My 92 year old mother has been a patient of Dr. Iqbal for almost two years. I find the staff to be polite, pleasant and professional. The doctor is cordial and on point with his diagnosis. During her visits, I value his patience and attention to detail and also for allowing both my mom and me to ask necessary questions specifically regarding medications and their side effects to our satisfaction.

I was called into the office of Dr. Aleem Iqbal to discuss the results of an MRI that had been done on me the day before. I took time off work to do this. When the doctor finally got around to me, I was brought into his office where he sat at his desk and pulled his Covid mask down with me in the room. Although we were distanced, I found this very disturbing. He then proceeded to ask questions making it quite obvious he had pulled the wrong folder and thought I was someone else. When he finally got my folder, he discussed the results, but also indicated that he hadnt seen the actual images. Id have brought the CD had he asked, but he also had a website on the results in front of him with instructions on how to see the images. His manner was brusque and defensive, whenever I asked him to clarify anything or asked reasonable questions. He acted as if he had a bus to catch. All of the above paled to when he started the examination. He took my blood pressure, and I mentioned that it would probably be high as hed alluded to a slight chance of malignancy and that any mention of cancer terrified me. His immediate response was I thought you were strong. I was absolutely shocked at his callous statement, and effectively had to conceal my rage at effectively being called a coward by my own doctor. After the exam, I asked a few more questions and he said something to the effect of I have other patients waiting, and then proceeded to call my primary care physician and spend about 10-15 minutes relaying his diagnosis while I waited: a first for me with any doctor. There is such a thing as a bad bedside manner, and then there is this guy, who casually insults his patients. I have since fired him and wouldnt recommend him to treat a hangnail, much less neurological issues. He has no empathy, at least not toward me.Addendum: The response to this review is ridiculous. To say I thought you were strong to a patient who is concerned for his health is the exact opposite of caring. I frankly do not care what the practice thinks of my review, I just want to warn other patients of what is in store for them. This is my final word on the subject.

Dr. Iqbal Aleem has been my neurologist for more than 10 years. He has taken care of me for cervical spine, vertigo and lumbar spine issues. He is the most caring physician that I have even seen. He listens to my concerns and spends time to discuss my symptoms and treatment in detail. He pays full attention to and answers all my questions in language I can understand. He and his office are extremely accommodating in terms of scheduling my urgent appointments and providing me reports. I highly recommend Dr. Iqbal.

I have been a patient of Dr. Iqbal for the past 5 years. I am being treated for migraine headaches. I called the office about an issue I was having and was giving a appointment on the same day that I called. This office staff was so friendly and accommodating. I am extremely happy with the attention that I received from Dr Iqbal. He listened to all of my concerns and made sure my questions where answered.. He explained in detail what he thought my health emergency was and what plan of action he wanted to take to treat my symptoms. I am pleased with the service that I have received. Very good doctor. I would highly recommend Dr. Iqbal.

The worst customer services, starting from the doctor and then the staff ,I have always bring my mother 30 minutes or 45 minutes before her appointment, they make you wait and then put other people in front of you, when you complain they told you if you don’t like the only thing they can do is reschedule you + and attitude , you hear the doctor in 30 minutes personal phone call, they discriminate again people and treat others differently based on appearances the worst experience ever, I have been hesitate to write a review but today, is just unbelievable, every single appointment is the same way, for places like this is this country is the way it is. They act like they not getting paid like you go there to get something free and the manager come to me and if you don’t like that we put someone in front of you, the only thing I can do is reschedule you. This is just the worst place. Remember everyone deserve to be treated equally.

I came to Dr. Iqbal 9 or so years ago for spells of pre-syncope and was told I was having seizure activity, but that I would be able to recognize whether or not I was having seizures. He told me I needed to stop driving and go on epileptic medication. I believe he was trying to be direct, but his explanations came off as rude and seemed like he did not want to be bothered with answering questions. He was giving me a life-altering diagnosis and yet I was not provided the time to ask follow-up questions. I was severely impaired while on the medication and was given heartless care by Dr. Iqbal as he was flip-flopping on whether I was having seizures and that somehow I could be the only one to be sure of whether I was having seizures. I went to a different neurologist at another practice after a couple visits and after a 24 hour EEG, was told with reasonable certainty by this new doctor that I was not having any seizure activity in my brain and did not have epilepsy. Recognizing that this was a long time ago, I sincerely hope that he has provided more compassionate care to others since then.

This place has the worst front desk staff. They act like you’re bothering them by showing up to an appointment. They act like they’re miserable and hate working there. Is a Shame because he’s a good doctor who’s caring and knowledgeable. Also If the staff doesn’t like you they Purposely won’t summit your claim to your insurance. The billing person is also terrible and rude. Thank God for good insurance with great customer service, they were able to solve the problem. ( My visit was over a year ago so hopefully he has new staff)

I have been a patient of Dr Iqbal for over 13 years and I adore him. He has been there for me during my toughest moments battling this ugly disease. Hes courteous, compassionate, patient, and attentitive. His staff is awesome as well. Even though he has a patient clientele out of the yang yang they always try to fit you in whenever they can. They are very courteous and so friendly to my family as well. The office is very clean, comforting, convenient, and welcoming. I have referred 5 of my most dearest associates for various reasons and Dr. Iqbal accepted them with open arms. I most appreciate the fact that he meets you exactly where you are and moves you forward from there. I can honestly say he is more than a neurologist, he is a listener who never rushes his patients out the door. So bring your patience as he will give you that same equal care, attention, and service. He personally called me one time to make sure I was okay after having a procedure that didnt have anything to do with my MS. I trust him as I continue to battle this very ugly disease. Thanks to his front office staff for being on it even when Im not!

I have had nothing but a great experience at Greenway Neurology Assoc. I was referred to Dr. Iqbal, by my general practitioner due to my history of migraines. Dr. Iqbal has been great at listening and taking into consideration my concerns and needs. He has been great at keeping me informed and with options. He has been great at making sure I understand everything before I leave his office. He has also been great at making me feel more like a person and not just a number. For example, he always ask how am I doing and feeling and/or he would bring up something I mentioned during our last appointment to follow-up on it.

Horrible! This doctor got extremely nasty with me. I had my infant and toddler with me and was told I cannot bring them back. He told my toddler she would have to sit with the receptionist or he could not see me, so I went ahead and allowed her to sit with the receptionist. But I was never told kids arent allowed otherwise I would not have brought them or would have made an appointment for another day. But I wanted to proceed with the appointment so I let it go. Once in his office, he then told me I must not care about my health to bring my kids and that I better never bring them again. I couldnt believe how nasty he got with me. Like who just talks to people that way. I told him he was rude and he said well then find another doctor. I cant believe how disgusting his attitude was. Not to mention it was a hassle confirming my insurance. All in all, this doctor wasted two hours of my time and didnt even address my health issues. I should have known not to bother with this doctor because I was able to get an appointment within a day of calling, his office was pretty empty, plus he has bad reviews on other websites.

While my husband has visited Dr Iqbal several times, Yesterday was my first meeting. He is patient and addressed all concerns (particularly mine as spouse)! Most doctors would not give that kind of time to answer family members questions. He was cautious and thorough before ordering tests and/or prescribing medication. I wish more doctors -- my doctors -- were more like Dr. Iqbal ! I would recommend!!

I was referred to Dr. Iqbal due to having a stroke and a seizure. My first visit was my last visit. He was very rude, and nasty. He asked me a question and my speech wasnt back to 100% and he told me to hurry up and get my words out. As I was leaving he started yelling at the woman that works at the front desk. I couldnt believe the way he was acting. I never went back to him. Surprisingly my new neurologist new Dr. Iqbal and totally understood why I never went back to him. It sad when your patients say you have a horrible attitude but when other doctors say it too, you know its a problem.

This office is so unorganized. There is ALWAYS an issue, cancelled appointment with no notice, change, lateness.... Always something. The technicians, the front desk, everyone. I hate that I was referred here thru accident. ZERO respect for patients time but Im willing to bet there a fee if you were late or cancelled last minute. And the office manager is clueless and never takes responsibility, yet want to always tell you be title. Very unprofessional, find somewhere better to service you.

The reason I gave 3 stars doesnt impact Dr. Iqbal however the office manager is an old bitter non professional something. I attempted to call the Doctor to thank him for his suggestion and helping save my fiancé life. Instead of her taking a message professionally. She proceeds to place me on hold to listen to my conversation and pick the line up and starts rambling about my conversation. Like Really you deserve 1 star. I hope she is ready to retire so we can get some order and professionalism in this office. Good Dr not so sure about the staff. That was one of many incidents that I can mention, bc there are other times where she just did the most.

He is trying to bill me for $400.00 and he never even saw me. He is falsely providing claims to medicaid and he needs to be reported to the medical board and have his license revoked. He thought he could submit a bill to my attorney without me seeing it but caught him. If,you have ever seen this doctor make sure you double check what he is billing you for. Hes unethical, unprofessional and deserves to have his license taken and hia practice closed.

I showed up with braids not knowing this information....once again, time wasted. KEEP SCROLLING AND FIND ANOTHER OFFICE.

I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THIS CLOWN!!! WE WERE TREATED LIKE GARBAGE! He was obnoxious, hateful, intolerable, and disrespectful,. His conduct was very distasteful. He was offensive which made me defensive. He was not prepared for the visit and my mom’s medical condition and treatment was not thoroughly explained and discussed in appropriate language for her to understand being deaf. We did not receive quality services by this licensed and certified professional in any way during her health care visit. On 10/24/2014 my mom was seen at his office. As usual, my father and I always attend all my mother’s appointments because she’s hearing impaired. As we walked to his office I explained to the doctor regarding her disability. He told me he’d ONLY address her. I reiterated that she doesn’t hear at all and that’s the purpose of me being there. I told him I’d speak into my phone and she could read what he was saying. He insisted that I but my phone away and that the session would not continue if I didn’t. Once again, and at this point I’m getting upset, I explained the hearing impaired issue. My mom was getting agitated because she could since something was wrong. He starts to write down what his findings were but she didn’t understand what he wrote. He was only writing words, not sentences that would bring clarity. Needless to say this went on for the next 20-30 minutes. She never understood the results and neither was he patient friendly at all.Since he wasn’t addressing me, my phone rung and I told the person I’d call them back because I was at an appointment. The doctor tells me if I answer the phone again the session was over. At that’s point I’m done with his rudeness and blatant disrespect and I go off on him. He ask the nurse, Ms Myra, to sit in with him and never asked if it was okay with us….what about the patients’ rights? Everything he needed to say he’d ask the nurse to ask me (as if I wasn’t present in the room) because he chose not to speak with me. I had information that he obviously needed but due to his ignorance and arrogance, nothing got resolved and my mom left feeling uneasy and dissatisfied.BITTERLY UPSET!!!!!

I suggested to a patient that was referred to your office to ask if a digital copy of the EEG could be obtained before scheduling the appointment. The patient was told yes only later to learn that you do not provide digital copies of the EEG. Should the patient been told printed results only were provide I would have suggested that the Primary Care Physician refer the patient to another Neurologist. Also the patient stated the EEG results were not sent to the Primary Care Physician and the patient found out during the follow up visit with the PCP that the patient had to return to your office for a follow-up visit with you to obtain the results. This is something I have never experienced. Normally results are obtained from the patients Primary Care Physician. The patients other test results were given during the visit with the PCP.Copies of patients medical records I have been told is the Right of the patient as well as to have copies of the raw data should a second opinion be warranted. If you cannot provide the patient with a digitized copy of the EEG please inform this patient in writing as to why the data will not be provided. Furthermore please inform your staff so they can deliver the correct information to patients.
