I wish they took appointments for x-rays, youre not sure how long youll have to wait and, while waiting, it looks like people wait, socially distanced, standing in a 4 foot wide hallway. When i arrived, I was able to get into the waiting room but when i left, there were several people standing in the hall, thats the only reason i gave a 4 rating. But, my tech deserves a 5. she had orders to put me in weird position given the surgery i had recently. She checked with the physician to make sure and was able to do the X-ray as painlessly and gently as possible. She did a great job!

The only reason this place received that 1 star is by force. I give them a no stars. These are some of the rudest, loudest, disrespectful, and ignorant receptionists you will ever come across, at their finest. They violate HIPAA standards like it aint nobodys business. We all know that you all at W.I.C. dont take appointments. Its only for walk-ins. So, why call me to schedule an appointment. Yall trying to be cute and funny. YOURE NOT!!

I have suffered with a lumbar disc problem and was unable to lay flat. On 7/14/2020 I went for MRI that was much needed to determine treatment. Damian was the radiology tech and he spent time and patience to make sure I was comfortable and able to complete Diagnostic. I am a long time nurse and wanted to recognize how one person who is so caring can make a difference. Would recommend Whitney Diagnostic for any service needed. Thank you Damian

You do have to wait a little bit out in the hallway but once the receptionist comes out, they will let you in but only a couple of people. Must have masks on and social distance.

One star is honestly too much!I came to this facility to have imaging done. And the front desk receptionist CINDY was rude, loud and distasteful!! She was loud talking about my personal information while other clients were around and violating HIPPA.She declined me from being seen although my insurance approved my procedure. She made up a intricate story making it seem like my insurance was not approved when indeed it was!!I was highly upset that I had to leave only to call back and reschedule and being Informed that I SHOULD have still been seen.She works in poor taste and should NOT be servicing customers in this delicate field.

I was very pleased by my recent visit to Whitney Imaging for an MRI. My MRI technician team (Damon and Carmen) were excellent. Damon is very personable, kind, and comforting and has a fantastic bedside manner. He was helpful and informative in the conversation we had before my procedure. Carmens professionalism is of the highest order and she clearly cares about quality of the patient experience. I will absolutely come back here if I need diagnostic imaging in the future.

I would go elsewhere if you need imaging done unless you have a litigious mind and like being sued by your doctor/medical facility.The service they provide is alright, but the headache and hassle they give you after is not worth it.The techs are kind. The waiting room is crowded.My experience is as follows:I called the number on my bill a few months after my scan and was told I had no balance. I didn’t receive anything else, but a few months later, still less than a year after my date of service, I received a lawsuit from small claims court that I was being sued for $300. I called Whitney Imaging again to pay and they wouldn’t accept payment and referred me to the collections agency. The collections agency they use is nasty, condescending and refused to accept payment and told me my bill increased by $95 and that I would also have to pay legal fees for going to court.It seems unethical and like an unnecessary shake down. I don’t understand, if the office miscommunicated to me when I tried to pay my bill, why the collections agency never sent me further bills. You think they would fed ex me a letter for $3 or confirm my address before going the extreme route of hiring a lawyer and filing in small claims court, but this is not the case.I have private insurance that paid them their contracted rate. I attempted to pay my co-pay on date of service and called a few months after receiving a bill and tried to pay the amount I received a bill for, but was told I had no balance. Here I am- ultimately I’ve paid 32% more than I owed and am facing a day off work to go to court and legal fees....and it took many phone calls- like an entire afternoon- to get them to take payment for my amount plus the 32%....and the headache isn’t over because I still have to show up in court or else it will be settled in their favor.I’d pick another provider because going here is not worth the headache!

I had a Saturday appointment at 8am, the receptionist was on her phone via an earbud as I walked in at 7:45 she continued to stay on her phone call as she handed me paperwork to fill out.Technologist did not arrive until 8:05 and I had to wait until 8:15 to have the MRI started. Very disappointing and my first time at Whitney imaging.

Although its conveniently located in the doctors building in Hamden but their Xray result response time is very slow and not accessible by patients compared to Advanced Radiology Consultants in Orange CT, which makes the results (report and xray images) available to patients online in 3 days!I had my Thoracic Xray done Mac 27, and have not received any report yet, although they did give me a copy of Xray on CD upon request. When called they said will take 7 days, then I called again after 7 days, they said 10 days! Still waiting....

I love this facility. Every one is caring, helphul and pay attention to how you are feeling. If your freaking out because you scared they will stop and talk you through it. I live 50 miles away but I will ALWAYS go to this facility.

I really like this facility, my mri technician was amazing, I felt so comfortable, he kept checking to make sure I was doing ok bc I have anxiety abd had a bad experience at another facility. He even gave my husband updates(who was waiting in the waiting room) through out the procedure to let him know i was doing okay. Not that i want to get any more mris done, but if I have to this is where I will be coming
