Everyone at Great Neck Dental was very friendly, professional and courteous. Dr. Berg was very comforting and compassionate and i feel like I am in very good hands.

I am new to the practice and I’ve been happy with the dental side. My kids have been going to the orthodontist here for years and I’m very unhappy with developments there. At the moment the ortho is only there one day a week so it’s difficult to get an appointment. She’s not the friendliest either. If we were not at the end of treatment we would go elsewhere but we are not about to pay someone else when we’ve already paid here. If you are just starting orthodonture, this would not be a great choice.

My child has been a patient of Dr Sinhas for about 7 years. He is a great pediatric dentist. If this review was solely about him it would be a 5 star review. My issue is with the front office/billing staff. The office no longer feels warm it welcoming. It feels cold and unfriendly. For starters I had to contact the office several times just to book an appointment. I left several voicemails without a single call back. Today my child had her first visit post Covid. The billing staff wanted me to pay for my full visit and submit for reimbursement through my insurance. That was never part of their procedure in the past. They should have communicated they were making those changes. Obviously they arent based off of reviews made prior to mine. When I asked why the staff explained that I am out of network. I know that I am out of network. I watched as one of them manually calculated what I should pay. When I asked why the computer doesnt automatically let them know the fee, she was rude and could only repeat that I am out of network. She continued to say that in the past I always short paid. Correction I always paid what I was told my balance would be. If there was any slight difference they would bill me after for the difference with no issues. You cant change policies without communicating to your patients. If you respect and value your patients you communicate so they dont walk into surprises. The staff member I dealt with was rude and abrupt, not to mention she simply just walked away from me. Once again I know I am out of Network and chose to pay extra because I loved having Dr Sinha as my childs dentist. I already moved away from their Orthodontist services as I had bad experiences with Dr Lewkowitz. Unfortunately after my experience with the billing staff today I will be taking my child away from a great pediatric dentist. The office staff is the face of a business and they are running patients away from great dentists.

I have been with Bayside/Great Neck since my daughter was three years old when they were in Bayside. The old staff was amazing and friendly, they always knew your name. However, over the years the front desk staff has become awful lacking the friendly office atmosphere. I had an appointment back in March, and it was cancelled due to Covid 19, which was understanding. However, no one called to cancel the appointment or even rescheduled but I was getting reminder to confirm my appointment for March. I called in early May to reschedule the appointment for June 25th. I received two reminder text messages and confirmed both messages. Upon arrival I was informed my daughter is not on the schedule and Dr. Sinha was not scheduled to return to work until after July 8th. Mind you no apologies but instead shifting the blame to the old staff. The claim was no one wanted to return to work, and someone deleted all the patient’s files. If it were not for Doctor Sinha, I would have left a long time ago. The new people working at the front desk are lacking customer service etiquette. As for the office manager she was very rude and could not get her story correct was to my daughter was not on the schedule. She told a different family a different reason why their kid was not on the schedule. I was sad to leave Dr. Sinha, but I am so happy we made the decision to leave.

Consultation for implants, you can never find the best and nicest people to consult regarding dental implants. Very pleasant and professional people work here. I 110% recommend Great Neck Dental Associates!

I have been a patient of Dr. Dallal for many years and love him. He is a fantastic dentist and I have always received wonderful and compassionate care from him. The same holds true for the hygienists and other dentists whom I have seen in the practice. However ... the new billing procedures are outrageous. I acknowledge I am out of network but have always been. In the past, I only had to pay the difference for what my dental insurance did not cover. When I visited today I was surprised that I had to pay everything upfront -- over $1,000. I also always received a senior discount but was told that was only for people who did not have insurance and that a mistake had been made in the past. I would have given five stars for the care, but took two away for the new policies.

Amazing practice, Dr. Dallal and his amazing team were so caring. They listen to my problem and helped plan my care. Very, clean, timely and beautiful office. The receptionist was nice and understanding. The new office manager Maryam was extremely kind and caring setting up my financial plans.

Dr. Morhaim is an excellent Periodontist. He informs you of all options and their respective pros and cons. I came to Dr. Sam Morhaim under the recommendation of my dentist so I knew I was in the absolute best and most professional care. If youre in search of a periodontist, I highly recommend Dr. Sam Morhaim to everyone. He is the best dentist I have ever had.

I have been a patient for more than 30 years at this practice but sadly will be leaving.Dr Amoira is FANTASTIC.. Compassionate, knowledgeable , and a terrific dentist however.....since becoming part of the corporate practice, prices are exceedingly high and the front desk staff ( at least the ones I met at my last visit) are not friendly and certainly do not make one feel like a valued client. As a health care provider in practice myself, I would never tolerate from my staff the way they treat patients .While I will miss Dr Amoira , I will not patronize a practice where i am treated in a less than professional manner.

Will never take our Daughter here again. At a routine check up, Dr Abi Sinha informed us our Daughter needed 2 sealants and we made an appointment for the following week. When we came back Dr Sinha placed in 6 sealants without informing us. All of a sudden at the front desk thats when I was informed of the extra hundreds of dollars of payment. We feel he took advantage of the situation, made no effort to inform us of his plotting to rip us off and were filing a complaint to the American Dental Association

Our family have been patients for over 15 years but sadly, we will be leaving. Love the dentists but their new billing/payment procedures where you have to pay everything upfront is unacceptable. For 15 years, they submitted bills to the insurance and we would pay the balance. Now, they want hundreds and thousands of dollars upfront. I’m tired of negotiating with the people at the front desk. It’s sad but I found a dentist that will submit the bills to the insurance and wont be charging a $10 PPE fee. Dentistry is expensive as it is and they are collecting an additional $10 per visit.

I would have given a higher review if it was based solely on the dentist. However, the office staff and billing department are a nightmare. I paid approximately $6700 up front and when they filled out my j stranded they put send check to Mid Island Great neck. The check was cashed April 22nd and I have still not been reimbursed. I have called at least 50 times and emailed I don’t know many times and already received the check my secondary insurance. Now I have to go for a follow up and they have the nerve to charge me $10 for PPR expenses. They should be giving me $10 for what I have been going through. When Debbie was there this would have never happened and if by chance it did, it would have rectified immediately.

Having been a patient here for over 15 years. It’s insulting, unfair, and unsympathetic to pass on a $10 fee to your customers due to the COVID-19 pandemic! I come there by choice, despite the increased costs as compared to other locations. This is not how you treat customers and is quite insensitive, in a time when many are out of work (or have reduced incomes), and are already paying a premium by coming to GND and paying for services that are either out of network or otherwise not covered by insurance! Passing on business deductible expenses to your patients is unethical, when there is no changes to the services received by the patient when coming to your office (i.e. pleased to say that the hygienist and doctors have been wearing PPE for years), plus you have the audacity to want a waiver release because coming to the office may present a risk for catching COVID...It’s the principal of the matter because I don’t charge the dentist / office for the masks and sanitizers I purchase to keep myself and family safe before walking into the office for services. If this $10 charge continues, I will seriously rethink coming back until COVID has turned the curve and find an alternate location for services... Really Management needs to rethink business model and consider if the $10 is worth losing loyal patients...

If I was just rating Dr.Sinha this review would have gotten 5 stars instead of the three stars that I gave it. The main reason for the three stars is because they now charge you the entire bill and you have to wait for the insurance company to reimburse you. This is all now done in the name of a new policy due to COVID. This is horrible because if you are in dire need of an extraction, it wont happen until you cough-up the money first. The office is very clean and the staff is super courteous and friendly.

I have been a patient of Dr. Weiner for many years. I followed him to Great Neck Dental from his previous practice. I travel by public transport from Rego Park in Queens! He is an amazing dentist, he has so much knowledge and expertise with implants. I recommend him unreservedly. He is my reason for coming to Great Neck Dental .Beta, the hygienist, is excellent, she is thorough, and manages to be gentle at the same time.I do miss a smaller office, I find the practice very corporate.

I was charged an enormous amount before I was even seen. When I was finished I was charged another enormous amount and was then told that they do not accept my insurance.The dental hygienist was warm, friendly and knowledgeable as always. The other staff was incompetent, unfriendly and aloof. Since Dr. Tyrangel retired the office has gone down considerably and is not the same qualitythat I knew for over 25 years from when the practice was in Bayside. I will have to reconsider continuing with this practice

I took my twins (boy and girl) in for their first ever dental appointment, theyre 2 years old. The staff was very helpful, welcoming and courteous from the moment we entered the office. The office is very clean and state of the art. All documents, including initial paperwork was discussed and entered electronically into their computer medical records. The hygienists and doctors were great with our kids, making their experience very easy. My wife and I are in the medical field and were very impressed with the level of care provided. Ours kids were smiling and relaxed the whole time. Great overall experience. Would highly recommend.

I have been traveling from Brooklyn to Great Neck for orthodontic care because thats where Dr. Karen Lewkowitz is. She and her staff are the kindest and most caring providers I have been to. Aside from being an excellent orthodontist, she always tries to make her patients smile!

I went to Great Neck & Mid - Island Dental Associates when my dentist of over 15 years joined that group. At first I was nervious about the change but continued to go to him. I learned very quickly that it was not about the care BUT ONLY ABOUT THE MONEY. In July of 2018 when the second very serious mistake was made by TWO of their dentists, that would require another $10,000 implant I realized again it was all about the money and NOT ABOUT THE CARE! Knowing that two of their dentists made a serious mistake in my care and not offering to fix what they messed up it was obvious it was all about the money and they could not care less what they put me through. I will never go back! BTW, I also learned by going to a different dentist for the years I went there that their charges are almost DOUBLE of what everyone else charges.

Dr. Lewkowitz, so fortunate for us, is my childrens orthodontist. We love her dearly. She lights up Great Neck Dental with her sweet smile and her expertise in this field is incomparable. Shell even sing a sweet song to the children when they seem anxious about their visit; it always seems to calm them. I have to say I find her singing most enjoyable:) All of the staff and doctors are very kind and great at what they do. I dont live near the office but it is of no consequence; its always worth the drive. Dont take my word for it; stop by and make an appointment and you can see for yourselves.

Excellent pediatric dentistry. Ive been bringing my son here since he was 2. The staff is very well experienced and do a great job making the whole visit fun and comfortable for small kids. Excellent childrens waiting area, reserved parking and valet service put it over the top. If my dentist wasnt a family friend, I would switch dentists and come here.

Brought my 2 year old for her first dental appointment. She is a tough patient but with the kid friendly environment, plenty of goodies - stickers, trinkets and even stuffed animal being a new patient - cartoons on monitors above the chair; colorful walls and ceilings - she was able to get through fine. The staff was incredibly warm and friendly. They did a thorough cleaning and checkup. Dr. Sinha was very personable. We look forward to coming back.

I was recommended by manager about a year and half ago. This place is amazing! Extremely child friendly. Polite. Efficient. On time. Never feels rushed. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Doctor Karen Lewkowitz has been amazing with my children. They look forward to going to their appointments because Dr.Lewkowitz is funny and makes them feel comfortable. I am happy to go because I know my childrens teeth are in the best possible hands and I trust her expertise. We have only had the best experience and Dr.Lewkowitz is the only reason I am willing to drive so far to the appointments. Could not be happier with my childrens Orthodontist.

My family has been long time patients of this practice (including kids), but we are never ever coming back here again!Firstly, my appt was rescheduled from Dec 8 (appt made 6months ago) to Dec 2 due to an adult doctor not being on site on Dec 8th. I was accommodating and came in on Dec 2nd. Then my hygienist informed me that I was due for X-rays, since last one was taken 3 years ago. I told her I need to ensure its covered and she said it would be since I have Cigna, so I agreed. Then after cleaning, my hygienist was super apologetic and informed me that the doctor had left for the day and another doctor would read my xrays the next day and call me. My problem was why was I rescheduled from Dec 8 to Dec 2, if there wasnt a doctor available during the time of my visit and why I wasnt told up front when I came in. Secondly, how can a hygienist work on a patient without a doctor in office? Then finally during checkout the receptionist tells me I have a balance with xrays, which the hygienist told me would be covered. Its frustrating with mixed messages around whats covered and not, appts being not kept, etc. I am so disappointed with how this practice is run now and wish them all the best. Unfortunately, even prior visits have been weird with doctors trying to sell us procedures that are not needed, and I hope to find a office that is honest/upfront about all charges and respectful of a patients time/appt.Update: On Dec 3rd I spoke with my insurance, which informed me that the dentist office had filed a cleaning claim stating that I was seen by Dr. Nancy Amoia (who I never saw). Dr. Amoia never called me Dec 10th, at which point I have no interest in speaking with anyone at this office anymore!

They dont take responsibility for their own mistakes and make patients pay. Theyre extremely greedy and operate solely based on money rather than customer service. There is no appreciation for loyal and very repeat customers and theyre extremely unethical in their practice on the adult side of the office. The most unprofessional part of the office is the office manager Ansel. Wrong billing. Wrong amounts charged. Prices that are easily 3 times any other office! Watch your wallets!

I have been a patient of this office for years, and have been seen by almost all of the dentists on staff. Youre in really good hands with the dentists/hygienists, everything from a cleaning to bonding is done with great skill and care. The front desk staff is helpful and friendly. I love that the office recently started offering its own insurance plan, as my work does not provide dental.

Plain and simple....Great Neck & Mid-Island Dental Associates have a great team in place. I personally consider myself a difficult client because of past experiences but Ive recd nothing but the best in treatment and service from everyone on staff. I have no complaints. She always greets us warmly and genuinely cares about her patients well-being. I’ve always appreciated her attitude and sunshine-like bedside manner. You don’t see that often when visiting doctors! I recommended her to my neighbor and their two sons are under her care, as well. She’s a lovely person and a professional orthodontist. I’m happy to continue follow-up visits with Dr. Lewkowitz!!

A++ Service and CareI went in for emergency care and found out that I had some serious dental issues. I saw DR. S Morhaim and he asset the situation and we agreed on a dental plan. I was treated with the utter most respect (I was very embarrassed on how badly my teeth have gotten) and was made comfortable with the work that was planned for me.As far as financing was concerned Luisa Cardenas assisted me with a payment plan. She was an absolute joy to deal with. She was very understanding and gave me several options. Given the amount of work that I needed any financial help was greatly appreciated.Phase 1 of the dental work has been completed and I no long have any pains that bothered me before. Phase 2 will be started in a few weeks.I highly suggest these guys if you need a good dentist. You definitely get the service, professionalism, and care you pay for.Joseph Hsu

I have been going to Bayside Dental, now known as Great Neck Dental for 14 years. My entire family eventually came here as well. Since Dr. Grunseich has left the entire practice has been going down the drain rapidly. Last week I cracked a crown and Dr.Amoia took an X-ray and stated It was fine and intact and sent me home. Several days later the crown came completely out of my mouth. Dr. Dallall saw me yesterday and put in a temporary crown and told me not to eat anything sticky. This morning the temp came out while I was eating oatmeal! The prices are double compared to other dental practices and the dentist are always trying to sell you services and procedures that are unnecessary. Last month they told my entire family that we all had receding gums and would need surgery. This month I was told this was not the case. This practice is awful since corporate is now running the place instead of the dentists (the way it used to be!) GO ELSEWHERE!

The office os beautiful and clean, the staff is very friendly and very helpful. I needed an emergency extraction and let me tell you Dr. Montazam and his techs made it so comfortable, He told me everything that was going on. It was fast and painless.

Dr. Weiner is awesome been going to this dentist since it was in bayside, started with Dr Do until she left and Dr Weiner is seriously great. I honestly never have a problem here everyone is so friendly and so nice, billing sometimes gets a little mixed up but its not something that was never fixed. Im 24 now and Id never choose another dentist! Its been my whole life basically at this place.

Ive been a patient for many years, had a lot of dental treatment including implantss, and am very satisfied with Dr. Paul Grunseich and Dr. Sam Morhaim. I am also pleased with Mary Ann my Hygienist, whom I see 3 times a year. The staff is wondeful, and I have even made some friends over the years, especially Barbara. I have had many dentists over the years and this practice is the best.

Dr. Karen Lewkowitz is AWESOME! She is very friendly and makes you and your child feel at ease, however, what makes her superb is her knowledge, her patience and her wisdom on getting you that perfect smile! I am totally happy with what she has done for my son. He had spaced teeth, along with an underbite. His teeth are absolutely 100% gorgeous now!! He gets complements on his smile with the braces on!!! Thank you soooo much Dr. Lewkowitz!!

Dont trust their estimate, that to lure you in. Dont tell your customer your estimate is accurate when it is not even close. A month later, here is your bill pay me 20% more!!!If you are truly sorry, fix your estimate and advise your stuff to give out predetermination.

Literally broke down crying in pain , begging for help. At least to be pointed in right direction for disc problems and lumps in neck that cause chronic pain and insomnia. I can not afford payin a 60$ copay to b seen by a dr for 2 minutes. I just want help i do not want to beg anymore

First off let me start by saying the office is absolutely beautiful! My son came in for a routine visit with Dr. Sinha. The front desk staff was so pleasant, they gathered all my information prior to our appointment. All our insurance information was verified and all we had to do was check in and sign our forms electronically. Dr. Sinha and his assistant Kathy were so nice and comforting to my sons needs. My husband Selwyn Lee had a great fear of going to the dentist. That is why he choosed this dental practice since they had a great reputation of doing exceptional dental work satisfying their patients to the max. Not only are they professional making sure that their patients are cared for properly, they actually take the fear out of going to get your teeth done. Dr. Baradarian is a genius! He works his magic and takes great care in every detail. My husband got the Lanap laser surgery done, which is laser surgery to remove bacteria and diseased tissue from the gums. Without going through the nitty gritty details...this peridontal surgery benefits the patient with less pain, faster healing, reduced risk of infection, less bleeding and overall less discomfort. Costly, yes but oh so worth it if you factor in all the costs of doing it the conventional way. His assistants Stephanie and Denise are top-notched in their field making sure everything is taken cared of properly. Stephanie is especially nice when she walks out my husband each visit telling him what to expect and how to treat every circumstance. She is well knowledged and a true asset to the dental practice. He has also gotten root canals done and he comments that there was more stress worrying about the procedure than the actual root canal. Dr. Svetcov is the man for this job. He is quite skilled in his techniques and yes no pain at all. His assistants work side by side, carefully giving the Dr. his tools of trade and anticipating his every move to make the entire job done smoothly. Sarah N preps everything and makes the process done so well. Often the technicians assist each other and work interchangeably with every dentist so they are really skilled at their craft. Dr. Grunseich really knows how to take care of his patients because on his first visit, drafted up a comprehensive game plan to repair my husbands dental problems that has been neglected for many years. He was worried that it was a hopeless case but Dr. Grunseich was positive and assured my husband all will be done to resolve his dental issues. During his first visit we sat down with a very knowledgeable treatment coordinator named Luisa Cardenas-Torres. Luisa answered all our questions(especially the $$ ones) along with the medical/technical anxieties patients normally ask. She handled it with ease and made us quite relaxed that the treatment prescribed will be in the best interest for my husbands oral health. She explained everything fully and in terms us average patients can understand with diagrams/xrays and even video of the pending procedures. My worrysome husband was eased with the layout of the procedures. Next was the cost factor/bill to be paid....Great Neck Dental Associates was wonderful to help us in giving us a discount for the procedures listed. Albeit that we wouldve wanted a bigger discount but the one they gave us was really appreciated since we understood that most special dental procedures are not covered by insurance. Expensive yes but in terms of what you are getting for great doctors, assistants and overall treatment procedures...ITS REALLY WORTH IT! You really get what you pay for and for great dental care this place ROCKS! Heck, with better teeth you might even be able to chew some rocks!!! :-) LOL

Both my husband and son had oral surgery under Dr. Baradarian last Thursday. My son is 12 and inquisitive and both Dr. Baradarian and his assist. Stephanie were patient and let my son run through his million questions. They constantly checked on how my son was doing throughout and made a scary experience a breeze for my son. My husband had to have extensive surgery, pulling teeth, putting in mesh etc. When we found out that night how bad my husbands teeth were, it was to only be an evaluation, but turned into a necessary surgery, Luisa Cardenas-Torres sat down with both my husband and myself to explain in great detail what kind of surgery my husband needed as well as brace us for the sticker shock. Luisa answered all our questions and was very sympathetic to my husband being upset about the state of his teeth as well as the unexpected cost. The surgery took a while and my son and I were waiting, my sons novacain was wearing off and he was becoming uncomfortable. Both Stephanie and Luisa came out several times to check on my son, brought him ice packs, water and tylonal. They also updated me a couple of times about how my husband was doing. When we were ready to leave Stephanie and Luisa gave us all the paperwork and contact info, plus post op directions with Dr. Baradarians cell number. They walked us to the door and we left. I had to get my husbands prescriptions filled and the pharmacy said the perscription for the Oxycodene was incorrect. They said they couldnt fill it. I was not about to go home without pain killers. The office was closed but the pharmacist left a message. Im thinking who is going to call back at 8:30? 15 minutes later the office calls the pharmacy finds out the problem and gives the pharmacist Dr. Baradarians cell number. He picked up, which I didn;t expect as it was late and I figured hed be off duty. He cleared up everything with the pharmacist and we got the medicine we needed to make my husbands night more comfortable. A tremendous positive experience. Since we come often, my son has braces, it isnt a surprise how great the experience is as the front office is always friendly and efficient both in person and over the phone. My sons orthodontist Dr. Berg always pleasant and all the assistants always wonderful. This experience was a step above an already high standard weve come to expect. I appreciate what Dr. Baradarian, Stephanie and Luisa did for my husband and son, it made a scary and somewhat painful experience, pleasant.

My family and I have been using GreatNeck Dental for over 20 years. I cant say enough good things about this group of Dental Professionals, including all the girls at the front desk. I would highly recommend them for all your dental needs!
