How to get in touch with them? They dont answer the phone, or their voice mail messages. When they did get back to me (after I called the other location to find out why THIS location wouldnt respond, got the managers direct number, and left him a message) they solved my issue quickly and professionally. So Im upgrading my star rating from one to three.But geez, guys, just answer the phone already.

Several weeks, multiple phone calls and voicemails, and I cant get anyone to answer the phone or call me back! No good if you cant get in touch with anyone. Im having my equipment Rx sent elsewhere.

Equipped for life never answers the phone and they may or may not call you back. Their pay online system is archaic and there is no online access to your account. Try to find a different company!

My 2 year old was supposed to have food delivered on Wednesday. Here we are Monday of the next week and still no food. Weve had to get food from his doctor and the hospital.. Yall are about to get an ear full because you dont mess with my sons food..

My mothers doctor ordered a lift to get her out of bed because she is bedridden. Took weeks with repeated telephone calls and messages to get any information. No one ever answers the telephone and they do not return calls. They finally delivered the lift, but with the incorrect sling. The correct sling should have been delivered the next day. It has been a week and we are still leaving messages and calling repeatedly each day to reach someone. Would strongly suggest using another company for health care items.

I used to work for Equipped for Life. From 2017-2020. I never had any issues at all until the last year. Management there is not professional at all. Management there retaliates. Management there over the last year has been the cause of 20 plus people leaving that office. Either by being fired or by quitting on their own. So many employees quit with no future job because of the new manager Johanna. I never had an issue with her until I proved her wrong about a fire door. The director at the time came to me himself and he even addressed It in a staff meeting that I was correct. The next couple of days the manager Johanna moved me out of that office. It saddens me to know she’s that miserable to retaliate against me and also others that I seen. What’s even worse is when the current employees are coerced to write a Review and lie about what has went on In that office. The same employee who has talked about said manager to a lot of us who are no longer there. . Prisma health knows about what has went on in that office. Human Resources know as well as the president of Prisma. But they don’t care. We’re just a number.

I have worked for Equipped For Life for 5 years, in the last 1 year I have seen tremendous change. Change for our patients and team members as a whole. Our office manager is committed to our patients in all aspects of their experience from first encounter. Team members are being trained and educated so we can better facilitate all needs. It is something I have seen grow and continue. Our patients are the heart of our job. It’s our father, mother, grandmother, daughter, husband...who come to us in challenging times. Ive been trying for days now to get a hold of these people. Left multiple messages with no return calls. Dad was supposed to have oxygen and a nebulizer delivery yesterday and have yet to see or hear from these people. Completely unprofessional. Prisma health should end their contract with these people. Ridiculous!

So sad to see a company that use to have a heart, become so horrible. The manager at this company... who has been named by others... is a self serving, cold hearted, vindictive woman. I pray for the people who are working there, that they will see the true woman standing before them and find work elsewhere. There is no-one there that is happy, they are all angry and afraid.

Ashamed to say that I worked there. You will never get good service. The new manager, Johanna is very unprofessional and fired everyone who was there before her. The office is now run by temps so no one is completely trained. It’s very sad because I was once proud to work there.

They said they made a mistake in billing and sent me an 100.00 bill a year later after the fact. They also turned me over to an attorneys office in Greenville for collections. I always had a time getting them to fill my orders and returning phone calls. Don’t waste your time with anything Prism health and just go to Anmed. They don’t make you wait months for an appointment and genuinely care about your health.

Received a bill for my sons biliblanket a year later after his 1-year-old birthday. They said they contracted their billing out to a different company. Fine. The bill was wrong because we only used it for 3 days but they billed us for 5 days. My husband called and they said they made a mistake and would send us the right bill. Three months have passed and were still receiving the wrong bill every month telling us the balance is past due. No one ever picks up the phone and when the voice recording says to leave a message and they would return the call in 24 hrs - thats a lie! My husband and I have called and left voicemail multiple times and no one has called us back. Really have no idea how to get ahold of these people. Very annoying and unprofessional. Avoid them if you can!

Just started with this company and it has been a nightmare. It was over two months before my order was completed to get in for a fitting. They never answer the phone. They are definitely understaffed for as many clients as they claim they have and overall the staffing is not polite at all and full of excuses. I hope by the time my four months is up with them that I can find another company.

They actively work at being NON-TRANSPARENT, and predatory with their billing practices. Nobody has a clear answer and directs/deflects direct questions. Equipment is old and subpar. After repeatedly asking about billing details, I was given the number for the Greenville office. Nobody answers and I have been forced to leave a message on more than one occasion. As of this review, I have not received a call back from anyone. Furthermore, when its necessary to go into an office they are unfriendly.

This is such a rip-off company. Every time I go to my foot doctor, they automatically say I need an insert for my shoes. They are hard, thick and no way anyone with feet problems can actually use them. Shame on GHC/Equipped for Life and Steadman Hawkins for running this scam.

Have you ever run across a business so ineptly run that you either want to blast it in their reviews or offer to take a job as the office manager. That’s this place.The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. I’m not even sure the right hand is aware of where to FIND the left hand since it can’t seem to find orders of equipment for customers. Whatever their system is, it needs a complete overhaul.Besides order tracking, expediting, and delivery, the ONLY strong suit they have is possession of the equipment and contracts with the hospitals.Had there been a second option, I would have spent my time and energy with another company.

They cant get the orders right. they cant answer tje phone in a timely manner. tjey promisr to call back and do notthey sit on an incomplete order instead of reaching out to the perscribing doctorthe lung doctor did not send the cstudy results to the perscribing doctorthe perscribing doctor semt tje only perscriptions tjay the equipoed for life asked gor and daid it would take 90 days for the machine to get to me when it sits on the shelf in tjeir office. if it wete less trouble id fire them and go elsewherethis should br called equipped to dienot equipord for life.

As a new patient it was a nightmare to get started. They have multiple computer systems and dont check them. Kept telling me they had not received my sleep study and it was in the other computer. Caused long delays and many phone calls and false accusations to the other provider that they hadnt sent it. Dont go anywhere near these people unless your insurance forces you to do so.

CPAP machine turned out to be the worst billing nightmare. First problem was they did not call for benefits and billing requirements based on my coverage with PRISMA Health ( they are owned by). Took it upon themselves ( they would make more $$$) if they billed unit as a rental for some time they see fit and then purchase. Per PRISMA Health ALLEGIANCE insurance they do not require a rental/compliance period. Based on doctor’s order of the machine they want billed as a purchase from the start. Took ownership of the unit in Feb 2019. In March I noticed they ere billing as rental. This started my communication with them to back out the rental and bill as a purchase. I have spoke to Rekah Flint, Angela Williams, and Trent Gamble the director. To date they have ignored my request to bill as a purchase, lied to me about getting the billing straight despite my repeated phone calls. THEN after telling them my insurance will be ending in mid June they billed out AGAIN another time for the purchase ( price was incorrect to amount they told me of a prorated taking in consideration of prior rental cost to off set in the unit price) the month of June and now the policy is termed (like I told them).I phoned them on Friday and left messages with with Trent who promised to call me back on Monday August 19th. No call received by 11am. Called him again...he did not have the full story...and could not help me as he has a conference call to take that was more import them me.WHAT A MESS - DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS FOR YOUR MEDICAL EQUIPMENT. IT IS OWNED BY PRISMA HEALTH and they are COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT and out in out LIARS!!!!

I like the professional cusome service from the lady at the front desk. However, the respiratory therapist ( Dana) knew I was coming and did not have my cpap supplies ready. She also refused to exchange the hose which was given to me last time that I was there. It was not one that fit my machine. She was completely out of what I needed. Not only was she poor at filling a simple order for supplies....she was short spoken and seemed unhappy to be there.
