They just didn’t offer me that I actually can choose to do a white crown ! They even didn’t mention it! I feel that I was stupid not to ask about that do I have options?!! Why they treat patient like they said so but remind me that I have more option! I hate them this!

The only negative thing I have to say about this place is that they have this SOMETIMES rule, that its one kid per adult. So if you have more than one kid you cant bring them in at the same time, unless you bring another adult with you, and if both mom and dad want to go to the appointment, one of them has to wait outside. As a mom of three kids whose husband works full time,I hate this rule, but what makes it even more annoying is that apparently theres some disagreement within the office as to whether or not its an actual rule. Sometimes I call and they say I cant bring in more than one kid and sometimes they say I can. And sometimes I get there with two of my kids, after they told me I could, and then they tell me that I wasnt supposed to. Other than that, I love them. The wait time is always real short (were usually out of there within an hour), the doctors are caring and patient, and the staff is competent. If their sometimes rule wont affect you, you should definitely go here.

Horrible coordinator, she acts like an officer with defendant. She told me we may remove your child’s front teeth without your approval if needed, i refused, she said find somewhere else, we don’t care about your business because we are non profit organization and there’s no copayment!!!

Stay away from this place! The staff is very rude and unprofessional. A few years ago I brought my son and everyone was friendly and patient. My son loved it now I don’t understand what happened. I’m very disappointed. My son is terrified he was yelled at for not opening his mouth wide enough. These people need to take classes and learn how to deal with kids. We will not be coming back. I’m going to look for a new Dentist. Wish I could give them 0 stars but sadly you have to at least give one. Don’t waste your time here!

I typically do not write reviews but as a parent, i feel it is important for other parents to know about our experience. I understand that this is a non-profit clinic and wait lists and wait times are understandable; however, most of the staff does not appear to be welcoming and approachable. Been there two times early morning and everyone looks like they are already having a bad day. I had given prior notice that my child does not do well with dental visits. The Dentist lady doing his work was impatient, did not give him enough time to settle in. The staff doing the work should know that not all kids are the SAME and each child needs a different approach but they dont take the time to do this. They made us feel like they wanted to kick my son out of his chair as soon as he resisted. Five minutes into walking in with the dentist, she already wanted to call it quits. After my child settled in and was feeling a little more secure, the treatment was done, but it was messy. She left the application all over his teeth, I think she even got some of the ones she was not suppose to touch! and on his cheeks ( And this was after he was no longer moving!). In addition to this, the place looks dirty and not kid friendly. Bottom line, if you want your kid to have a positive experience first time around and there after, dont come to this place.

My experience has been good. My only complaint is that its extremely HARD TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT. They are always booked and they will not provide you with an Appointment for the following month.Not only that. They close their phone lines for lunch Hrs been trying to schedule an Appointment since December now we are in February 😥 . You cant leave Voicemails even though they say to leave one. If you get to leave a message they wont call you. I guess I have to look for another provider.

Best Pediatric Dentist experience! The Tooth Fairy Learning Center is amazing! Fun and educational. My daughter loves it! I highly recommend this office. They are wonderful! Very fun, low stress office environment and awesome staff!

I don’t often write reviews but this is necessaryI scheduled my children’s appointment one month out just for them to call me 4 days Prior to her appointment saying there is not going to be a doctor in and if I want to reschedule AGAIN in one month. This is very ridiculous! And that’s the earliest they can give me. This is so not acceptable!!

Today was my 4 yr old son first dental appointment here at healthy smiles,I asked my husband to join me because of our previous not pleasant experience at a different dental office.i really want to thank Paty she was just so friendly and her soft loving tone of voice has so helpful. my son did awesome ! Very friendly staff explained to me carefully options for my sons treatment and I was allowed to come to the back with him and stay there the whole procedure ! Paty was so friendly she allowed my husband and 2 year old daughter to step in couple of minutes for my two year old to see what big brother was doing ! My son left the office very happy!!! Thanks to all the Staff there you guys are awesome.

Staff is super friendly and welcoming. However the wait time is seriously ridiculous. They encourage people to show up a few minutes early yet they take forever to bring patients in. Patients arent taken in, in the order they arrive. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment and I have been waiting for over an hour. When Ive asked how much longer they say 10 minutes yet that was 30 minutes ago. The lengthy wait time makes me consider a different dentist. Basically, if your coming in make sure you clear AT LEAST the next 2.5 hours of your day just for a basic 6 month check up.

My appointment was at 10:15am but people came after and their appointment was 10:45am and 11:15am got in before me. Looking for different Dentish definitely... not happy at all.

Dentists are great. Front staff is friendly but unorganized and unprofessional. Bickering and arguing in front of patients. 2:15 apt, 4 text messages confirming the apt and asking for a 2:00 check in. Didnt get seen until 2:57.....15 min after I asked if we were still being seen. Autistic child waiting for 1hr...not a good scene. Then, they insisted I had a 2:30 apt......even with the 4 texts stating a 2:15. Dont claim youre for special needs if youre not.

Brought my little one today to have her teeth cleaned Andrea(red hair) was awesome! Super friendly, professional, smart and great with kids!my daughter loved it!!!! I definitely recommend this place. I can tell Andrea loves her career.

When I take my oldest son, they never let me in because I have a small child with me. The one time I was allowed to accompany my child there was no room to sit. You stand the whole time. There is a check in time that’s half an hour before the official appointment time. Beware if you miss your check in time THEY WILL NOT SEE YOU! so make it on time. Some of the staff members are friendly some are not. They have a children’s room with books, TVs, and prizes for children who have no cavities. Overall it’s a good dentist office. Wish I was allowed to accompany my child and interact with the dentist performing my child’s procedures.

I took my daughter here because her regular dentist could not complete certain dental work at his office. To be honest, I expected this place to be subpar because it is a nonprofit organization. However, if far exceeded my EXPECTATIONS! It was super clean (cleaner than some other dentist office I been too), the staff was friendly not only to me but to my child. The dentist she explained everything to me clearly. Im so happy I came here. Healthy Smiles is a true blessing for any family needing dental care!

I loved this place. All the staffs are so friendly, polite, and so so helpful. The male doctor is so nice. My kids so afraid to go dentist, but after today is totally different. I cant express how happy and relieve I am to come to this place. I definitely recommended to every parents that have little kids.

I just love this place they are all very nice I always tell all my friends and family about it they even go to my kids school to do there tooth 😁

The first thing i am going to say is, i was terrified to take my kid in this place because a was reading the reviews, but was completely the opposite, my experience with my 3 years son was completely satisfied the doctors,the nurses and the administration all were kind,and special the doctors and nurses were so patients with my son and myself because i was completely nervous (even crying) for my son but the only thing i have to say is THANK YOU!!!

Very friendly atmosphere. Everyone in the office is very friendly. Their Dentist Dr. Wilks was so wonderful with all four of my kids. They all loved her and so did mom and dad. So happy to have found this office and Dr. Wilks :-)

Took my autistic son there and the office its self is very un-welcoming. they tell you once you go back to be seen that your not aloud to sit on the extra chair they have in the exam room. a chair that is extra the Dr had their chair and the patient but the parents is supposed to stand the whole time. Also the whole reason I was referred to this office by my son Reg dentist is so he could be sedated when he gets work done but when they do the consult they tell me that they want to work on cavities on an autistic special needs child with no sedation or numbing because the teeth are baby teeth and the drilling wont hurt him. Then when I call to complain about our visit the director she calls her self tell me that the dentist who saw my did want to sedate my son or at least thats what they wrote in his chart . So apparently one thing was told to me and another written in his chart.... and she tried to make it as though I misunderstood what the dentist recommend even though I asked them three timetimes to be clear about the plan for treatment. Just crazy very horrible place for a child that is nonverbal with special needs. After the visit the office tried to rush us out cause my son kept crying loudly and they thought he was scaring the other patients over all horrible experience! Please dint take your kids to this office if he or she is special needs in anyway!

They are always very sweet to my kids and make sure they feel comfortable while doing anything to them

Truly best dental place Ive ever taken my kids too staff is friendly very helpful appoitments are on time maybe about a 10 minute wait or so but so worth the wait my kids never cried when getting procedures done they always looked forward to their next visit sad they only take medical deff a place Id recommend

I was really scared to take my daughter to the dentist after seeing soo many things on tv but after finally attending this place i felt relieved the staff here are wonderful especially a lady with red hair she is wonderful she explains everything clearly... i loved everything about this place the dr was really nice also.. my 2yr old loved the toothfairy room... i highly recommend this place...

Dont tell you the correct appointment time...sitting here for over an hour to find out our appointment isnt until 1 pm. So disappointed.. will be taking my children elsewhere.

Its terrible. It does not make sense to wait so long for a date if at the end they do not respect the schedule. I am in San Clemete and I arrived 40 minutes earlier and it still happens. To another child this happened to me 3 times I will not return there even if they refer me. The doc de san juan. It is the worst of the worst
