I have been dealing with pain in my arms and hands for roughly 10yrs. Started seeing Dr. Mathes back in May. The entire office is amazing! From the front desk to the doctors and assistants, everyone cares and it shows. Doctor Mathes felt that cervical fusion surgery was the best option for me. After fighting insurance and getting things lined up, surgery was performed on Oct 7th. I woke up in recovery and already noticed a HUGE difference in my hands. The man fixed me and has me feeling normal again.Just had my follow-up appointment and had my staples removed and Im well on my way to recovery. I am a patient of Dr Mathes. I am 3 weeks post of from a spinal fusion. I honestly could not have been more Blessed to have him as my doctor. He talked with me and my husband before the surgery was even scheduled, and due to COVID it has to be rescheduled, but afterwards in the hospital he listened to me when he made rounds and was there if I needed anything. Upon my release from the hospital I had to call his office for some unusual pain and his nurse was just as kind, explaining to me what was going on When I went for my 2 week post op visit I saw his nurse, she removed the staples and was very easy removing them. I go back in a few weeks to get my post op x rays , I recommend Dr Mathes 100% and I’m thankful for him and his entire staff Everyone there has been kind and considerate
