I had been struggling for awhile to find a dentist I liked who took my insurance. I had a family dentist in the city I had used for years. When I walked into Dr. Richters office for the first time, I felt like I had been a patient there forever; I felt at home. Everyone who works there is kind and compassionate. They do everything they can to make sure you have a wonderful visit. Dr. Richter is no exception. On my first visit, he took the time to talk me through my x-rays, pointing out what each shade meant, making sure every question I had was answered and that I was well informed. I experienced the same attention and care when I received my first cleaning there is well. I highly recommend this practice.

This was my first visit with Dr. Richter. He made the effort to come in and honor the appointment even though it was the morning after Tropical Storm Ida passed through the area. Dr. Richter and his staff were very professional and courteous. I am very happy to have found Dr. Richters practice.

Dr. RichterI was experiencing pain in my teeth when I called Dr. Richter’s office after speaking to a friend who was already one of his patients. Dr. Richter fit me in and he did a thorough yet gentle examination to determine what was causing the pain. His explanations were clear and cogent. He made several helpful suggestions. Dr. Richter’s hygienist was exceptionally careful as well as helpful. I found the office staff to be friendly and accommodating. I especially appreciated their help with the paperwork. Dr. Richter gave me confidence by explaining the procedure. His manner is calm & reassuring, as is that of his assistants. During the procedure I was comfortable & pain free. After completion his assistant gave me detailed instructions & told me to call for any untoward problems. I had none at all. The next day I was 100 percent ok. The office is extremely clean & covid compliant. Dr. Richter is beyond expert , cant compliment him enough. Im very pleased with my entire experience & stress free ! I have been a patient of Dr Richters for close to 30 years and I have never experienced the high quality of care he provides anywhere else. I had been treated by a number of dentists prior to meeting Dr Richter & he literally saved my teeth while other dentists neglected to point out that I had some serious dental issues. My gums were constantly bleeding during cleanings & I had been informed that it was normal. For close to 30 years my gums no longer bleed. Dr Richters office is meticulous & he adheres to Covid 19 requirements checking your temperature & your blood oxygen level upon arrival. My first visit back since COVID was extremely comfortable. The office has so many precautions in place. My temperature was taken as well as my vitals before I even stepped into the office. The reception desk is behind plexi glass and every one is in masks. The hygienist wore a mask as well as a shield. She put on fresh gloves before working on me and even changed her gloves before working on me when she needed to touch something in a cabinet. I felt that every precaution was taken very seriously. Dr Richter Was also in a mask and shield the whole time. I felt extremely safe and would highly recommend this office!

WOW Good pricing and I am very Impressed. My tooth was infected and was bothering me for a long time. Dr. Richter treated me with respect and kindness. This was my first time coming to his very clean office. All the workers were really nice and made me feel comfortable. I am not a fan of going to dentists; however, I would go there anytime without being worried. Dr. Richter made my tooth feel better and fixed the problems! He talked to me about what he was going to do and made sure I knew all the details. Also, very good pricing. I would definitely recommend his office to all my friends.

Absolutely Amazing!!!!! I had to go to the dentist because my tooth chipped and broke. Anyway, Dr. Richter was amazing. He was nice and seemed liked he really cared. He fixed my tooth and it looks like it was never broken. I am so impressed!!!!! This is my new dentist. The wait did not exist and it was clean and comfortable. I would give this place an A++++!!

I have been seeing Dr. Richter since 2003. He brought my dental health back from the brink of disaster. Before actually working on my teeth, he gave me an education. He made sure that I had a thorough understanding of my needs and the ramification of ignoring those needs. By the time he started my treatment I felt perfectly comfortable with his assessment of my situation. I have never had a reason to regret this decision. In fact, so conscientious is he that during a time when I was working out of state and could not get to his office for a follow up treatment, Dr. Richter contacted a dentist and made an appointment in that state so that I would not go wanting. Furthermore, his staff is always attentive and professional. In the age of cell phone interruptions and conversations, this NEVER happens with Dr. Richter nor his staff.He has my unequivocal recommendation. If I could give Dr. Richter 6 stars, I would .

I have been going to Dr.Richters for about the last year and half and he has exceptional clinical skills when it comes to performing state of the art dentistry. Very soft hands when performing his work and clear when explaining the outcomes of most cases and honest when it comes to his professional experience on the pros and cons on some procedures. But always gives the patient various that accommodates us best. I would recommend him to any of my close family members.

The worst. dismissive, rushed, going back & forth to other patients never giving his full attention. Went for a cleaning. painful!! when I told him I was in pain afterwards & called his office, he never called me back. I went for a follow-up visit & when I told him I had been through so much he grabbed my purse from behind me and there it on my lap. That was his way of dismissing me. DISGUSTING. His bad reviews on the Healthgrades website it spot on true. I should have believed all the bad reviews & spared my self more physical and emotional pain from this heartless arrogant dentist.

Dr Richter and his dental assistant and hygienist are extremely competent and conscientious. I would highly recommend this office for both regular dental work and restorative work including gum work, caps and crowns and implants.
