Every time I go to get my husbands prescription theres always a descrimpacy with the tech. The pharmacists are very helpful 🙂
Every time I go to this pharmacy to refill a prescription there is an unnecessary hassle and the pharmacist & particular members of staff are rude, condescending & as unhelpful as possible 9 out of 10 times that I engage with them.At this point, Im willing to pay the additional money it would cost me to go elsewhere just to avoid the unpleasant trip. I make an effort to be as amenable, patient & pleasant each visit (as I do most anywhere because I understand what it is like to work in public environments) yet still, all I get in return is an uncaring & unmotivated, cold attitude.I take a cheap, genetic & very common thyroid hormone; everyday from here on out. I noticed recently that the pill had changed in shape & color so I assumed it was a different manufacturer; no big deal. I go to pick up my refill today & they say they cant fill it because the manufacturer has changed and they need physician approval...Im aware that if a physician specifies a brand, it must be filled as written but Ive never encountered this issue before though Ive worked for practitioners in the past where I called in patient scripts & recieved approval requests from pharmacists. If this is a regulation or policy, then I absolutely understand & would not have any issue except that my simply inquiring about the reason for needing approval was met with condescension. I wanted to wait for a bit to see if she was able to reach my Dr because I had just been discharged from the hospital having had surgery yesterday, was in immense pain & didnt want to make several trips, however, we left after being told they probably wouldnt be able to call today. I called my physicians office myself immediately after leaving.I completely understand needing authorizations for certain things, although this is a new one, but the poor attitude & seeming as though you either dont want to be helpful or dont have time to be is getting old & has become something I anticipate having to deal with every time I need a prescription filled.
Tried to move prescriptions to a pharmacy closer to me .Pharmacy said they didn’t have time to transfer. I called and girl said she didn’t know when they could transfer and I was out of meds so I had to drive 40 minutes to Walmart and still wait for meds. Realo said pharmacy hung up on them.
Quick and easy. Nice staff.
