No complaints here. I had an infected tooth extracted which went very well. The student that extracted my tooth was attentive to detail, and did an awesome job. The student who assisted assured I was comfortable throughout the procedure. The oral surgeon/instructor checked in regularly from beginning to end to insure all was well and to give instruction. I am a happy camper and plan on returning for further care.

The workers are so kind and you can tell they genuinely care about you and what they’re doing. Not like some dentists where they just want you in and out the door and don’t care about the work they do. 10/10 recommend.

Great service all the way around. From start to finish they were on top of things. Great check in. Students are great. No worries a Dr is present and nothing is done without being seen by a Dr. I would highly recommend to anyone with tight resources. It does take longer than usual start to finish. A small price to pay.

The 2 students Ive seen have been very nice...but nice doesnt get my tooth pulled Nice doesnt get my teeth cleaned. It takes them FOREVER to make an appt, THEN they call to reschedule, after youve already been approved for 2 days off from work. When they rescheduled my appt, it wasnt even for the same month...IT WAS FOR 6 WEEKS FURTHER OUT!!!

This is a school of education which conflicts greatly with learning. I had hoped that wouldnt be the case in a medical school but, much like high school, which I have taught, these students are educated. They dont get the opportunity to learn. I wouldnt go here. I expected much much better as an ECU Alumni.

I was referred by my doctor to try the School of Dentistry due to my type of my insurance. Had the appointment, Did the X Ray.. Got the results.Wisdom tooth.. and the one in front just a cavity. Being the supportive person I am. Gave the young lady a chance. But the doctor wasn’t in place most of times. To fill prescriptions or sign off on different things.. i was only prescribed 11 Amox-Clav antibiotic, along with some Chlorhexidine Oral Rinse. I did I was instructed.. and followed every step. Til last night. My tooth was on a Ten. I spoke with a older lady.. Concerning a refill, I’m scheduled a Tooth Extraction on October 6. But the pain has intensified. Since my appointment, Late last night I ended up going to Vidant Medical Emergency Department, Hoping to be seen and get some type of relief to sleep through the night Sadly I didn’t get seen.. Okay.. Today. Call to speak with someone concerning a refil, a Older Lady.. Says.. I must call them from the hours of 9am-12:30pm.. Wow really.... I feel so betrayed. I went looking for relief and got more pain. I’m currently looking for another dentist in Greenville. It won’t Be ECU School Of Dentistry ever again. I learned my lesson.

Took my 3 yr old there and had an AMAZING experience. Both the dentists she seen today were so good with her. My daughter has anxiety about people being near her mouth and the lady made sure she was comfortable in every way about everything she was doing. My daughter felt so comfortable with her that she was showing her all her barbies and giving her high fives.

Absolutely a ZER0 for a complete and utter waste of my time. For over a year the orthodontic department has had me in and out of appointments & consultations. Now tell me they cant help me at all and ask if I want a referral for another opinion. Ill make my own referral. Im usually not so negative but this is absolutely ridiculous. Save your TIME AND MONEY!!! Its NOT worth it!!!!

Had a appointment today for a root canal consultation. No wait at all. Dentist looked at my x ray from my regular dentist cause I had a VERY bad infection on my upper front tooth. Dentist at ECU told me that I needed a root canal and immediately did it. Quick and painless. I dont have dental insurance and it was $433 (I believe). Cheap! I was allowed to pay $266 today and the rest will be paid at my follow up appointment where I will get a temporary cap placed on my tooth until my regular dentist can put a crown on it. Staff and dentist were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place!

I absolutely love my new snap in dentures for my lower jaw. Its like I never lost those teeth. The first few mornings of waking up with a full set of teeth in my mouth was like Christmas. It took a year longer to complete than expected, but its over and Im very happy with the results.

If I could I would give 0 stars! My daughter had a terrible experience at this place! She feared going to the dentist for the longest time. If you have children do not take them here! My child was treated very poorly and very unprofessionally. To make a long story short, my sweet daughter left with a bruise on the side of her neck dark purple and very clear to see and she is mixed! Me, being unaware that there was no real dentist present during the whole procedure. I wouldnt recommend this darn place to my worst enemy. I now take my child to Greenville Smiles, and they are Great!

It appears they use your financial status to create your care plan as opposed to your needs. Odd for a place that claims to be in rural areas to help provide dental care to the uninsured and low income population.

Ive been a patient here for 2 yrs. Had to wait to be evaluated fora while til new openings available. Keep calling. Have to meet financial & dental needs. Was eval. by faculty. I am on 2nd student & have no complaints. I was scheduled for a surgery w. Dental Surgeon consultant to student & surgeon broke leg that am. Other consultants took over & I had super experience. Follow up visit everyone involved was there to check on me. Always, explanations were clear on what was to be done. Latest techniques are being taught & pt. gets benefit.

Even though I am an employee of ECU and I gave them my insurance details 5 times and had my benefits specialist call them to confirm my insurance, they still billed me as having no insurance and overcharged me for two years. Possibly the most incompetent, disorganized and unresponsive accounts and billing section. Its no wonder they cannot keep faculty there.

If they tell you to call to make an appointment. Dont call go there to make an appointment. If not youll spend hours being hung up on and then they will say we had a phone problem but too bad for you we might be able to see you in 9 months. Really punish people for your stupidity.
