My initial consultation with Dr. Shields and PA Stiles was excellent. They listened to my concerns, did a thorough examination based on my symptoms, presented a comprehensive treatment plan, and took time to answer my questions.I am looking forward to the scheduling of my surgery and the surgery itself so I can return to my activities and move forward!!Excellent experience thus far!!

If i could leave a review without giving one star i would..i would NOT recommend this doctor to anyone who is in serious pain or need surgical attention. i got my MRI he tells me i have no options other than surgery. ok not a problem...him or his staff neglected to fill out the notes section on the insurance companies paperwork so my insurance company denied me and requires me to fail 2 other forms of treatment before approval of surgery. all they had to do is call the insurance company and tell them my situation or fax over a sentence or paragraph saying surgery is in my best interest and my insurance company said i would be approved..ive called and physically shown up at the office to get them to handle this..they push me off to someone who never returns phone calls or tell me to leave a message they will call me back that they marked it on my file as urgent.and i never fet any calls back..they lied to me saying they contacted the insurance company and i was denied again ..i contacted the insurance company again and they still have not been in contact with anyone from that office..the insurance company made 4 attempts between phone calls and faxs...still no response..they did not even let me know my pre OP and surgery date was canceled due to insurance denial...this is my worst doctor experience ever...my pcp is finding me a new doctor and he as well will not be referring anyone else to dr shields practice
