Staff and Doctors were amazing!! My questions and concerns were covered and answered. I had the pleasure of having been taken care of by Dr. Burgess and his team. Surgery went well. Apparently, I had the quote of the month. “I rather do this then have a baby!” Lol. Made their day. I got carpal tunnel surgery. My recovery is going well and couldn’t be happier with the results. Thank you all to OAM!

I think he is a great Dr. he helped me out with my right arm surgeries in the past and so when someone referred me to someone different in the office I asked if I could go to him instead. I have a lot of trust in him and his work. I would refer him to anyone.

I was referred to Dr. Burgess with highest recommendation from a physician colleague 20 months ago after a complex wrist injury. I’ve had two surgeries since then and his office has provided me with excellent care throughout my recovery. Although I wish the results were better, he was honest and provided realistic expectations during my initial consultation and recovery. The OTs are top-notch, with special thanks to both Aric and Garrett, for their expertise and compassion. I can’t thank the office enough.

Dr. Burgess went out of his way to squeeze me in on a busy morning after their texting system had malfunctioned making me almost lose my appointment slot. He and his staff were very apologetic and extremely helpful and kind. Dr. Burgess and his staff took excellent care of my fractured elbow.

Dr. Scott Burgess provided a very good explanation of my sons injury, the measures which were going to be applied, and what restrictions we (the parents of the injured child) need to enforce during the healing/ recovery process. We could not have asked for a better outcome.

Okay, just so you’re clear my case was bad, like really bad. I completely shattered my elbow and radius. I was an athlete before this and made my money using my hands, so this injury was devastating. I needed to get my arm back. I had a surgery done before, but my elbow was still causing me a lot of hassle and pain.So I went through the whole referral process to see what could be done. I saw at least three different “specialists” and one of them went as far as to tell me that the doctor who performed my surgery did malpractice and the only option was to wait until the joint deteriorates and then around 50 we’d amputate (this was seriously his recommendation) obviously I wasn’t happy with this, so I tried my luck. Dr. Burgess was my last ditch effort to see if someone would just try and take a risk thinking what could go wrong. During our first appointment he didn’t sound too optimistic offering just to clean out the joint, but then around the winter when my elbow was getting really bad I got a call from his office and they scheduled my surgery.I WAS TERRIFIED FOR SURGERY! I was afraid that things would get worse and there was a risk. Surgery went fine and then I started my recovery process.He has a team of specialists attached to his office who are AMAZING! Brittany and Arik are awesome therapists.It’s been almost three months since my surgery and I GOT MY ELBOW BACK! I’m at the gym right now lol. I can tell I had surgery, but I got my elbow back. I literally never thought I’d be able to have this feeling of extending my arm and my triceps are taking the weight. I have little to no pain and as I heal it’s only getting better.If I would have made it to my last appointment with Dr. Burgess (my truck broke down) I was fully planning on giving him a standing ovation lolIf you are having any hesitations, trust Dr. Burgess. He’s amazing! Thank you isn’t enough. I got my hobbies back lol I went golfing last week!

Dr Burgess was incredibly nice and attentive to what I said. He personally came 8n and seem me for each procedure that day. He personally escorted me to the PT portion where I was fitted for a brace. He explained my options clearly and how he would reccomend preceeding. The staff was all great and very professional. Highly recommend these guys

The practice is extremely organized and everyone is very nice. Dr. Burgess was wonderful and explained my procedure and it was just as he said it would be. I had a 2:15 appt for a procedure on my wrist and was checked out and done in 30 mins. I was impressed with how they were able to stay on schedule. A great experience. At all times Dr. Burgess has provided me with excellent care. He performed surgery and was very careful and knowledgeable about the procedure. He also went the extra mile by doing labs, an IV antibiotic and a referral to an infectious disease specialist when it was needed. Love his staff too!

Impressed by the first visit. Broke my arm. Thinking Im going to a surgeon specialist he would suggest surgery right away. He didnt! Put my arm in the long hinged splint. 3 weeks later bones are moving (as he explained in the first visit) right where they belong. Another 4 weeks in a different position and bones are back to normal. 6 weeks of PT (at home!) Excited that Im done with the process without having surgery!! Big thanks to Dr Burgess and he has a great staff too.

Dr. Burgess and all of his staff were great. Special procedures to combat Covid infection were in place and followed by everyone. Dr. Burgess was very through and explained in detail the planned procedure to address my hand pain.

I have been taking my family to Dr. Burgess for many many years. Dr. Burgess and his staff have always been wonderful with my children and myself as a patient there in his office. Distal bicep tendon rupture left elbow, tendon came off the bone ,had surgery to repair (NOT by Dr. Burgess) surgery failed 3 weeks later,Dr Burgess came highly recommended by another surgeon and he did a great job, he explained the process and from the surgery to PT I felt I was in good hands. A surgery to repair a failed surgery is very involved but Scott handled it very skillfully and I had very little pain (I had a great deal of pain the first time) my arm feels good and is healing rapidly. I feel fortunate to have Scott as a surgeon and if you need his services, dont hesitate ,hes the one you want.

Went to Dr Burgess to see if my arthritic finger joints could be repaired. Dr Burgess did repair my joints. After several weeks, bandages came off and what a surprise. My fingers were straight.

Only spent 10 seconds with the doctor. PA WAS GREAT

I went to see what to do about osteo arthritisIn my hands.I was given excellent individual attention and a 7 point list of how to deal with the pain for now and in the future.I know that my concerns were minor compared to more serious cases but I felt very well attended to.I highly recommend Dr. Burgess and his staff.

I believe that I was a difficult case because I was assigned to him after my wrist had been set and casted. Maybe he would have done things differently had he been brought in right after my fall. I am left with out being able to make a fist, only able to grip more than half as much as the other hand, and two stiff fingers. I do not know what is technically wrong because an MRI was never done. At my last visit I was told we are not making any more appointments if you have more pain or problems call. I have faithfully gone to physical therapy twice a week and always continued theraapy at home for the last 8 months. I am depressed and anxious about this because I am a very active person.

I have tried to get physical therapy prescribed for over a month. Many calls and no return calls or prescription. Horrible staff.

Ive been dealing with pain since I broke my arm in Jan of 2018. Dr Burgess seems like an alright Dr in the sense of if they can diagnose it they can treat it. But I have yet to find a Dr who is intrested in truly finding answers to the hard to diagnose cases. He is no different then the 4 other Drs that I have dealt with. I think they become desensitized after a while to the struggle people in my situation deal with. I try not to take things personally. But I havent gotten a good nights sleep since I dont know when and Im going through the hardest time in my life from pain and stress. The least they can do is show a little compassion and not let me sit in a room for 25 min after their done waiting on someone to bring me my work note. When I went out to ask if they were almost done they looked surprised I was still there.

Have seen Dr. Burgess five times over the last eight years, and everything has worked out great !!

I was treated by Dr. Burgess’s PA, rather than the doctor.

I was refused a local anesthesia on a carpal tunnel surgery and labeled a liar by him and his assistant very inappropriate and unprofessional. Also refused to give me a work note unless I scheduled the surgery. Seemed more like extortion than wanting to help me. I left for a different surgeon.
