Absolutely not what I expected nor what they had communicated! Not all incidents are properly documented. Excuses never-ending! This facility lacks compassion, empathy and communication. They do have a reason for it all! Yes their staff has been their for 10 plus years. That means they are stuck in their ways and refuse to change! If you have the opportunity to take your family elsewhere I strongly encourage it.

My Mom went to Briarcliff for a couple of weeks after she was released from the hospital. I have nothing but good things to say about the way my Mom was cared for. All of the staff are so caring and kind. Even though of course my Mom wanted to go home she was very happy while she was there. Daisys family would like to personally thank Gayle for taking such good care of her and dont ever lose that great sense of humor!

My mom was in here a couple of years ago and it was the best, but this time is a complete embarrassing, humiliating, mess. Have waited over 30 to 45 minutes for help for her to go potty, get back in bed, etc. Nothing but hateful attitudes, and no help. 2 people on the whole floor going crazy and getting short tempered with these old people due to lack of help. Im getting my mom out of here, I can do better myself.

I am disgusted by these people. My grandpa has dementia and he has had to go back between here and the hospital a lot recently due to depleting health. Well, Briarcliff has decided that psychical therapy will no longer improve his state of being, they gave two week notice to have him out of the facility. 6 days later all of my grandfathers clothes were stolen and the administrator tried to tell my mother that she took all his clothes home with her.. which she did not. They wash his clothes due to his lack in bladder control. His kick out date was 4/14/2018.. on 4/12/2018 they called and informed my mother they were removing him from their facility today due to the fact he wonders too much... WHAT DO YOU EXPECT!! He has no memory, barley can move on his own, cant fully talk.. hes confused and doesnt know where he really is.. so him wondering about the building is enough to kick my grandfather out?! SCREW YOU PEOPLE!! When you are old I hope that no one takes care of you! He can not help it.. and now we have no where for him to go because at home we do not have the necessities to take care of him. We can not lift him, we do not have a hospital bed.. we have nothing.. THANK YOU FOR BEING COMPLETE JERKS TO MY FAMILY AND MY GRANDPA!!! DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY! If they actually have to work they throw you out!!!

We put our grandmother in based off referrals and reviews and so far it has been a nightmare. This place could careless about their patients. They hit the nurse light and it dings for over an hour. Every time we are here I find myself showering or cleaning her myself after having accidents. We tell the nurses and aids and they dont do anything to help until its convenient for them. The point of having a rehabilitation facility/nursing home is to ensure our families are taken care of and as of right now they arent. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone at all.

After my Father passed away, we took care of my mother who had Alzheimers for as long as we could. When things got too difficult we moved her to Harrison House (assisted living). She stayed there and loved it for a few years until he condition decayed to the point of having to chair restrain her to keep her from walking until she fell. At that point we had to move her to Briarcliff. The staff at Briarcliff were outstanding and she loved it there. When I run across them in public, they still talk about here and how much they miss her. AWESOME PLACE GREAT STAFF.

Comeplete trash place to go to I saw young nurse mixed boy Justin I think who worked there spent all his time following around a young white girl she seemed to want nothing to do with him but he kept going at her he was rude to her they both work there if he’s that rude to her because she wouldn’t do whatever with him anymore how rude is he with my mom and this place alows it to go on seen these two work together before this incident a week before or so and go into an empty room for 10-20 mins and came out like if your employees get paid to take care of my mom not to screw around the girl looked traumatized like she was forced to do something with him I wanted to bring it up to management but didn’t want to get my mom kicked out of this location

Went to see my mother for the first time, when I went in the door an alarm started to sound. As I passed the nurses desk I was very rudely told to use the code next time. I said it didnt need a code, the door just opened. She said well, after 5 you have to use the code *****. Ok. As I was going back outside, I was rudely directed to use the code please. These were the first 2 people I saw when I came in and I was very upset at being treated so rudely. Also, no one seemed to know what was going on. Everytime I asked a question, they had to ask someone else and so on down the line. Not impressed with Briarcliff at all. Needs to work on staff a lot.
