Great facilities and even better customer service! I was assisted promptly and with every ounce of kindness that I would hope for! They helped me handle a billing situation and I am so appreciative for their willingness to help me resolve any issues.

I love this gym! I have been faithfully attending for over 9 years. The instructors are fabulous and I am always warmly greeted upon arrival. Everyone is awesome but Matt is especially so. I am surely disappointed that YouFit was pushing everyone to pay thier memberships before year end and they promised a refund for the six months they were closed....5 days later they are closed. I better get my 6 month refund I was promised then. This Gilbert location at Williamsfield and Val Vistas staff will be missed. I hope they took care of them. New management seems to be trying to improve the facilities with keeping up with general maintenance and basic cleaning. The womens restroom/locker room is tidy and the sinks/faucets repaired now. The equipment appears to be in good working order, none of the dreaded Out of Service printouts taped on machines. Its still not on the very clean end of the spectrum (compared to Gilberts YouFit location off Lindsey & WFR), the staff could be wiping things down or sweeping up debried floors vs just hanging out at desks alone. This is NO longer a 24-hour Gym either.

Facility is taking Covid and cleaning seriously and feel super safe. Staff is amazingly nice and super friendly!

We have been trying since April to get our account cancelled. We have moved out of state, and obviously not able to go to the gym since they are closed. They have been charging us full price, including the annual cleaning fee. We have emailed at [email protected] NUMEROUS times. We have called numerous different locations and also called 888-youfit-1 numerous times. NEVER an answer. We also wrote a certified letter to the address listed on the website to cancel. We have never heard anything back from the company. We are still being charged 4 monthly payments. So until you are actually taking care of your customers, dont comment back that you are. SO disappointed in this company. It was never a good company even before covid hit. The ONLY reason we kept going here was for the Kid Zone and ONLY because of Patty and Natalia (WHO ROCKED). We often had problems walking in to the kid zone with the other ones (NOT Natalia or Patty) where all the kids were in the way back and the one girl in there would be sitting facing the opposite way playing on their phones or drawing. Everything was ALWAYS broken. We had issues a few years back where we had asked and filled out all the appropriate paper work to stop paying for the classes that we NEVER took. It took them 9 months to get it taken care of. And they REFUSED to refund it, even though it was their fault for losing the paper work and not finishing it on their end. This place is a JOKE.

Clean and pretty well maintained. Nice because its never packed and it isnt the type of gym where people come to socialize. Doesnt have a ton of amenities, but if youre looking for a solid place to work out, this is your spot.

Very low key. Work out at your own pace. Help and coaching available if you want it. Normal looking people work out here. I have yet to see a Supermodel or Mr Universe. This is not La Fit and I am glad

Love this gym! Been going here since it was fitness works. Theyve really upgraded their equipment over the years and its made for a better environment. Their steam room seems to always be out of service but other than that, this place is flawless!

Doors locked all of April and May but they are still charging me every month. We have spent hours calling and emailing and no one has ever picked up the phone or replied to our email. TOTAL FRAUD!

I enjoyed my experience at this youfit. The staff was friendly and I especially love the fact that they offer child care! I love the staff. The manager is the best! Always making sure I had a great workout. Will definitely make this my regular location.

It used to be called Fitness Works. It still has the exact same layout. Its not an L.A. Fitness. Youfit has more of a community fitness center feel. It has all the necessary equipment that you need for a great workout. Nothing fancy or special equipment, and for $10 dollars a month, I absolutely cant complain. You definitely get your moneys worth. They have at least 40 machines, 20 treadmills, 20 bikes, 3 rowers, 2 squat racks, 2 bench press, 1 leg press, and TRX equipment. Dumbbells up to 200, and tons of miscellaneous equipment. They offer classes, but I dont take any so I cant speak to the price or if theyre any good. They have a lap pool and locker rooms.

Disgusting how y’all keep charging my little brother when the gym is closed and then adding a LATE fee to that as well!! To anyone who’s considering going here, DON’T. I’d suggest signing up for another gym that actually has professional customer service and doesn’t scam their customers.

Staff is fantastic - very friendly and not pushy with the added options and training packages. The whole place is super clean from what I’ve seen and the equipment is practically brand new. It’s also a lot larger than you would expect - from the outside it looks like it could be pretty small. Definitely a step up now that YouFit runs this place.

This Gym is great. It has all the equipment you need and a large floor space for group training.I took the opportunity to get a personal trainer and I must say it works. My trainer, Mark, is positive, motivating, and very knowledgeable about the correct training regimen to use. Mark constantly pushes me during our workout and pays attention to my improvements, making sure to point them out. He also never has me doing the same routine week to week, even for the same muscle groups, keeping every session fresh and interesting.Overall I recommend this gym and definitely recommend getting Mark as a trainer.

Astounded by the lack of professionalism and disregard for loyal customers by the YouFit Corporation. After 3 months of supporting a business who was closed due to COVID-19 (understandable), my husbands membership at the Mesa (Recker) location was automatically transferred to the Higley location when the Mesa gym permanently closed its doors on May 25, 2020. We were not given the option, nor time to cancel our membership as the Higley gym is farther from our house. In order to cancel our membership, we have to send a mailed letter to their corporate office in Florida, significantly prolonging the cancellation process. We are not able to reach their corporate offices or any of the local gyms as they are all once again closed for COVID. NOW we have been charged an additional $49.99 annual registration fee even though my husband has only had his membership for 7 months. I can only assume it is because he is technically now a member at a new location without his consent. Emails have been sent with no reply. Messages sent via their official social media platform. Phone calls have been made with no way to leave messages. After being charged an additional $49.99, I would consider YouFit to be edging on fraud. Truly disheartening that a company would take advantage of people who have loyally supported them through closure by making it impossible to stop their charges.

The Cybex weight-training and aerobic machines are great. IMHO, the best out there. There’s a lot of free weights and other stations available. Not too crowded, but enough people to motivate you. You can’t beat the low-cost membership. The staff is very helpful and friendly. This is a great facility!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Fitness Works! They offer TONS of amazing classes! The instructors are great such as Lisa, Debbie and Elisa! This gym has been a life saver giving me some truly needed mommy time. The kid zone is great and my boys love to go! I couldnt be happy with Fitness Works and look forward to going daily! I Totally Recommend checking out Fitness Works! When you go ask for BLAKE! My husband and I have been working out with Jordan Ramirez for a few months now. We always have a great work out with him. He is a great motivator and is able to answer any question we have. We work out with a large group and he was able to organize a time that works with all our schedules. Working out has been something that we have never been consistent with, but with Jordans help we have stuck with it and become more healthy and strong. I would recommend Jordan to anyone who is looking for a personal trainer.

Fitness Works is a great place to workout. My wife and I have been going there for 2 months and we love it. I have lost 20lbs and she has lost 16 lbs. It is so easy to get results at Fitness Works because you just want to be there all the time. I joked with my wife the other day, saying that we have finally found a good place to go out on a date. Seriously! We use Fitness Works as an escape from everything else. Also, the trainers are awesome. They are professional and friendly. Each one of them knows who I am and have often call me by name to encourage me to continue with my transformation. I would encourage anybody who wanted a great environment and friendly, professional service to come to Fitness Works to accomplish their goals. Just go right in and ask for Mike Newhard or Alex and they will set you up with a great experience.

Mediocre gym. Crowded layout. No area for floor work. Old stair stepper machines. Several machines frequently out of service. Poor AC, which is only good if you want a sauna experience. Youfit does not train their employees well on providing the correct process for canceling an account. I had to request several times to cancel my account, only to pay extra hidden fees for canceling even though I already paid first and last month ahead of time. Would not recommend. A brand new Eos is up the street Bye bye Youfit.

Just a kick back gym with friendly staff always willing to help out. Pool steam room hot tub need a little updating but looks like they are in the middle of doing that to the exercise equipment, all new. Thanks so much for being there.

Got a membership years ago, never never used the gym, I have tried to cancel several times and they are telling me I need to do it in person, all establishments now do this easy steps over the phone or the internet (e-mail), I am very frustrated they are going to make me go out of my way for a simple thing to do, people do transaction over the phone all the time, I feel they are just taking my money the easy way.

Been with youfit for a few years. I loved the location on Scottsdale and Thomas. Ever since coming to this location more and more machines seem to be out of order. Theres maybe 4 treadmills that have no sign, and are unresponsive when you stand on them. Other machines vary in quality. Hard to justify keeping my membership at this point.

I have been training with Mike Newhard for a few months now. I find him to be a terrific trainer. He is skilled and friendly. He makes you work hard challenging you to push a little bit more but also knows your limits He has helped me increase strength in an arm that has had some trouble. He is willing to help in any way and his attention to detail and correct form is impeccable. I would recommend him as a trainer for anyone. Fitness works has been a great fit for me as a gym. The staff are all friendly and helpful. A great place to workout or take classes.

Mike Newhard is a great personal trainer.He really knows his stuff (multiple certifications).He knows how to challenge me with creative workouts.He is great at adapting exercises for my knee and elbow issues.He takes body measurements every month or so.Within one month, I made progress in every area measured.He is the fourth trainer I have worked with and so far he is the best.

I was pleased to find a Youfit gym so close to my home.Youfit allows you to individualize your workout experience. The staff are helpful and new members get an orientation to the various well maintained weight, cycling and treadmills.

Mike Newhard is definitely a Master in Personal Training. His workout program for me this summer was based on my individual needs. I was impressed with not only his extensive knowledge of fitness, but also his empathetic, professional and approachable communication with me. Mike always emailed answers to my questions promptly and completely. I respected the way I could rely on his appointment reminders to schedule in advance and notices of any specials coming up. Believe me, hes a great trainer to have in your corner of the Fitness Fight! Thanks Mike!

Michael Newhard has been my trainer for a few years. He is always coming up with new and exciting ways to make fitness fun and beneficial. Fitness Works in gilbert is my home away from home! I joined about 4 years ago and have made incredible friends over the past few years! Its become my social network! Staff is great and friendly and always make you feel welcome!The classes are amazing! especially RPM! they always help keep you motivated!!!!

I used to go to the Fitness works here and all of the chaos that commenced there has been turned around. It is the same family friendly feel with less disorganization that fitness works had. I am happy there is a location close enough and the amenities are great!

Price is great, love my trainer Patty and the classes are fun. They also have a pool which is hard to find for $10-20 month depending on if you need classes or not. All the equipment is new and plenty of it so you don’t have to wait.

Been going here for almost 2 years. I got transferred to this gym since Fitness Factory closed down. They ended up offering a revised plan for me since I was paying so little from fitness factory. Its 10 bucks more but I like this gym. I go for the free weights , bench and treadmills . The equipment is always clean , hardly any wait . Only complain is the hours on Friday and Saturday. If they would close at 11pm every night that would be awesome. As far as the bad reviews - always seems to be about money or canceling. If your comparing this gym to Golds , LA or mountainside this is a much better gym. Comparing it to Lifetime Gym is completely on a different level. Lifetime you pay 3x more. You get what you pay for.

I just recently obtained a Gympass membership through my work and have been exclusively going to this Youfit location for about a month. My experience has been fantastic thus far and completely positive. The equipment is very new and there is plenty of space. I feel very welcome and the evening staff has been WONDERFUL to me, even as I work through the kinks of the Gympass program and how the app works when I check in. I appreciate so much having a comfortable place to go to work out after not stepping foot in a gym for 5 years.

I absolutely love the instructors of my classes and the classes themselves are great. It’s a reasonable monthly rate, too.My problem is two things. Things like equipment and water fountains will be broken for months and not fixed. They will discontinue having a class that’s been in the schedule for years without warning. Today I went to my regular weekend class and it was discontinued. No warning. It was a popular class too!!

Great free weight selection and tons of machines. Much less crowded than EOS and I love that I can bring in a guest every time for free.

So disappointed in this gym. They seem like they are only there to help people who dont work. As a member who enjoys the GPT classes they offer there and along with others the 4:30 class worked out great for those of us who work and are a parent. Recently they cancelled 2 of the 4:30 classes and told us it was due to attendance, when the clases at 4:30 always have people present. if this gym wants to keep its members and money coming in for their GPT classes they should listen to those of us who cant attend any of the morning classes due to work and cant stay for their late classes due to parenting.

Well its 10 bucks a month, what can I say it is what it is. Old equipment, etc. Again I cannot ask much for 10 bucks a month. I have seen cleaner and better maintained gyms in detention facilities and 3rd world countries recreational centers. On the bright side, they have a Circle K across the street so its easy to pick up a snack and beer after a workout so you get a star for that :) In all seriousness, new equipment is much needed.Update: yep, they got new equipment a week after my review!! The gym has now a different feel, it’s way better. What’s also better is the new sour & sweet gummy candy selection across the street in the Circle K I talked about before. That alone is worth another star! :)In all seriousness again, well done YouFit!

I left that place because some of the employees were very rude and unprofessional. Particularly a sales guy named Riley. This guy would give me filthy looks when I would go in, and according to other employees he would say all sorts of negative things about my persona. I complained about Railey to the people in charge and nothing was done about it. Not to mention one day Riley followed me outside antagonizing me about why did I tell on him. This employee is just unbelievable. And a year later, this guy for some reason is still talking about me even though I havent even been there for a year. I was sent screenshots by a friend of that stuff that recently he is still running his filthy mouth about me. If someone in that gym takes that place seriously, they need to address Riley once and for all. Unbelievable!

Cancellers beware! All the reviews about charges after cancellation are accurate. We cancelled, signed a written agreement and were assured no further charges would come out. We were charged again. Now have to wait several days to get a refund.

A lot of these reviews state $10 a month as if it justifies how dirty and unkempt this place is. There are a handful of gyms that charge $10 a month and offer a much better experience. I can say that as a women working out alone, I wouldnt feel comfortable in this gym, which I feel is saying a lot since its located in a nice area. I hate to give anyone a bad review, but this place definitely needs some TLC. Not to mention they told me that if they were having a busy day they could choose to turn away my kids from kids club, regardless of whether or not Im paying a monthly fee for them to attend. All I know, is if I got dressed to work out, got my kids loaded up and then upon arrival was told they werent going to watch my kids, Id be disappointed I couldnt work out and angry I was paying for a service I wasnt receiving. Ive worked out at a lot of gyms and I can say, Ive never been turned away from the kids club. I appreciate the honesty, but its for this reason and the current condition of the gym that I would not recommend this gym to anyone, especially moms.

As a teacher, I like to spend a lot of time in the gym during my summers. Literally every time I was there there was not one TV on ESPN or fox sports or anything sports related. Everything is on either day time talk shows, shows likened to The View, and soap operas even in the mens locker room (no hyperbole). I shouldnt have to ask at a gym for one TV to give me some sports, so I didnt bother. I decided to cancel my membership instead because the overall culture seemed to over cater to (how should I say this) people not like me, I guess. And thats fine.But when I tried to cancel my membership is when I became particularly disappointed. I let the gym know today that I was ready to cancel as it wasnt a good fit for me. They told me that even though it wasnt August yet, they were going to bill me for August. When I asked why they needed my money for a month I was not going to use, the answer from a manager was essentially this is what we do because its our policy (beg the question much?). The owner happened to be on site so he stepped in and argued that it was actually out of his control because ABC (which is a separate entity) already started processing the withdraw from my bank 5 days prior to the day it will come out of my account (Aug 1st). Im not satisfied with that answer though because ABC is withdrawing that money and transferring it to FITNESS WORKS. So it is in your control, its called you simply refund me for the last month after you get the money from ABC, and then I leave (as a customer with no hard feelings) and not use the facility for that last month anyway.My overall experience has been so poor as it is (Ill add that it is also really hot in there and there are some nasty rubber flooring bubbles right where the squat rack is, for examples) that Im still not going back this whole next month even though I will be charged for it. I had no intention of writing a review (this is the first time I have ever written a Google review) but after today, I would like to steer people away from this place. Good luck, Fitness Works.

Good gym. Only downside really is no courts (basketball, racquetball, etc). Free weights, machines and classes. Good class instructors. Pool is currently being renovated.

Great staff, friendly folks. Recently did a mini remodel and added more space for equipment, a stretching area and improvements to the pool area. They have also greatly improved the number of out of order equipment. Yesterday, I only saw one item that was unusable and slated for repair. The only thing I could complain about is they only have one declines bench.

Love this Gilbert Facility and the Patrons. Fitness Works is truly for everyone and has an extremely friendly atmosphere. Classes are taught to include everyone at every level of fitness (there is always an optional move or two demonstrated to ensure everyone can participate). New releases and new programs are introduced on a regular basis to prevent boredom and to provide so many options. The trainers and instructors, such as Mike Newhard, are certified at the highest levels and are truly dedicated to the success of their clients. They ensure their clients understand both the nutritional and physical aspects to being healthy and fit.

So glad my gym opened up again. They are practicing social distancing and the gym is very clean with staff that greets you when you arrive!!

Ive been training with Mike Newhard for over 6 months, in that time I have made great progress in my training goals. I have managed to lean out my body fat and put on muscle. I love this gym and the amenities they have.

I enjoy the way the staff interacts with members; the staff truly teaches and instructs members the proper way to strength train to meet goals.

I am stuck between a rock and a hard place at this moment. I had received a week free pass. I had used the pass and then signed up for a gym membership. No enrollment fees but then was charged a $65 starting fee (which I was told that there would be no starting or enrollment fees). I have nothing to prove this because even though I asked for gym membership contract, the enrollment rep said they dont give anything like that out. They had then set me up for a body assessment with Carol. I felt that I was talked into personal training sessions. Kyle is great and knows exactly what I need to do to get to where I need to be. My concern is that when I met with Carol, she mentioned the amount of sessions I would need and mentioned one price. When I had called in to try and break the payments up as my financial situation has changed, this crazy number of $2,880 came into play. The only number I saw was $480. 1. I had never received the contract that I had signed (and by the way, you do not sign a hard copy). You sign into a pin pad and they really dont tell you what you are signing. 2. I received a paper copy after having to ask my PT to fax me one. This is when I saw the $2,880 number. The contract says that you can cancel within the 3 day period after receiving the contract. Well when I had received the contract, I had written a letter and put it in an envelope and dropped it off with the contract asking to cancel the PT contract. I guess the only way for me to cancel this so-called contract, is that I can pay for the remaining sessions which is $1,440 and then forgo the second half of the sessions. The sessions are great and again Kyle is a great trainer and perfect for getting me in to shape. If I had known that the total of having a personal trainer at Fitness Works was going to be $2,880, I probably wouldnt have signed up. I received a call again today asking if my card could be charged for the $1,440. If I didnt have the money to continue in the first place how do I now have the money for a payment of $1,440. My Husband is now upset that I was going to be charged $2,880. When I signed up for my gym membership, I was not handed any contract paperwork or receipts. I mentioned to Carol that when she signed me up for the PT contract, I did not receive any paperwork. She advised that she put it in with the block nutrition paperwork. The day I had signed up, I did not walk away with any paperwork for my sessions with Kyle. I received the block nutrition paperwork the first day we had our training session. I will keep my gym membership but I just want to cut ties with the personal training contract as I would rather use that biweekly payment towards paying off debt like my student loans. I hope to hear something soon to avoid further issues.

I have been trying to reach this club for weeks to cancel my membership after the location by my house closed. NO ONE has returned my calls or emails and they keep charging me additional $57 FEES every month!!!! This is fraud. Do not give them your account information.

Horrible customer relations. Sadly, like most gyms, this facility did not extend guest passes to my visiting guests. The staff would not share the owners full name when asked nor did they have literature to support their policy. The rude staff member only wanted to charge each guest $15.00 to work out with me. A polite attitude was definitely MIA.

Always missing bars, its like there isnt enough for all the benches and racks. Completely discharged fire extinguisher on wall. After 3 years I can confirm this place is always in a state of disrepair. Polite front end.

I loved going to it as a gym but unfortunately for me thats where my love for it stopped. I had to cancel my membership in July on the 9th and here we are at the end of October and my account is still being charged. I have gone in multiple times and was assured that this would be taken care of but it wasnt resolved. Then my account had been over drafted because the gym pulled out the money, again. When I went in they had figured out that whoever closed my account failed to close the childcare account so I only am able to be credited a small part of what they have taken out. Im so very disappointed with the fact that I have come in multiple times and no one could figure it out and now here I am with my money wasted.

I been member of this gym for almost a year and a half. It has decent equipment. Good location, you can actually get a good flowing when training hard here. Membership is convinient. You can bringing somebody with you everytime. Supplement drinks at half price. It has nice and decent people from all backgrounds as members.Now, the majority of the staff is nice welcoming, authentic people. Unfortunately, it seems to be a pattern with some of the former and current trainers and receptionists that are try hards, disrespectful, envious and insecure people. I Never had a problem in another gym with this. But, this guys, just try too hard to show off and to pretend to be they are better than anyone else.Also, they dont do a good job cleaning or remodeling the spa facilities despite several requests and complaints from multiple current/former clients.Trust me, you wont get a more honest review than this.

Setting up the contract I paid 1st and last month (for potential cancellation) all in advance. Their classes are a joke: poor timing and cliquish. The pool is shut down completely for several classes rather than leaving a lap lane open. There are extra fees if switching from premium to base membership. Day care for kids was poor and restrictive with times. Customer service was lacking. When I came in to pause account due to injury they require a Dr note so I just canceled but was told that despite already paying for the last month (when activating account) I would still get charged. Then instead of the monthly fee I got charged the annual fee. policy that we can not refundTheir trainers tried twice to sign me up. the free trials were a joke. After the 1st negative experience a second trainer promised to really help me with a work out plane a show me how much i can get out of a gym day. Instead he juggled between me a several other appointments he scheduled resulting in a complete waste of time. etc etc etc home gym for me...

Be careful, Youfit gyms are closing left and right with virtually no warning. You wont see those reviews because the reviews are being done under gyms are already closed up. Youfit will close your gym and keep charging you without your knowledge.

Good place for us older generations. Need to fix that wet sauna.

Used to love Fitness Works, then they changed to Youfit... I cancelled my membership back when it was Fitness Works, and YOUFIT never stopped charging me, still wont, Im gonna have to take legal action to recoup HUNDREDS of dollars they stole from me...I loved this GYM under previous management, I have never interacted with ABC YouFit, never been into their gym, and yet they have charged me HUNDREDS of dollars, does this seem right?

Mike Newhard is the best trainer ever! keeps you motivated and makes you really push to hit your goals and phenomenal information! I Really suggest talking with mike and getting training with him!

They have been closed for 3 months and still charge me every month they do not answer phone calls or emails they are a bunch of crooks when they were open their was barley ever any trainers around and the tredmills were always broken

Im getting so much stronger they have some really cool machines here and I have a really cool trainer and the trainers are really nice to work with and I go here every day

I have had Mike Newhard as a personal trainer for over 8 years and have enjoyed every bit of it! 8 years ago i lost 40+ pounds of fat and kept it off and added 10 pounds of muscle! And I have signed up for another year!! The fitness classes are great with highly motivated instructors.

Great gym! Clean, lots of equipment, very clean, good selection of classes, friendly and professional staff, outstanding personal trainers, especially Reed. Highly recommended!

They have a ton of great quality treadmills. All are in working order and have individual TVs.

I signed up for a one-day trial. I asked them to remove my name when I left. They still called, and it took a secondary call to their gym for their automated system to quit texting me.They have too many elliptical and treadmills. The first and second row touch each other. You NEED to climb over one to get to the other.They have close to no strength training equipment. The equipment they do have is in a closet sized space that feels too close together. Even taking proper rests during squats, I felt like I should buddy up, because guys just stood or sat around waiting. And this was at 6am. I will not recommend this gym to anyone.
