I was a patient 3 years ago and was considering going back due to a recent insurance change. However I just got a bill in the mail for an appointment I had 3 years ago. I called and they said that they were unable to send the bill until now. That is unacceptable in my opinion and I have decided to go elsewhere.UPDATE: Change from 2 to 5 stars... After Rona called today and explained that their process changed recently and that billing for small amounts were not being sent previously but are now, she agreed that getting a bill for service over three years ago was not right and she agreed to take care of that. She was also thankful that I reported this so they can make sure it is not happening to others who had their last appointment years ago. I was always happy with the care I received there and will consider going back. Very impressed at how they handled this issue!

This place doesn’t treat you like a human… I’ve been going for 5 years now and their practice is absolutely terrible. What happened to the good doctors? It makes me sick the way they treat me… and I show up to stay well. STAY AWAY!

They failed to understand basic medical information, but if you leave a one star review you get discharged. Honestly, how is this right? I guess freedom of speech is a thing of the past. Do you still honor Hipaa? Or is that not your style either ? Shame shame shame. Avoid this practice if you value privacy and overall good health

I have been going to Dr. Melanie Greene since she started Brio several years ago. I have not had one negative experience with her or any staff. She has walked with me through serious medical issues in the last few years with unwavering support and knowledge. I would highly recommend Dr. Greene and Brio to any of my friends and family.

I met with PA Chandler Rackley. She was wonderful! Ive had MANY physicians write me off or only offer solutions for symptoms and not root causes. Chandler showed kindness and compassion from the moment she walked through the door. She validated my concerns and she was willing to do the extra testing that I wanted without even questioning me or making me feel stupid. I havent gotten my test results yet or had a follow-up appointment, but I still feel so encouraged. Thank you, Brio!

Brio does not care about their patients and emailed me a discharge letter with NO WARNING or explanation, this after putting me on a new Blood Pressure Medicine with no follow up.I saw my last doctor for over a decade and he was very compassionate, caring and worked with me. If you have a chronic problem, stay away from this group unless you are ok with only seeing their referrals.

Avoid Brio!I have been in customer service from being an agent to the department manager of large call centers for 40 years and I own my our business as well so I know customer service! Brio does not have any customer service what so ever in my experience with them over the last year. You can not get a doctor to call back, ever. Their Greer call center has a staff that does not listen to requests and the supervisor is the same. They have no compassion or sense of urgency. They do not communicate with local pharmacies in a timely manner and do not put in prescriptions into Express Scripts correctly leading to wrong amounts of drugs being shipped. I personally have had two doctors in the last 9 months quit Brio which says a lot as well. They claim not to be able to find doctors at all to fill the positions. They only have NPs to see patients once the doctors leave for greener pastures. Brio is becoming an urgent care facility it seems.I pride myself in the customer service I offer with my business. Brio does not take criticism well and does not seem to care when you bring their customer service short comings to their attention. They do not like to be lectured on how bad their customer service is!It is a shame when they think the patient is the issue when in fact Brio is the issue. Time to move on and find another doctor, again!Oh by the way, I have been waiting for a prescription to filled at my local pharmacy for a week now. They issue initially was that the drug was out of stock for two days. But the pharmacy needed some paperwork completed and contacted Brio three times with no response. The only way the response was given was when I had to call Brio to get them, again, to do their job!Response to the owner --- I have reached out last week and tried to point out Brios customer service deficiencies and have been advised that I have been discharged because Brio does not seem to understand Brios lack of communication professionalism and, for the second time is blaming me for your issues that I try to point out. Your Greer call center is the problem and needs a review of how customers are handled. Communication is the key which is something Brio is lacking.

My initial experience with Brio (3 years ago) was so-so. I actually considered finding another practice. However, when the downtown location was opened it was so close to work I couldnt resist trying. I saw Chenille. And I dont think I could ever see anyone else for standard primary care. She is responsive, personable, and a consummate professional. I have had to see other providers at the downtown location and they have all been wonderful. I have great exchanges with the front desk staff, as well as the lab. This place has told me I will be a mother and has encouraged me to become a healthier person. I have seen more of them than I would like this past year, but am so glad they are available. I have been able to get same day appointments morning and afternoon-great access!

Very friendly and caring staff. Dr Carter is the best doctor. When I needed an explanation she called me personally and explained it to me and I appreciate it so much. She is so caring about her patients. Also a good doctor is hard to find these days. I am so thankful for Dr Carter and her partners. Love you all.

Called to refill an essential prescription at 10 AM on a Friday. A Jennifer called and left a VM at 1:30 (15 minutes prior to their closing for the weekend- clear procrastination.) I am a work-from-home mother of an infant on a conference call. She left a VM saying I needed to make an appt (although I saw them less than 11 months ago for a yearly and have had extensive care via my OBGYN) since then. She said she could go ahead and fill the prescription but didn’t make the effort to do so with my pharmacy. This is just another bad experience of many I’ve had with Brio. Brio is a business owned by investors, who in my and many friends’ anecdotal experiences, put client care as their lowest priority. I recommend others steer clear and find a true care partner.

I am very upset with the Greenville office. My son just told me they will not renew his blood pressure medication until he goes on a payment plan with them. He told them what he could afford to pay per month right now and they said that was not enough. He also had an appointment to go over test results he has been waiting on for over a month. But they have to reschedule it due to covid. Because they need to see him inside inside not in the drive thru. Because they could not figure this out before they made the appointment for him. Now he has to wait again. It seems like all they care about is the bottom line and not the health of there patients. Run dont walk from this place!

I adore Brio Internal Medicine. Dr. Witt is fantastic. Very short wait. Very calming environment. Thorough evaluation and discussion of my specific concerns. One of the best experiences I have ever had with a patient/physician relationship personally. I work in the medical field and have pretty high expectations, and they have consistently been met with this practice.

Ive had a great experience (1+ years) with Dr. Erin Rogers since I moved to Greenville. The staff is always very friendly and the office is very clean. Dr. Rogers is very attentive and has been helpful with anything I need. Ive also gone to the downtown office to visit the aesthetics group and had a great experience there as well. I do like the doctors I have seen and staff very much. However, I cannot get through to make an appointment. Every time I call I am on hold for 15-20 minutes waiting. I have emailed to see if I could schedule that way. I received a response. I gave my availability and never heard back. The app does not let you schedule appointments unless they are available that day.I have never been able to schedule an appointment the same day if I am sick or have an immediate need. Today, I was told there are no appointments at any of the offices available today or tomorrow. I guess if you are sick you have to go somewhere else.

I was referred to Brio by a coworker after telling her about calling a different practice in town and being told it would be 6 months before I could be seen. When I called Brio, they could see me almost immediately (the next week). I made my initial appointment and was quickly seen once I arrived. My second visit after having lab work done was a very similar experience. I have been very pleased with the staff and their service!Updated 6-24-19 - I have now been with Brio for approaching 3 years. I have continued to be very pleased with the service and care. Even when my original provider moved out of state, they helped me get in with another provider who I Have liked equally as much as the first one! I feel like my wait to get into an exam room is less than many places once I get checked in. I have not felt rushed when the doctor comes and I feel like they are proactive when they need to be and reactive when they need to be. Their online portal is easy and reliable. I also have not had an issue with call backs when I have called directly.

The staff is very nice and helpful and Dr Witt is a really excellent doctor. She never rushes though an exam and listens to your concerns and opinions. She is very knowledgeable and cares about her patients-you couldn’t ask for a better physician!!!

Went for a scheduled appointment on my lunch break from work after waiting 5 weeks for this appointment. I arrived early. After having the basic weight and BP was completed I was seated in an exam room and told the Dr. would be right in. I waited for 25 minutes. I had to leave without being seen by the doctor. I wasted an entire hour lunch break and cant be sure the doctor even knew I was there waiting. I refused to pay for the appointment. The staff provided no explanation for the delay. I even told the staff that if the Dr. was running behind they could have called to see if I could come in later. Or perhaps they could have called and warned me that there would be a a significant delay. Clearly that did not happen. They clearly dont respect other peoples time at all. Debating ever going back. Was very disappointed to say the least. Sure am glad my concern was not life threatening. Clearly this practice does not cater to working folks who dont have unlimited time to spend waiting for the Docs to get around to seeing the scheduled patient. Way to make a person/patient feel valued and important folks!

Dr. Greene is the most thorough and attentive physician there is! She always takes time to sit and talk with you about what is important to you - the patient - whatever it may be, and find a way to help. Always up to date on the latest treatments, tests, and possibilities. She is also a very kind hearted individual. I would recommend her to anyone!

Dr Mercer is one of the best physicians I have ever encountered. She is thorough, supportive and best of all realistic with her expectations of living a healthy lifestyle. She has supported me through weight loss and health scares and takes time to really listen. I cant say enough great things about her and this practice. Love Marla Johnson and would for sure suggest her to anyone looking for a new doctor. I frequently give her info to patients in my office. So glad we found her after she moved to this practice. Sometimes have a long wait time when calling and slow response getting back to us when we call with questions but otherwise were really happy.

I was denied treatment this morning for a for a recurring sinus infection. Poor attitude and customer service from Receptionist to Physicians Assistant. At this writing, an hour later, I’m being treated by another physician.

Been with Brio less than a year. Had positive experiences in person, but trying to get answers over the phone is a joke. Have been playing phone tag with nurses and receptionists trying to get a school required immunization scheduled. Was told twice within two days that I would be called back (once mid day after lunch hour was over and another the next day after the doctor I see was back in the office) and I was not called back either time. Not sure how call backs are noted or followed up on but there could definitely be some improvement in their internal processes to prevent this.

I was referred to Brio by a co worker. Scheduled an appointment during my lunch hour. Arrive about ten minutes early, only to sit for over an hour without seeing a doctor. No one at check in or check out was able to provide an explanation as to what the hold up was. It was if they could care less. The office has nice decor but thats about it! If you value your time I wouldnt bother with this office

It really is unfortunate that I do not feel confident in this medical facility to take care of my medical needs. The doctor I saw was so fast, and did not want to answer any questions I had concerning my medical needs. I really wanted to see Dr Melanie Greene, but was told she was not seeing any new patients or transfer patients. I was okay with that until I find out my hair dresser and her sister both got in to see Dr Melanie Greene 2 months ago as new patients. I have been an established patient for 2 years. I don’t know what their game is, but I am very unhappy and will be finding a new internist!!

I have lived in numerous cities and have had various healthcare providers. Brio Internal Medicine and particularly P.A. Kate Nattier are the ideal in what an internal medicine practice should provide. Everyone, from the front desk to the nurses, are SO nice, they call back quickly, and PA Nattier is the best doctor I have ever had- in fact, I travel from Travelers Rest to Simpsonville just to see her. She spends quality time with me, she has helped me improve physically and mentally, and she actually listens to my concerns. That is rare to find in this day of medicine. Plus, the building is beautiful.

I went for a yearly physical last year. They just now billed me (9 months later) and charged me 114$ for a physical that’s covered under my insurance. Either they did extra tests(which i didn’t ask for) or didn’t bill me correctly. I won’t be going here again.

I have been a patient of this practice for a couple of years. The last several times I have been here the wait time seems to be longer and longer. My appt. today was at 11am, I arrived 10min early, because I know the doctors time is very important, I was taken back at 11, had my weight and blood pressure taken. Then was told there were no rooms and sent back to waiting area for another 20min. Ok, sure your busy. Then taken back again said the doctor would be right in. Waited 20 more min. and no one showed, nurse, doc, no one. Someone needs to take a look at office management and wait times. I am not sure I will be back. I needed to see a doctor today and had taken time off my job to make this appt., if I am not important, who is?

Apparently you can only leave one review so I am updating this one -- and I downgraded a star. I called my Dr. At 8:00am unable to hold even water down. I asked for a Rx of zofran to control the nausea. She sent it in immidatly but forgot to sign the Rx form. Fast forward FOUR AND A HALF HOURS and still no script. I am parched but I refuse to vomit again so here I am miserable, thisrty and waiting. I even said if I need to come in, Id come in. Nope. I was told not a problem, they could call it in. I am furious. My husband just called Brio on my behalf and finally got some answers. My doctor isnt in today so how in the heck could she sign it? Was I informed of this? No. I still have no idea how long it will take to get my script. My husband was only told it was marked urgent. If I dont get it within the next 3 hours, Ill have to go teach my yoga class in this condition (no, I cant get a sub and no I cant cancel). I will be seeking a new family Dr first thing tomorrow morning.Old Review:Been here for an hour and still havent been seen. Ive had this appointment for a week. Not at all impressed.

I have had nothing but issues with this place since I started coming here back in Feb. Ive left without UTI lab results because the nurse never had me give a specimen until I was done with the dr (this was my 1st visit). By the time my 2nd visit rolled around they shouldve already requested and received my records from my previous dr. but didnt request them until 2 weeks later (the morning of my 2nd visit). Now here I am trying to get my iron supplement refilled and theyre telling me I have to come in for a checkup! After 10 weeks? Seriously? I could understand if it was some sort of narcotic or depression medication, but an iron supplement for my anemia??? Dont waste your time. Find another practice.

My girlfriend has a prescription through a doctor there that put her on the meds personally and it is going on day 3 of her trying to get her meds refilled. Now that she has been taking it everyday for months like she has been told the doctor/nurse has not found it too high of priority to get the paperwork done so she can get her meds. She contacted them on Wednesday and it is now Friday with still no response and it is now the weekend so she will be without her meds for 5-6 days just because the people who work at BRIO INTERNAL MEDICINE are too DAMN LAZY TO DO THEIR JOB!!! I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone who wants a good medical team.
