My insurance company sent methere.My visit good and i was happy with my glasses..but within 6 months they became so foggy I can barely see out of them..I thought they cant be dirty! So I went back to them showed them my glasses..they said that they were scratched that my cleaning cloth must have had grit on it..I used what they gave me! Said I should have washed it..really! I know they cost around 600. I had to pay 153. They asked if I bought a warranty on them..I didnt know I needed to..and was never offered one. Anyway they said they would replace the lenses for 143..I am on fixed income and my insurance still not pay until after the 1st of the year..so in the meantime I will have to wear what I have foggy or not.. needles to say I am not at all happy!

They were very affordable, helped me put in and take out my contacts and helped me get the best price on everything I needed. Would definitely recommend.

I was looking for an affordable place to do my eye exam, the doctor was good but my only concern was they have hiding fees, they told me a price and I end up paying twice the amount cause they charge me for something that I have never been charged before and doesnt have any sense, they should tell you this before.

The office manager, the only male that works on the glasses side when you pick up your orders, is beyond rude. I’ve witnessed him talk to his customers with disrespect. I came to get my glasses fixed and instead of greeting me he told me I needed to hurry up because they were closing at 6. I got there at 5:50 and out by 5:52. Very rude and talks to customers so nasty. Will not be coming back. All my friends and family that go here will no longer be coming back.He needs tips on customer service or needs to be replaced

Had a good experience up until the end! went to pick up my daughters glasses and the man who opened the door gave me the most disgusting look like I didnt belong there! Asked me did I have an appt in the rudest way...10/10 do not recommend....it should be about the customer experience from the beginning to the end! the reviews about the dr being nice and the staff being rude are so true!

Staff is always friendly and attentive, willing to work with you if you have to reschedule, nice selection of glasses and sun glasses, has no issue helping you narrow down your glasses choice, has no issue readjusting your glasses if needed.The doctors have always been very helpful and friendly.There is limited parking and traffic can get a bit hectic in front of the office. So just keep that in mind when scheduling your appointment.

I honestly had a great experience from start to finish. Receptionist is very friendly, they even helped me watch my kids since I had to bring them. The location isn’t the best, but I loved the staff.

I have used this business for 2 sets of glasses and they have worked very hard to help with fitting issues and with warranty claims over the last 18 months.I have never had a bad experience with the Optometrist nor the opticians.Would recommend to family and friends.

I had a great experience. I had confused my appointment time and they were very understanding and worked me in. The doctor was probably the best eye doctor Ive ever had and Ive been wearing glasses my whole life. The staff helping me pick out glasses were the best. When I got my glasses they had been marked wrong and I had to go back and they were very apoligetic and fixed issue quickly. Definitely would recommend.

This is a terrible place of business, and the management is the worst I’ve ever encountered in my entire life. My experience was so bad that I’m putting in a complaint with the better business bureau, and will also contact their corporate office. I will never use this location ever again, but my goal from here on out is to let the people of Greenville County know the truth about this place. Thank god for LensCrafters because this place will never get a dime of my hard earned money!

Always trying to unnecessarily talk you into buying another pair of glasses on every visit. As well as charged me for my free yearly eye exam and promised a reimbursement but never did. Even after making 4-5 calls and 2 trips back up there. I wont be back nor recommend anyone for there.

Don’t waste your money or time. There is a reason why this store has such poor reviews. I ordered to one set of lenses and a full pair of glasses here, both of which were over a month late in delivery. Being new to Greenville, I brought in a prescription from an optometrist back in my previous state of NC. I’ve been wearing glasses for 9 years now, and am familiar of the general break-in period when there is a change in prescription. When I finally received the glasses over a month later, I could immediately tell something was wrong. Please note: I don’t blame MyEyeDr for the bad prescription as they had not performed that exam. HOWEVER, here is where I think they got involved and should take ownership. The general manager at MyEyeDr was kind enough to offer that one of his optometrists the in office to perform a new exam. However, the effort was very sloppy. From the staff that performed the preliminaries to the optometrist himself, they only checked one eye (the one that felt most strained), provided no explanation of the findings, and proceeded to correct the lenses based on this “new prescription.” After three months of trying to allow a break in, my eyes could not adjust. Finally, tired of not being able to see well, I went to another local optometrist with great reviews, and he took his time and explained his findings, providing a truly corrected prescription. Mind you at this point I am paying 100% out of pocket as my benefits have been exhausted. When I returned to MyEyeDr. to see what they would be willing to do, considering that I had already spent nearly a $1k with them this year, the “best” they could offer was 50% off the lenses by treating it as an extended warranty issue. I’m sorry, but they should take some ownership in the fact that the “corrections” made within the 30 day policy were based on a prescription provided by their OWN optometrist. I didn’t feel it was fair that those facts were not being considered. They lack proper knowledge of optometry, even in things as simple as fitting the glasses to your face, for which I had to go to VisionWorks to get done properly. Having enough of this terrible experience, I finally cut the cord and partnered with Nigh Eye Group and VisionWorks. Night and day difference; they actually know what they’re doing. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

See Edit: First time in - things went well. The exam was quick, the doctor seemed competent, the staff helped me pick out my glasses and seemed very friendly - even though I am a)gay, b)autistic and c)very liberal in a Southern city. Prices were way higher than expected and staff became less friendly when I had to scale back my order but no real complaints as of yet. Well see how it goes when I go back. EDIT: Went back to pick up glasses. Same staff people very rude - no fitting offered, glasses not adjusted. I was expected to just take them and go. So yes, DO NOT GO here unless you intend to pay $500 or more or you will be treated as an unwanted guest and poor relation. EDIT UPDATE: Just called and was lied to by two of their reps. They claim not to have my data on file - which is a violation of HIPAA and tax law and they also claim that my prescription has expired so they cant share it. Actually they can and they are required to keep it on file for 7 years - also required by HIPAA and tax laws. DO NOT GO HERE!

The lady in grey hair (she didnt let me know her name) was getting my order for contact lenses. She was VERY RUDE AND RACIST. If you have a problem just stay home, why come to work and take it out on customer. She give me a VERY BAD ATTITUTE when i was trying understand all the contact lenses brand and types. instead of helping me understand what i ordered she didnt even look at me and just order whatever.I came because my eyes have issue. They treated me nice on my first time. Second and third time, they changed their attitute toward me. I have to take off my working hours to come and get my eyes checked. Its not like i dont do anything and just keep coming back to the office.I had a very BAD EXPERIENCE at this location and the staff. I am NOT going to come back here again!

Nice and friendly

I visited the eye doctor a month ago and had the worst experience , the doctor was pleasant but the staff could use some public relations training and on top of being mean and hateful they turn false reports and deceived my insurance company I they lie and try to intentionally discredit patients.

I wish I would have read the reviews before wasting my time and money at this location.
