Upon settling into Grand Haven I was very skeptical that I could find a dentist that would give me the same service I had in Maine. I was blown away with Grand Haven Dental.The office staff are spectacular down to earth and professional. The hygienist is number #1 in my book and Dr. Wood is wonderful. I would give them 10 stars if I could.I recommend if you have fear going to the dentist, you won’t after going here.

I have had dental problems for 40 years. Dr Wood is the most caring dentist l have ever seen. She truly has empathy for my mouth problems. I have never referred any dentist. Dr Wood & her team goes the extra mile to make you comfortable. I would recommend everyone to go to Dr Wood when you need to have a dentist.

I love Dr. Wood and her professionalism. I just completed 2 front implants with 2 crowns to match the implants. I was not 100% happy with how the first set of crowns looked so Dr Wood redid them without a blink and made my opinion her top priority. Her team did not stop until I was satisfied! Great team and easy to work with.

I had to get an upper denture. I was scared to death to begin with. And I also was so afraid of what my denture would look like when it was all done. The procedure went perfectly and I am beyond happy with how my teeth look. They look just like my own teeth did according to my husband and daughter. I was afraid I was going to be embarrassed to show my teeth afterwards but I believe that I will not be embarrassed by these dentures. It is perfection.Grand Haven dental Care is the best place I have ever went for dental work.

I would Give 0 stars if possible.While the office got me in quick, Dr. Wood was rude, I was given a referral for a surgeon to treat some issues from a accident, there was referral for a implant, but no referral for extraction, when the surgeon called them, Dr. Wood office then called me and told me a referral wasnt give because I walked out of a appointment, which wasnt the case, the appointment was audio recorded and over, I was told if there is anything else we can do for you please let us know, then escorted to the front desk and given a paper referral.. but thanks to their actions the surgeon canceled my appointment cause of all of their lies and said I would need a new referral.Thank you Dr. Wood!

I couldnt be happier with my experience here! I have not been able to be numbed for some previous dental work in the past. So I got sick of being really anxious and in pain while having a cavity done and my dentist gave me a recommendation of trying this dentist out. I opted for sedation and what a difference it made! Theres no anxiety or pain. You know nothing while the procedure is happening. I would highly recommend them and plan to use them for my hygiene cleanings as well.

Dr Wood and staff are amazing! They got me in last minute when I had severe pain with a tooth. They make you feel very comfortable in the office and take great care of you. They are very safe during these difficult times. They give you their full attention during your visit and truly care for you and your well-being. This is by far the best place to go especially if you are apprehensive about going to the dentist. Everybody is nice and kind and makes you feel welcomed and relaxed. Great service, Dr. Woods is a great dentist, but the financial advisor is sketchy. Prices change from the paperwork they give you in the back to what is owed at checkout. My wife was quoted 3351 dollars for the whole procedure but ran out of money for the cap 3/4 the way through. Beware dont ever pay in full in advance. Have a great day.

I needed a Crown and cavity taken care of, Dr Wood and Hans took great care of me. I was in and out quickly. Awesome attention to detail and comfort.I had a issue with my crown and they quickly got me in and repaired my issue.

I called a week ago because one of my crowns became unglued. I told the lady who answered that it happens once a year and Medicaid doesnt cover it so I pay out of pocket. She said they dont accept Medicaid and referred me to MCDC...they werent seeing anyone they said. Dr Woods promised to call me in a few days but never did. My tooth is painful without the crown but its going to be my effort to get it reglued.

Ethan had a bad cavity on a baby molar. The adult tooth hadn’t come up enough yet, so he needed to get the tooth out and get a spacer. This is what he told me after it was all done.“I was pretty scared and Dr. Wood helped me calm down. Those other people (Hans and Christy) were very nice and talked to me. I think I shouldn’t cry so much cuz it wasn’t a big deal after all!”Ethan, age 8.

I came to Dr Wood with interest in PST. I left the office after my consultation so impressed that I wanted her as my primary dentist. A few days later I had a cleaning and exam. A few days! Anyone else that I have called is a few months wait for new patients. My cleaning was quite different than at other offices. No scraping or grit. Ultrasound and baking soda. WOW! Both of my visits went longer than anticipated because I asked lots of questions. They all were answered from my hygienist to billing; everyone took their time to help me. They all appeared genuine and helpful. I am looking forward to working with the office in the future and hope these first impressions are correct. Dont let me down Dr. Wood. Grand Haven Dental Care is super thorough and is all about giving you all the tools you need to have healthy teeth. The staff is AMAZING, and they explain what theyre doing and why they are doing it. They are happy to answer any questions and make you feel very comfortable. They also offer a variety of items to make your visit more comfortable, as most people know the dentist is not always a fun place to go. I look forward to my next appointment!Update: Just finished up getting three fillings in, the staff is super prepared and cleaning thoroughly due to COVID, and following procedures. I don’t like going to the dentist. BUT I have to say, this office has been a whole new experience. The staff is professional and kind. There is plenty of ease (and I don’t just mean due to the laughing gas I get because I’m a baby). Things are explained, never pushed. I appreciate the transparency on every level, from treatment plan to billing. Dr. Wood is amazing. She obviously knows what she’s doing, and she has a great sense of humor as well. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone seeking quality dental care.

When I first walked in, I saw the most adorbs waiting room. I was warmly greeted and given a gift and a tour of the office. That was unique and something I had not experienced before despite moving a lot and going to many different dentists. My hygienist was great and the dentist was incredible- very chill and hilarious! I am super grateful that I found Grand Haven Dental Care.

Absolutely amazing! The dental work was painless (removed tooth) and the doctors are very fun people. This place makes you feel at home in any way possible which takes a lot of the fear away from getting a procedure done. They also quote you before they do any significant work which really helps you prepare for whats next. Top notch!

I recently went to Grand Haven Dental to discuss a dental procedure. Prior to the appointment, I had called for costs of the procedure as I had done with other Dentists. After the appointment I was given a cost of the procedure that was higher then what I was provided earlier. When I called to discuss the cost difference and how I explained they were higher than other dentists I was provided a partial reduction. When I further questioned the remaining portion I was informed that the Doctor stated the cost is what it is and that I am not a good fit for her practice and had my appointment canceled. It was further stated to me that their policy is not to provide any cost over the phone. If I was informed of their policy when I called, I would have pursued a Dentist that was more transparent with cost.11/15/18 Update,A couple of days ago I spoke with the office manager at Grand Haven Dental care as requested. During our conversation she was attentive to my issue and I found her to be sincere with her responses. The discussion lasted longer than I anticipated and ended amicably. I’m actually glad we spoke.

I have been having sensitivity issues for more than 9 months. I visited my Mid-Michigan dentist last May, before moving across State, but he was unable to locate the problem and suggested I use a fluoride mouth wash to reduce my sensitivity. That helped for a while, but my pain slowly returned. I could no longer delay finding a dentist in my new home town. I contacted Grand Haven Dental Care about transferring my care and indicated a need to be seen quickly. They got me in the very next day!What a welcome they provided. Before meeting with Dr. Wood, they gave me a tour of their office, introduced me to staff and gave me a small gift for being their newest client. I was impressed with all the extra amenities they provide their patients. The waiting room is set up with a wet bar that provides you free hot and cold beverages if you so desire. They also offer paraffin waxes for your hands, and ear plugs, neck pillow and/or a blanket while your in the dentist chair.The best part though, was the thoroughness in which Dr Wood and her staff took in finding the reason behind my pain. On the periphery there didnt appear to be an issue, but Dr Wood persevered and found a cracked molar. True, I will have to have a crown to resolve the issue, but Im glad that the root cause of me problem was finally found.

Wonderful Experience!!! My daughter is 4 and this was her first time ever going to the dentist. They made her feel so comfortable and did an amazing job being patient and so kind towards her. They are very reasonable and willing to work with you in any way possible. I can say my daughter is so excited to come back bc of how much she enjoyed it. I thanks the staff very much!!

5-star service! I live out of town and needed an emergency appointment; called in the morning and they fit me in and fixed my missing filling that afternoon. I was most impressed with the culture and vibe in the office - everyone I interacted with was generally happy to be there, and had great personalities. Why is this important? Most people (like me) have anxiety when visiting the dentist. They were the first medical facility to ask me, the patient, how I would like to receive information: very detailed, or bottom line (thanks, Hans!). They asked and listened to my concerns (shots!) and adjusted appropriately. Two days later I have zero pain or discomfort. I highly recommend Dr. Wood and her staff - in fact when I move back to the area she will become my permanent dentist.

Dr Woods and her whole staff were very welcoming from the start. Every time I go in, they are very kind and patient with my boys and I. They make sure you are comfortable and not in pain. Just moved to Grand Haven and haven’t established care in town. Googled, called, made appointment, and had a chipped tooth fixed in 2 1/2 hours. Same day appointments in an emergency???? Plus snacks, a pet bird, and cheerful people everywhere. I was very worried about my tooth but everyone was very helpful and kind. Great results too!

I started going to Grand Haven Dental Care after moving to the area and having getting an infection in a tooth. I had not gotten a dentist in the area yet, but had heard good things about Grand Haven Dental Care and they were able to get me in the day I called them. I appreciated that greatly and have been pleased by the friendliness of everyone who works there.

I had gone to this office three times in 2018. The only reason I tried out a new dentist office was because I was extremely tired of the time spent in the waiting room at my former dentists office. All I wanted/needed (or so I thought) was a 6-month cleaning. My first appointment was just a consultation that was an hour long and no cleaning was done. Based on the X-rays they took, I was informed that many of my older silver fillings were cracked and needed to be replaced (I have a history of weakened enamel and got my first filling at the age of 8, so I believed the office). Through two separate appointments that followed, a total of 6-8 cracked fillings were replaced with white fillings. Despite me asking, the office was refusing to clean my teeth until all of the important work was done. During both of the procedural appointments, I was extremely unimpressed with the lack of professionalism between not only Dr. Wood but her staff; constantly talking over patients, talking about vacations/money/other patients, and yelling/speaking loudly into other procedural rooms while their hands were in my mouth. After the third appointment I was so frustrated and starting to question the integrity of the office, so I went back to my previous dentist for a true cleaning, which I just had done last month (its the first time my teeth have been cleaned in a year!). Two weeks prior to my cleaning appointment, one of the fillings Dr. Wood replaced had broken off. Come to find out, the reason that the filling cracked and broke off was because there was an area of decay underneath that she put a white filling over top of! I had to get a crown placed on that tooth two days ago because of her poor and unimpressive work. Im now questioning the integrity of the other white fillings that were replaced by her office. Highly skeptical at this time.

It had been a long time since I trusted going to the dentist, but I was made very comfortable and was relaxed the entire time. Hans was as professional as anyone could be and Dr. Woods was in and out with two extractions in about 3 minutes. I was sure that there would be pain to follow, but three days later, still no pain.

I made an online appointment on a Sunday night for a consultation on Monday for 2 chipped teeth. The appointment was for Monday afternoon, which was fantastic. Not only did they get me in for the consultation right away, but she was able to fix my teeth right then and I was out of the office within an hour and a half with my new smile!! The staff was BEYOND amazing. I chose them for the high recommendations on Google and I was not disappointed! I cannot recommend them enough to anyone and everyone I talk to. If youre thinking about it, do it!!!

Im from out of town, called the same day they got me in. Fixed my absiss that I should have taken care of days ago. They took excellent care of me, all the staff was courteous and fun-loving people. I’m not real fond of visiting the dentist whatsoever. But.....the time had come so as I was looking for a new dentist, I ran across GHDC. When I arrived, I must say I was pleasantly surprised with my first visit and they certainly addressed the “issues” that I presented. I’m actually now looking forward to getting my treatment plan started and on my way to a healthy smile again.
