I cannot say enough good things about Palmetto Family Orthodontics. Dr Caldwell treated all three of my children as well as myself. A nice smile is extremely important to me, so I am admittedly picky and particular when it comes to my family’s teeth. Dr. Caldwell is very knowledgeable, patient, and down to earth. He genuinely listens and cares about his patients. His entire staff (assistants, financial, & administrative) is super helpful, kind, and friendly. My family is very pleased about our experience at PFO and are delighted with our results.

There’s not a better orthodontist or human than Dr Watson. My Mason is Autistic and can not wait to visit Dr Watson. The level of comfort and compassion he shows Mason is simply how God intended us to treat everyone. Best practice ever.

PFO is great. We enjoyed our visit to learn about braces for our two boys. They were quick, efficient, and very friendly. Our 10 and 11 year old boys felt very comfortable about getting braces after their appointment.

You are greeted with a smile the moment you walk in the door and every person you come in contact with during your visit is just as kind and accommodating. The office is so well run! There is little to no wait time, we are called back within minutes of walking in the door! This is helpful with our busy schedule! Dr. Caldwell just finished braces on my teeth after two years and I couldnt be any more happier with the way that things turned out. He has been the most compassionate, heartfelt, and honest doctor that I have ever seen. He listened to every concern that I had and took the time to get it right. I would recommend him and his staff to any one in the entire upstate. He is worth the money and worth the drive because his skill level is awesome! I didnt think there was any hope to straighten my teeth but he did. From the minute you walk in, to the minute you leave, the staff at Palmetto Family Orthodontics is so friendly. I work in a dental office, so to find the best orthodontist out there was a huge concern. I had one choice to get this right, and Dr. Caldwell did. All of the other orthodontist just didnt seem as passionate as what Dr. Caldwell did and working in a dental office, thats what you want. My teeth are up to a high quality dental standard that Im proud of now. I will definitely be coming back with my two kids to see Dr. Caldwell. He is hands down the absolute best out there.

Dr. Watson is the BEST! We absolutely love him and the whole staff at Palmetto Family Orthodontics. Our 11 yr old son has sensory and anxiety concerns, plus is the poster child for ADHD -- which makes him not the easiest patient to work on. Dr. Watson (plus Amanda and Tasha) are always so patient with him. Even when there are other patients waiting, they have never seemed in a hurry or frustrated. They are able to easily talk him into whatever needs to be done. He actually looks forward to going to the orthodontist, which is a blessing to me. Dr. Watson is a big kid (a very competent and knowledgeable big kid) whose office atmosphere is inviting. When our son had to have head gear, Dr. Watson eased him into it by making up this whole ninja story (which my son completely loved). Dr. Watson even presented our son with a certificate of his very own secret ninja name in a small ceremony -- how fun was that! At one visit, there were two very loose teeth in the way of something that needed to be done, and Dr. Watson (using his specialized ninja training, I suppose) was able to pull them while having a conversation about school without my son even noticing. I would never have believed this had I not been sitting right there -- I was as surprised as my son when Dr. Watson held up the 2 teeth. We highly recommend Dr. Watson and Palmetto Family Orthodontics.

Love this office and these Drs! Were patients at the Spartanburg location, and they always go above and beyond. They werent the cheapest quote we received but just by the explanation of the work my son needed, their knowledge was evident in the field. Highly recommend!

After going to a number of different orthodontics offices around Greenville for consultations, I stopped looking after I found PFO! Dr. Watson was so engaged, helpful and committed to get me through my journey with braces as an adult as soon as possible, but with long term results. He worked closely with my dentist to plan my post-braces dental procedures. In addition, Tara the insurance coordinator and Marie office coordinator were both always so helpful and responsive during the entire process.Im very happy with the results and I strongly recommend the entire team!!

My daughter just got her braces off. Even though it was a struggle the whole entire time, the results are amazing. Dr. Caldwell was patient, understanding, and explained everything in detail. He is a great man and an awesome orthodontist. Highly recommend to any age.

I highly recommend Palmetto to anyone who needs any kind of orthodontic work! My oldest son (the first for braces) needs extensive work because of his set-back lower jar. Two other orthodontics offices said he must have jaw surgery. However, when we voiced our concern to Palmetto as a 3rd opinion, Dr. Caldwell said it is possible to fix my sons jaw and alignment without surgery, but he needed to start early. Dr. Caldwell is not only patient with our concerns, but he is EXTREMELY patient with my son (who had significant anxiety with dental work). Additionally, we have had emergencies with broken appliances, and Dr. Caldwell met us up at the office to take care of it immediately. We still have two more boys who need orthodontic work, and this is where we will continue our business! I happily recommend Palmetto Family Orthodontics to anyone seeking an orthodontist.

I dont often write reviews but we are new to the area and a friend recommend we try this orthodontist. We are truly pleased, the staff and doctors have been very helpful. The staff is friendly and responsive, they have gone above and beyond. This is not the only orthodontist we have ever worked with but they are by far the best!!!

I’m a 41-year-old woman, and I had an extremely bad experience with Palmetto Family Orthodontics and Doctor Caldwell, he put my braces on in 2014 and took them off at the beginning of 2017. Mr. Caldwell never listened to my concerns. In my opinion, for this kind of job the provider needs to listen closely to the patient in order to perform an outstanding job and by the end make the patient happy. Three months before taking my braces off in November 2016 Mr. Caldwell broke my bridge loose because he tides all the wires so hard that honestly, I was in pain for a month. (bridges cost more than $4000) I got mad at him and we had an argument; two weeks later I received a letter from him where he had dropped me as a patient without finishing the job. The bad side about this situation was that I had already pay the full amount of $5000. As a result, I turned Mr. Caldwell into the better business bureaus (BBB) and he responded to me with a referral to Linda Bridge (SouthEastern Dental) to make me a new bridge but that place lacked the skills that were needed to perform the correction. Lastly, I want to say that I lost all my money. My teeth started separating since he didn’t finish the job. In addition, I need to see a cosmetic dentist to work on another bridge. New patients, please learn from me, don’t pay to Palmetto Family Orthodontics any money up front, because if you are unhappy with the orthodontics procedure you can easily walk away and look for another orthodontics.

I honestly can’t give a higher review for Palmetto Family Orthodontics! Dr. Caldwell did such an amazing job with my teeth. He rolled with all the punches I threw at him. My original treatment time was around 2 years but when I found out that I was accepted into the United States Air Force my treatment time got cut down to just 11 months and there was a lot of work to do. Dr. Caldwell made sure that I had a smile I was proud to show off. I can not thank him and the staff at Palmetto enough!

These two orthodontists love kids and they were so kind and fun with my daughter. It was a great experience, and the arcade games in the waiting room didnt hurt. Highly recommended.
