I left “another “ gym to try out PF. Boy, did I make the right choice! This place isn’t crowded with a bunch of teenagers taking up machines while on their phones. Staff is great, professional and always greets with a smile. I am kind of hesitant to recommend so as not to get our little secret non busy gym busy. Kudos PF!

Saturday I went in to do my work out. Eden was the only person running the show but she always has a smile and is very helpful. It’s people like her who make the experience so much better. Kudos to you Eden for all the check ins and clean up you did, all whilst keeping a smile the whole time. PF are lucky to have someone like you. 😇

The staff is welcoming, and very professional. The gym is kept very clean, the environment is very relaxing.I would like to give a special thanks to Jermaine. He goes above and beyond to help the guest!I would definitely recommend this location.

Beautiful brand new facility conveniently located off of Val Vista and Queen Creek Road. Plenty of parking outside. Only met two staff members this afternoon, both were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They offer military discounts for veterans and spouses too (no annual fee or sign up fees). Brand new hydro massage beds and loungers. There are private changing rooms inside of the locker rooms and because this place is brand new all the equipment and bathrooms are super clean.

Clean and SimpleI like the fact that its not crowded at all at the location I go to. Simplicity is the key. No, it doesnt have classes, but thats fine by me. Its probably why its never that crowded. Equipment always looks brand new and clean. Bathrooms are spotless. Plenty of locker space. I dont have to worry about climbing over someone to get to my locker.

The staff is younger and cannot do simple things. Had a kid tell my husband he didn’t have a membership when he does... called tonight to inquiry about my daughter’s account. She is under 18. I pay the membership.Spoke to Shea, she tells me she doesn’t know how to help me. Said she needed to speak to a manager then she hung up. Called right back and magically no one is available to get on the phone. Called from a different phone and what do u know??? She was available and picked up the phone. Unprofessional.Would rather she say.. hey..sorry... let me have my manager call you when she is in the office tomorrow. Gym itself is super clean and great!! Staff... not so much

Good place to work out if your looking for fairly basic gym equipment. Mostly Nautilus and Smith Machines with dumbbells topping out at 75lbs. This location does an excellent job keeping the grounds clean and sanitized. Staff is helpful tho at times a little aloof. Price is just right too.

I give 3 stars because the gym itself is great! I just moved and had to re-register to make this gym my home gym. Emily helped with that but came to an area on the screen that she needed help with. Kate came over to help, not even acknowledging me and basically standing there twiddling her hair and assisted Emily. Emily asked when my birthday was and I said that today was my birthday. Emily said happy birthday to me cheerfully. Kate, not even looking at me says, year? In just a flat toned voice. So, I worked out and went to tan but because I just transferred it wasnt recognizing me. The girl helping me asked for Kate to come help. She comes over does something on the computer and just stands there, twiddling her hair. She is good at the hair twiddling thing but not with customer. She needs a couple of classes on customer service. Emily was great tho!

I love working out here. Its not too costly, the equipment is constantly being cleaned by the patrons, and its pretty easy to social distance.

I go to this gym five times a week. Let’s just it’s dope. Chill people, never over crowded and they keep this place 🧼 clean.

All the staff members are so friendly and theyre always smiling when I come in the door. Many of them know me by name and that really means a lot to me. Natalie is very knowledgeable and has helped get some of my questions answered when I won free membership for a year. Charlie is so sweet and helpful. He carries my mat for me when I need to do floor exercises.

Just joined a few weeks ago. Love it. Not a big fan of exercising but going with a friend helps. Also opted for their black card and cant say enough good things about all the extras that are included. Their hydrolounges are the perfect ending to a workout.

Dakota was so nice to me. As soon as I walked in Dakota and Jake made my day and complimented me and directed me to the workout stations. They helped me with the machines and are so nice and rad.

Planet fitness is a great place to get your workout on without having to wait for a open bench or machine. I get my work out in and then hit the hydro massage for 10 minutes before I leave. Check it out, you wont be dissapointed. The only downfall is that theres no freestanding bench press , the smith machines limit your range of motion. Other than that I love Planet Fitness!!

Friendly staff, very clean, and nice variety of equipment.

2nd time this week 2 different locations closed early and wouldnt let us use our Black Member privileges even when we wouldve been out before they closed. Locked their doors at least 15 minutes prior to closing and we had to wait outside for a patron to exit before we could enter. Horrible customer service. Were canceling our familys memberships.

Really nice and clean gym to use from out of town!ETA: I think planet fitness should start requiring masks again until people learn to not be disgusting. I’ve seen multiple people walk out of the bathroom and not wash their hands, a couple not wipe off their mat/equipment after using and sweating on it. Furthermore people are still coughing and sneezing into the air. It’s really gross. Pandemic or not there’s no excuse for grown people to not have basic cleanliness and decency. This a review for the members and not the workers. The workers are always nice!

Very clean and spacious. Friendly helpful staff and no sales pressure to join, simple basic membership choices. I’ve had memberships at Lifetime, Mountainside, and The Village, I’m picky!! This place offered what I needed and I feel good that I’m not overspending for the time I spend in a gym. I mostly do cardio so this is perfect for my needs. Very happy!

I was excited to join the gym across the street from my new house. But I was worried about having to wear a mask during an aerobic workout. So I looked it up. I looked up the Maricopa ordinance and exception Bv states masks are not required where not feasible or reasonable. Then I looked up local guidelines at GilbertAZ.gov and they state in their FAQs regarding masks that they are following Maricopa guidelines. The page goes on to state masks are NOT required while working out indoors because it is not reasonable or feasible. And when I reached out to Planet Fitness online to verify, the rep confirmed they are only required while coming and going From locations, NOT while working out. So imagine my surprise when I arrive at this location to signup and learn they DO require masks while working out. The staff advised its due to local ordinance. So I showed them the local government pages that disagree and then they said this is a franchise and the owner has decided. Which makes zero sense. Why further limit your location from acquiring customers?

New location...with well tuned smooth equipment and cardio. Bodybuilding was meant to be this smooth. I highly recommend this facility and staff. Get it!

Excellent atmosphere, I love the 30-minute full-body workout and the black card spa. Worked out, had a massage, had a good time, 23 bucks a month

The young people hired here need much improved traing. Half the time they dont know the answer to a question and the other half, they guess.Now, the gym is closing for 3 weeks for routine somethingorother and it a BRAND NEW GYM! Ive been in the business and ive also been going to gyms for 40+ years. This is NOT..normal.Im beginning to regret quitting Desert Fitnes and coming here. I did it because I travel and they are all over. Ugh...
