Great experience for the whole family! I’ve had many dental issues, and issues at previous dental offices feeing as if my concerns were always pushed aside. This place is a breath of fresh air. They are very accommodating, worked hard to get me in with a difficult schedule. You can tell the dentist and staff care about the quality of work here. They listen and care about your dental concerns. I finally feel great about my dental care. They did wonderful with my 4 and 2 year old as well! Also have very reasonable and upfront pricing. This place is absolutely wonderful in every aspect!

Had Julia today for an exam, x-rays, and a cleaning and she couldnt have done a better job. I had a really bad experience at cherry health years ago and I really dislike going to the dentist. After today it will be quite a bit easier going back. The dentist was quick and thorough as well.

Everyone was so cute and nice.... I seriously felt at home and it was just my first time there! I had to get a molar extracted, and everyone made me feel a lot less nervous. I was forced to look for a new dentist because my insurance switched to Medicaid, and I am super glad this is the place I ended up! Will stick with them for the long run :)

My son had his teeth pulled here as a part of the dental plan they suggested back in January. Its the end of April and the office manager claims she had to submit a new plan, even though the insurance company said that their was never a change in coverage. Its been a nightmare and a run around. He still has no teeth. I wouldnt have trusted them with my dental plan for anything, even prior to this on going unbelievable situation. Buyer beware.

I needed to come in as quick as possible due to tooth pain I was having, and I was very impressed with the service I received. Not only did they get me in that same day, but each person who helped me and worked on me was extremely kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. Great group of people and they are very nice. They fixed my problems with no issues. I was never fond of going to the dentist but I like going to this place. All the people that work there are very nice and take time to answer any questions or concerns. They all seem to have a posative chemistry between them. I didnt feel rushed or hurried. With such great ratings I thought Id give this place a try after moving back to town.After my recent experience, I find their perfect 5 star google rating (which is almost unheard of) HIGHLY suspect.After moving I called and scheduled new patient appointments for both of my children. I waited 2 months for my childrens first appointment just to find out that My Community Dental Centers scheduled the appointment at the wrong location. The only option I was given was to make a new appointment at the correct branch, which would mean waiting another 2 months (on top of the 2 months I had already waited) for their first available appointment. This was a little upsetting, I thought maybe they would have tried to right their wrong but, I decided not to pick that battle.SO, a total of 4+ months of waiting later, I showed up with my kids for their FIRST appointment at the correct location.... At check in I quickly learn from the office manager, Their policy requires patients to respond through text to confirm the appointment or the appointment is canceled the day before the appointment, she said she also left me a voicemail. .... Our appointment had been canceled by their office, yesterday, because I had not confirmed the appointment. 🙄 .... In a world of full-time working parents juggling work AND the ever changing needs of virtual and in person schooling, with notifications all day from spam calls/texts and hundreds of emails... Text REMINDERS for appointments = EXCELLENT! Texts requiring, RESPOND THIS OR YOUR APPOINTMENT WILL BE CANCELLED = NOT great.SO, With me and my kids standing in the office at check-in the only thing she could do was sharply quote policies or reschedule my kids first appointment for a THIRD time which would mean waiting ANOTHER 2 MONTHS (2+2+2= 6 months total wait).Long story short, the first issue was undeniably THEIR scheduling error, the second issue may have been texts I overlooked but either way, I showed up for the appointment at the scheduled time! Was this because I knew their policy and like taking my kids out of school on joyrides to the dentist for no reason? Obviously not. The office manager quickly jumped into ALL the policies and texts that support canceling our appointment, instead of looking into ways to get my kids in for an appointment ASAP. They certainly proved they couldnt care LESS if my childrens teeth EVER get cleaned! Whether its THEIR fault or yours, Theyll just send you to the back of the line. NO exceptions! NOT gonna bend! Your childrens teeth can rot!I would NOT recommend, their priority is clearly efficiency and sloppy customer service over any quality.

From the front desk workers, who were absolutely wonderful and polite, to the one who did my xrays!! A wonderful staff for sure!! And the dentist was an amazingly nice man!! I needed emergency dental care with poor insurance. The entire staff was helpful and attentive. The doctor was prompt, professional and through. The dental team hear saved my behind.

I went in there after not being able to get into my place because of the COVID-19 it was taking me too long to get in call this place got right in had a bad tooth sensitive to cold. Turns out I fractured my old cavity and Dr. Galvin saved it did a great job never even felt any pain coming off the pain meds after it was done.He does an awesome job.

The main thing here is that they accept Medicaid. A lot more Dentists are now days, but I really like the Dentist and Dental Assistants who work here. Never had a problem after getting work done on my teeth and I have recommended MCDC to a few family members and friends.

Wow! This dental center is amazing to say the least. It was my first time there yesterday. They are following all protocols for protection against COVID-19, with proper PPE and more. The receptionist was my first encounter and she was very friendly, took my information (ID and Insurance card.) and there was not a lot of paperwork to fill out. In fact, I didn’t have to fill any out. Next, I only waited in the waiting area for about 10 mins at the most! I was taken to get x-rays, with a dental assistant whom was very friendly as well. I then was taken to the exam chair, where I got privacy (some dentists I have been to don’t have a lot of area between guests), and last but not least, the dentist was awesome! He recommended to have my wisdom tooth (the one that was causing me pain which made me see the dentist in the first place), extracted. He prescribed me some antibiotics and some ibuprofen 800mg. They were able to get me in to get the extraction on February 10th! Not a long ways away at all! I’m so impressed and will definitely continue to return. Thank you!!

I had to get checked quickly for special circumstances and they were able to in-process me and get me registered within minutes. They scheduled me for the next day. I was able to get the check-up and work done quickly. The staff are friendly and sufficient. I definitely recommend this practice.

We love using MCDC. My dental hygienist is always Julia and she’s great. Very kind, gentle, and informative on how to make sure we keep our teeth clean and healthy. She really knows her stuff and is so accommodating to her patients. Dr. Galvin checks my teeth and is great at being conservative instead of jumping to multiple procedures/fillings. To top it off, the ladies in front are such a pleasure to see. Great experience!

I have been able to see a dentist in over 4 years due because of insurance. Today i had an appointment and it went great the dentist and assistants were great! I needed fillings and they were able to do it right after my cleaning so i wouldnt have to come back. I also had a broken tooth and he was able to use filling to fix it instead up removing it like most medicaid/no insurance place would have done. This place is amazing!! I am so thankful for then.

Best dental experience in my 53 years of life!

This was my sons first dental appointment and I have to admit, I was a little nervous. The entire staff was so friendly and instantly put us at ease. We were welcomed in and seen quickly and it was a wonderful visit. The hygienist allowed him to warm up to the experience and he sat in my lap (and even crawled into her lap at one point) We laughed a lot and enjoyed our time there. The dentist was so sweet to us both and he explained everything in easy to understand terms. We cant wait for our next visit. Thank you, MCDC!

I am deathly afraid of the dentist. I absolutely love the staff. For being as scared as I am. I went all the way through with my partials and that ment pulling teeth. Dr. is awesome and his staff amazing. I will be leaving state. But I love them so much I will come back for my dental work.

Great 1st experience at the Grand Haven office. Very thorough and professional! I’ve been in the dental field for many years and have been hesitant about recommending dental clinics. Glad to say I would highly recommend this office to anyone. My hygienist Julia was very friendly and proficient. I didn’t spend much time with the Dr. but he was also very friendly and knowledgeable. Trust is huge when it comes to anything medical and they earned my trust today.
