM which is an absolute inconvenience.The mask policy is not adhered to or enforced nor is the disinfectant policy. It is quite frustrating especially in the current status of our country.Ive placed a call to Jada (manager) with no success of a returned call. Ive called the establishment regarding this as well as the concern of employees occupying handicap designated parking areas to maintain a better view of their personal cars.I would not recommend this location.

THE HAMDEN LOCATION IS CLOSINGFYI cause I just drove here to find that out and they didn’t mention it on the phone last week.

Definitely the best gym out here with a pool,sauna,basketball courts and so much more it is definitely worth it the staff is very helpful and is clean and up to code with all the guidelines. A 10 out of 10 I love it here!

Ive been to many LA Fitness clubs, however, the Hamden club is by far the most professional and caring. Their staff is always willing to assist and answer any questions someone may have.

Stay away from this gym, and spend your money elsewhere. Nobody wears masks, including the staff. Manager never around, and unfortunately we cant cancel or do much without the manager. And the cherry on the top is that its also unsafe. There are sexual assaults here, and nothings being done.

Lots of classes options and reasonable hours. Priced pretty standard with other gyms. Maintenance can be slow at times (one of the showers pool side hasnt worked since Ive started there a year ago).

This gym is super clean and very spacious. The locker rooms are spotless and the staff is very helpful all the way around. I am also very satisfied with the upkeep of the fitness equipment.

This is a really nice gym. Went to the other two gyms nearby to ended up with this gym. Kevin was very knowledgable and helpful. There isnt any chemical smell from the equipments (this is very important for me personally). They also have Sauna, pool, and spa, which neither of the other two gyms has. It is a little extra $ but they have other locations available nationwide, and if you sometimes have family members visiting, they offer free family passes for a short period.

Only good things to say. Super friendly staff and team, as well as well maintained equipment. Had some issues with my account, and Kevin was super easy to work with and went out of his way to help me. Definitely would reccomend!

Been a member for about 3 weeks. Switched from Planet Fitness. Used to go to the Edge as well. I tell you LA is not just a gym it’s a health club!! Loving it so far. Hector is awesome! He gave me tour and let me do a complimentary workout and by the time I was finished I was sold. Signed up on the spot. Took a few core classes with Ruth! She’s great! With all the amenities that are included in your membership ... basketball courts, cardio floor, an abundance of weights, aerobic and spin classes, racquetball, sauna, jacuzzi and a pool. Not to mention the kidz club is included no extra fees. Totally worth $30/month. I will be a lifetime LA girl!

The personal trainers at this place can be so abrasive and rude. Can’t even ask to borrow an item because they are coaching someone. Other than that it’s okay, have what I need to refused to come here again.

More than just a gym, Crossfit True is a community. I was very hesitant to start Crossfit, believing in the stereotypes associated with the Crossfit movement. Crossfit True pushes all that hesitation aside. From the owner, the coaches, and the members; everyone makes you feel at home and comfortable.

Had everything you need to keep up your body healthy, Yoga, Bike, Spa classes every day, i really like it !!

Great instructors but spinning bikes need tuning and a cross trainer hasnt worked for a year. They now keep bright lights on during spinning - not a great atmosphere. Corporate office is not very effective at managing sites.

I have been called every day for almost 2 weeks straight by an employee with the name of Mateo Avila. Since I gave my number to get a free pass he has called me a few times a day every day. I had to call my cellphone company to have the number block because he keeps calling me and the worse part is that he calls and leaves voicemails with background music and not saying anything. It is like he just stands there calling my number and saying nothing. This is a form of harassment to call someone many times. What a weird guy!! Be aware of this and report him to the BBB he needs to be called out for doing this.

Gym is good, but they spam you constantly and do everything they can to prevent you from cancelling your subscription. They make up all sorts of rules after youve signed on and then avoid your phone calls. Ive lost at least 450 dollars because of their shifty practices. Never again!

I have been going to L.A. Fitness since it opened. Its not like other gyms. I dont have to sit around and wait, like at the Edge, for the all of the muscle heads to finish talking and looking at themselves so I can use the equipment. At L.A. I walk in, use the equipment and walk out.The staff is very helpful and polite. Unlike other people that go to a gym to meet someone. Theyre there to do a job. The equipment always works, and if there is a problem with a piece of equipment I report it and its taken care of quickly. Its funny how so many people judge L.A. and end up at another local gym and then find themselves back at L.A. a short time later because they cant get a workout in in a timely fashion.Remember its a gym not a five star hotel or a cafe. I go there to workout, not to socialize and just take up space.

It’s honestly the worst facility around here. Dirty pool, dirty hot tub, pool has constantly 2 lanes instead of 4. There are 2 equipment in the weight room with a sign “scheduled for maintenance” for the last 3 months. There are only a few treadmills that don’t make noise, the rest are so noisy that makes you want to stop walking or running. The customer service is very questionable. The men’s locker room is ridiculously smelly

This fitness center is located in Hamden, CT. It is the worst customer service I never ever experience before. Today, I was calling them to get some membership information. A staff told me the price of membership and ask me to join by phone. I told him I need to go to your fitness center to take a look at and then I will decide if I want to join or not. Then That staff is so rude and disconnect my phone. With this kind of bad customer service, I highly recommend people don’t join the membership for this fitness center!

Had a complimentary training assasment with Quinten Jones, and liked it a lot. He is a great trainer, very professional and polite. He explained me a gym equipment in great details and showed me many great exercises. Definitely recommend him to everybody!

You don’t need to write multiple paragraphs for this gym...just stay away. High turnover with staffing, trainers seem to give you weird looks even though they themselves look like blown out tires. Most equipment isn’t repaired in timely fashion, not worth the $$$

This location has a lot of equipment with no waiting time . Great pool and sauna. Free weights are clean. Basketball included too!

My old review, 3 years ago: The staff are very rude, but thats not really what bothers me. The SWIMMIMG POOL- the water is VERY DIRTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is a horrible gym center.***New review 2015: I only go there for swimming. In the last two years I noticed that the pool is much better maintained. The water temperature is -- most of the time- perfect for swimming. The water is cleaner than 3 years ago. The stuff - well, they are nice now. Overall, I see improvements and Im pleased with them!

This gym is a good deal. The classes are solid and at very nice times. You can take as many as you want when you are a member, so if you go twice a week this pays for itself. The hot tub is big, there is a sauna. There are no fancy spa products (e.g. conditioner), but the facility is nice and never too crowded.

Unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Been going here for 5 years due to my dependency on the sauna. Price is overrated and you are simply an anonymous account to this gym. I go almost everyday and I am met by a friendly hello less than 10% of the time. This is a stark contrast to my experience at planet fitness years back...Maintenance staff is friendly and works hard. However, repairs could take weeks.Some annoying clients but fine as long as you set your boundaries. Weights are never put back. I question safety of parking lot.Not one of my best experiences but just keep my head low and get my workout done.

I love LA Fitness for the amenities. However, despite a couple of cool employees like Ted and the manager here, the rest of the staff seems cold and distracted. Its typically fairly clean but they need to go the extra mile to clean the ceilings, vents, walls, and maybe touch up the jacuzzi.In general they are flexible for payments and start up costs, and my daughter loves the kids zone. The staff there is generally very friendly and appear to care and be qualified.I would say that the welcoming front desk staff could be a little bit more personable and friendly. Its not that they arent helpful, they are, its that they seem to lack a welcoming attitude.. like they dont want to be there and are just going through the motions.I appreciate the GM and Ted for being awesome though and the women at the kids zone for taking care of my babygirl while I work out!

This center has swimming pool, sauna, hot spa, racquet ball courts, basketball court along with other basic facilities. It was well maintained and well stocked. A go to place in summers and winters alike.

Although it is a little more expenseive than most “common” gyms: it is very worth it. I signed up specifically for their racquetball courts. Both the employees (Andrew and Kevin) that helped me are knowledgeable, and made the sign up process easy, and informative. 4/5 only cause of the cost, but like i said: it is worth it
