I had a great experience. I found the office to be clean and tidy and he follows strict Covid protocols which was very impressive, everything was sterilized. I had a root canal, I had some complications. He made me feel as comfortable as possible, and spaced out my treatments which helped me. A BOLD don’t go. Dr. P Rybak is always running late. I’ve had two same day canceled appointments. Office is obsessed with cash payments. Extremely unorganized. It’s a challenge to work and make doctors appointments. It’s more of a challenge to reschedule. Dr. Rybak is not courteous to my personal time.

Went for my first root canal as he came highly recommended by my father. Like many, I was so nervous and afraid! Dr. Ryback assured me it would be ok, and to my shock I have had no discomfort whatsoever throughout the entire process! My tooth was in bad shape as I had postponed the treatment for so long but Dr. Ryback saved the tooth and I’m feeling great! I know not to wait longer than recommended next time as there is no reason to postpone treatment when done so well and professionally!

I came to this office a few years ago, having odd, unspecified, severe tooth pain that hadnt gone away after work by a different dentist a few months prior. I went to another dentist to get an opinion, and then decided that I really needed to see a specialist. Dr. Rybak took my insurance and was nearby, so I just happened to choose his office on a whim and Im SO glad I did. In hindsight, I absolutely would have paid out of pocket, if need be, for his expertise and skill.When I met with Dr. Rybak, he took the time to listen to what I was dealing with and effectively identify the problem, which was not easy to do (as the patient, I couldnt figure out which exact tooth was the issue) and I could absolutely see how it would have been misdiagnosed and/or another specialist would have done many more root canals than needed. He was attentive, detail oriented, and hyper-aware of if I was in any pain (I wasnt---the two root canals that I got done by him were less painful than any other fillings Ive had, and Ive had many). He made everything so comfortable and easy.Due to my own error and the pandemic, I never had the work finished on one of my root canal teeth and have been, unintentionally, walking around with a temporary filling in my tooth for three years. I recently found a new dentist where I moved to, and she asked me about it and commented on how good the work was. I was shocked because I completely forgot that I never got the crown done, but was also beyond grateful for Dr. Rybaks work. Thanks to his skill and dedication to his work, I didnt have to get unexpected dental work.I have been meaning to write this review for a while but forgot to, and after seeing my new dentist and forgetting about the crown, I remembered and realized that Dr. Rybak, at minimum, deserves the five stars. Wow!! What a wonderful experience with Dr. Rybak. I had a dental phobia due to past experience. When I visited Dr. Rybak I was shaking but he made me feel so comfortable and he made sure I didn’t feel any pain. He had a Christian/Gospel music which made me feel even more at peace. I have a serious dentist phobia and scared to death of dentist ever since I had a bad experience with a dentist over 25 years ago and have not been to a dentist since then. Unfortunately I broke one of my tooth due to carelessly chewing on ice. I had no choice but to see a dentist and he recommended that I go to see an ENDODONTICS to get a root canal done before I get a crown. Dr. Peter Ryback was listed as one of the doctors that accepted my insurance so I made an appointment. I had to see Dr. Rybak twice since it was a two step procedure. My knees were shaking as I was terrified 😨...However, Mario who is the Dr. Rybaks assistant was super cool and nice and made me super comfortable. When I met Dr. Rybak and told him that I was terrified, he told me to leave my anxiety at home as I would feel no pain and leave with no pain. He was true to his words! I felt no pain! Just a tiny pinch...barely felt it when he injected the anesthesia...OMG! He is so SUPER AWESOME! The only discomfort was that I had to open my mouth for a period of time but that is normal. Dr. Peter Rybak is very very meticulously clean and only accepts 1 patient at a time for safety measures....His office is super clean and the music that he turns on while doing the procedures is so soothing and modern. One thing I love about Dr. Rybak is that he is so honest and he really gives me honest answers. His prices are very very fair. I am not just a another number to him. He really cares about his patients. Quality doctor that is very very hard to find. I seriously asked him to be my dentist and he smiled and stated that he was very busy with root canal procedures and did not have the time to take on regular procedures done by a dentist such as scaling and such...If I could give Dr. Rybak 100 STARS, I WOULD! Highly recommend Dr. Rybak. I was told I needed a root canal for a rare tooth condition, in addition I had a fracture in another tooth which needed a root canal as well. Never had a root canal done before, but after Dr. Rybak taking care of me I no longer am afraid to get that procedure done. He is pain free and does his work with precision. I am forever grateful that I stumbled upon Dr. Ryback’s practice at the end of March by Googling “ENDODONTIST Long Island”. I called his office panicked on a Friday night at 9pm and to my surprise, he picked up the phone! He spoke to me for 30 minutes and tried to make sense of my issues as I was in extreme pain & discomfort. I emailed him pictures of my films that were taken by another dentist earlier in the week. He saw me right at the beginning of the pandemic when all other offices were shut down. The office is super neat & extremely sanitary. There were also no surprises with billing. I greatly appreciated Dr. Peter Rybaks compassionate, caring and highly competent treatment in trying to determine the best options to address an active infection at the site of an old root canal performed by another endodontist.The 3D scan that he took of the affected area provided additional and vital information in my more difficult to diagnose case. Previous endodontists I had consulted with did not use (or have) this modern technology that assists in making more strategic and appropriate endodontic evaluations and recommendations.Moreover, the offices stringent infection control protocols were especially important and relevant during the current pandemic. I was always afraid of getting a root canal, due to all the stories you hear. Until, the day I got confirmation that I need a root canal, I was in total shock. But knowing what’s best for my health and I wanted to preserve my tooth. I made an appointment with Dr Rybak.I had an amazing experience, no pain during and after the procedure. Yes, there is a lot of drilling and of course you have to keep your mouth open, but Dr Rybak when it was possible allow me breaks to rest my jaw. I was explained that I might have lots of pressure after, but I didn’t at all. I anticipated for the worst and it was a total opposite. I have had 3 root canals done over the years this was by far the best dental experience I have ever had. I went here on the strength of the Google reviews which is why Im writing this. The office was small but not uncomfortable. The receptionist was pleasant but seemed maybe new to the job. Even the bathroom was modern and zen like. But Ryback was a notch above any other dentist Ive been. Initial meet and greet was positive you get a sense of genuineness with his advice just seems like he gives a. Thats a rare thing to find. The actual procedure went smooth and steady hes very competent and professional. Oh and the X-ray machine was digital not the film kind. Overall I could of honestly went to sleep(no anesthesia) during the root canal didnt feel a thing.

Needed root canal and found Dr. Rybak on google. He drilled a small hole through the covering crown, and worked underneath the crown on my anatomically difficult root canal meticulously for altogether almost 4hrs. My general dentist later only needed to fill the hole without replacing the crown, which saved me a lot of money. She thought very highly of his work!

When one of my friends told me they needed several root canals I knew I had to put my friend in contact with Dr. Rybak after already having a great experience with him myself. He ended up saving the teeth that needed root canals and also fixed a root canal done by an incompetent dentist, which had a lingering infection. Getting a root canal done the right way with a specialist like Dr. Rybak is usually a painless procedure. But fixing a root canal done by a “doctor” that didn’t what they were doing is not!!! So choose wisely the first time around. It might cost you a bit more upfront but at least you won’t have to loose your tooth or pay double to fix it.

I travel from NC to NY for Dr. Rybak. When I went for a routine exam, the Dentist said whom ever did your route canal did an excellent job. His work is top notch and you can trust that he will never do any unnecessary work. A true perfectionist!

Dr. Rybak is truly an amazing dentist! My General dentist had told me that I needed two root canals; however, Dr. Rybak was able to carefully save one of my tooth with just a filling! Also, I told him I was afraid of needles, and he used an incredible technique when injecting the anesthesia that I didn’t even feel the needle go in! My procedure was entirely pain free! I am 100% truly grateful for Dr. Rybak. I will definitely only go back to him.

Dr Rybak and his staff are very professional and considerate. I had a root canal done and was told of all the steps of the procedure and cost prior to anything being done. I am a DSNY supervisor and my dental plan didnt cover the full cost of the procedure and my out of pocket wasnt too bad. Costs vary depending on what you have done but it was reasonable. Dr Rybak has a very good bed side manner and I would recommend him if you have to have any endodontic work done.I had no pain while the work was being done, and went to work the same day.

Dr. Rybak is wonderful, as is his receptionist. He made an anxiety-provoking experience painfree and was great at explaining things throughout, and I really felt I was in great hands. My mother had a serious dental condition regarding two root canals. They were 15+ years old and started to cause an infection. I got a good recommendation from a friend regarding this dental practice and could not be grateful enough to realize how everything turned out. First, when my mother started her appointments, their assessment was very complete and comprehensive. Finally, excellent results, the infection was completely neutralized and my mom has no pain or discomfort anymore.

I just finished my root canal and internal tooth bleaching with Dr. Rybak last week. Throughout the treatment, Dr. Rybak has been very professional and answered all my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend him to all my family and friends if they need a root canal treatment.

I am terrified of the dentist and dreaded going for a root canal. He made the experience much easier for me. Not only is he thorough, he has a great personality and looks out for the patient. I had two root canals recently with Dr. Rybak doing the surgery. He is very thorough, caring and made sure I was comfortable at all times. I was taken on time and treated very well by his front desk assistant. I would definitely recommend him for endodontic surgery.

In response to your response:We see things a little differently. When I called to make the appointment, I had stated that we already received approval for this root canal from our insurance. When my husband showed up for his appointment, more xrays were taken (I also asked if I could have the xrays sent over from our dentist, to avoid taking more X-rays and was told no). After the xrays were taken, Dr. Rybak discussed with my husband how the root is slightly curved, which makes the process a little more complicated, but then assured him that his was not bad at all and that he’s dealt with way worse. (We already knew about the root being slightly curved from our dentist.) After explaining the procedure, he leaves the room and comes back saying he has some “bad news”. Dr. Rybak stated that the insurance doesn’t cover this root canal and would cost an additional $500 out of pocket. My husband was caught off guard and questioned it saying we already got the approval from our insurance. Dr. Rybak then went on to say how it’s more complicated and will take more than one appointment. At this point my husband was already sitting in the chair thinking he was ready to get his tooth taken care of. He was then told that it had to be paid for in full before he started working. Really?! How unprofessional....the whole situation started to feel sketchy so my husband left. My husband went 2 days later and got his root canal taken care of FULLY COVERED by our insurance. If Dr. Rybak feels he would like to receive more money than the insurance pays him, then he just shouldn’t accept our insurance. Don’t deceive people into thinking you accept their insurance and then hold them hostage once they’re in chair. My husband had to miss a nights overtime, got charged a $50 copay and then had our insurance charged for consultations and xrays, all because it seems this office fishes for more customers. A big waste of time and a bunch of lies.

Dr Rybak is a con artist. His staff tells you everything is covered when you make the appointment than they tell you when you get to the office parts of the root canal are not covered and the doctor asks for an additional $500 out of pocket.

I went to Dr. Rybak because my dentist thought I may need a root canal. It turned out it was just a gum issue after Dr. Rybak looked at it. After flossing, I felt better. Great doc. Appreciate that I didnt need the root canal!

I strongly recommend Dr. Rybak for any root canal work. I needed root canal done on molar that had a previous infection. I also have a jaw that pops very easily. Dr. Rybak took extreme care and caution to treat my problem. All was done successfully with no pain. Amazing doctor and very friendly reception.

I came to Dr. Rybak for my first root canal ever. I was nervous and scared because I didnt know what to expect. He took a couple of xrays, did a thorough examination and explained exactly what he was going to do. I barely felt the injections to numb me and I found myself falling asleep a couple of times during the procedure. At the end of the appointment he gave me instructions verbally and in writing so I was able to go back to them when I forgot something he said. I had a great experience with my root canal treatment.

Dr. Rybak is absolutely great. Hes so accommodating and caring when it comes to his patients. I was in a lot of pain and had a huge infection. He put me on antibiotics and took his time treating me to make sure everything would go as smoothly as possible. Very talented doctor, clean office, and helpful staff. I was one of Dr. Rybak’s trauma cases - having been in a very bad car accident, I came in severe damage to four of my teeth with the hope of retaining at least one. After months of treatment and some very successful root canals with Dr. Rybak, I left his office with four of my own beautiful, white teeth. He genuinely cares about his patients and does everything in a professional manner. He will also take the necessary time to do the job correctly and thoroughly. As stressful as the road to recovery was, I have never felt more secure and confident with any professional...would highly recommend Dr Rybak!!

Its a short trek out to Great Neck from Upper Manhattan, but it was worth it to get conscientious care from Dr. Rybeck-- hes the only endodontist who takes DeltaCare insurance who had good reviews, and my experience fits with that of others. He was careful but didnt take an excessively long time, and the office was clean and well maintained. He used lots of different tools and took several x-rays as he worked. The receptionist, Jackie, did a great job staying in touch, and it wasnt hard to get an appointment. I hope I dont need another root canal, but if I did, Id go back here.

I was recommended by my daughter that was treated Dr. Rybak for an root canal. I was in so much pain and he was able to see me the same day and was able to get me out of pain! If youre like me, you probably delayed dental work on a lingering problem because you figured it would get better on its own. Unfortunately that didnt happen for me. So my dentist told me I need to see a root canal specialist ASAP. I was hoping to find someone highly skilled when I was referred by one of my friends who had a root canal who told me it was easy and painless. My friends have always told me of horror stories of their past root canal experiences, which I no longer believe in. When I spoke with Dr. Rybaks staff, they squeezed me in that very same day. He was very knowledgeable, organized, and gentle where I almost fell asleep during the root canal. His staff is very pleasant and made me feel at ease. He even emailed me a copy of my X-rays right away when I asked. Definitely recommend Dr. Rybak in the future! Great doctor. Not to mention, beautiful office.
