Great Smiles is a great place to go for adults and kids alike! Dr. Nguyen is amazing! She is very personable, knowledgeable, likeable, and her work speaks for itself. I have only been going to her for a month, and shes already taken great care of my kids and me. My mouth is numb or Id smile and show you-thats how good she is-I am putting this review out minutes after I left her office. If you are looking for a good dentist--youve overachieved. Shes an amazing dentist, and youre in luck.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nguyens for 11 years. Dr. Nguyen is very personable with a great sense of humor and she makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience. As a 72 year old, I feel confident that she will insure I have healthy teeth and gums for many, many more years. I cant ask for more than that. I am very comfortable recommending Dr. Nguyen to family and friends.

Cannot say enough good about Dr. Nguyen. I am unquestionably one of her most difficult patients. In addition to having severe anxiety about dental work of any kind, I also have terrible teeth. Despite my tears and fears, she patiently works through all of my dental issues with the utmost compassion. I’ve had many many procedures and all have been handled perfectly and professionally. She had referred out when necessary and she always cares enough to follow up. Very grateful

Dr. Nguyen took great care of me last year when I needed some major dental work done. She was honest and professional and explained everything before she started. Today she did a check up exam for my five year old daughter and was so sweet and engaging. My daughter was very nervous but she made her feel comfortable.

Best dentist Ive ever had. This small office does it all, incredibly professionally, and incredibly quickly. I had two upper wisdom teeth removed, and I was in-and-out in 35 minutes and went right back to work without any pain medication. I cant recommend Great Smiles and Dr. Nguyen enough!

Very pleasant experience. I was there for my 6-mo cleaning. I have a sensitive gag reflex and Dr Nguyen and her assistant took great care not to trigger it. I also liked that Dr Nguyen kept up a steady stream of conversation while I was there. I highly recommend her.

I have no complaints about Great Smiles. Dr. Heather Nguyen and her staff are always friendly and Im in and out in good time. I went recently and felt safe. No other patients in the office, lots of PPE worn by staff, in and out in twenty minutes. Theres also a very peaceful and relaxing view out the window where the dental work is done, which is a nice bonus. Highly recommended.

Dr. Nguyen has been my dentist for over 6 years. There is a reason she is my familys dentist... she is amazing. How many people say that about their dentist? She is very patient and explains things to me when I ask and I trust her judgement on what work needs to be done and what can wait. Today she had a very busy schedule but was able to work me in with an emergency tooth issue. Thank you!The above review was written in 2017, its now August of 2019 and nothing has changed. I highly recommend Dr. Nguyen as a dentist. I went in today with a chipped canine tooth from an unlucky fall and Dr. Nguyen worked her magic. In under an hour I had a patched up tooth that looks as good as new. I trust her with my teeth and my whole family as well.

Very easy to get an appointment. Usually can schedule something within a day or two even if its short notice. Dr. Nguyen (no relation) was great and walked me through the process of filling my Grand Canyon sized cavity, something I havent had in almost 30 years, and did her best for me to avoid a dreaded root canal.She took multiple x-rays to make sure everything was in order for the other teeth and to check if there was any nerve damage. Very thorough and professional and the same can be said of her staff. I am new to the Gaithersburg area but am glad I found a dentist where I can be a regular and hopefully avoid any other major dental work with checkups.

Awesome staff ! I was in severe pain the night before I came into the office. I was also hesitant to vist because of my pregnancy. However the Dr. Treated me and my baby with so much care. Good doctor, very nice. The reason for the 1 star is due to lack of communication with pts. Billing staff is not good. She could improve. I’m very suprised she has 5 stars. My whole family never went back to her. Crown dental is much better.

I not only find Dr. Nguyen to be knowledgeable about her craft /dentistry, I think she is extremely caring and has a way to put me at ease with good humor and by fascinating me with incredible memory about the history of each one of 32 teeth from the time I have seeing her 10 years ago! I appreciate theat she gets my feedback before she begins any procedure (even the novacaine numbing) and lets me know if there would be any out of pocket expenses. I would not see any other dentist.
