Lakeforest has cared for me for several years. Theyre always well organized, thoughtful and professional. In the last couple of years the condition of my teeth degraded dramatically, and I needed a lot of help - more than a dozen root canals! Dr Daftari organized the work carefully to fit my time constraints. We counseled together so my desires were factored into the work. He paid close attention to my differing needs as he worked on each tooth (some were harder to numb than others, but he was very creative in solving problems). He enabled me to function normally throughout the process. The results are nothing short of outstanding. Im 71; I have every expectation that this work will sustain me for the rest of my life. And they look GREAT!

What a challenging year 2020 has been for us all! Finding a new dentist was not easy. I selected Lakeforest Dental just based on the shortest travel distance from my house. And it was the right decision! Dr. Daftary is a humble genius who is sincere and honest about his job. He provided the right, timely and affordable advise without pressure or sounding the alarm.He helped me with 2 root canals, 2 crowns and a 10 month long Invisalign process. He is a smart doctor who analyzed multiple options to save me teeth and money. Booking appointments was a breeze and at my convenience, including a few emergencies. His diligent and assiduous staff was always on top of sending reminders, confirming appointments and extending grace time if I was late for some of them. Today was my first visit with this group. I was amazed by their patient centered approach. The hygienist is technically superb and personally warm and joyful. The doctor also provided thorough and thoughtful assessment. Beyond the service component, I like the location.

Prior to my visit with Lake Forest, I had a filling done on my tooth. But, I was in pain, and decided to look for another dental clinic. Lake Forest was introduced to me by a family member. I was told that root canal should have been done instead of a filling. I was impressed by the professionalism of the staff including the front desk. The clinic was very orderly and very clean that I overcome my fear for Covid 19 exposure. The attending dentist explained to me in detail the procedure that has to be done, and the services was beyond my expectation. I decided to have all my dental procedure done by Lake Forest and definitely without reservation I will recommend them.

Im usually pretty happy with my visits to this office, so Im giving it 4 stars. However, today I had a different hygienist and I think she was a bit rough on my gums. One part of gums is still bleeding and my visit was over 3 hours ago.UPDATE: Dr. D saw my posting and called me immediately to address my gum bleeding concerns. He offered to see me right away and gave me advice on treating it. So Ive updated my rating to 5 stars as Ive been using this practice for over 30 years.

Ive been going to Lakeforest Dental for the past 36 years. Ive had several root canals, crowns and cleanings and have never had a problem. Dr. Zaner is very professional, friendly and fast! The whole staff treat me like family.

I was able to get an appointment quickly. The desk staff was helpful. My cleaning was a good experience despite my lack of regular attendance to a dentist in the last couple of years. Dr. Daftary was open to helping me with the issue Ive been having with my bonded retainer. He was able to give me some options and Im currently thinking about the solution. I have been a patient at Lakeforest Dental under the supervision of Dr. Zaner and Dr. Sue more than ten years. Before becoming a patient at Lakeforest dental, I tried many others dental office and never was satisfied with their work or treatment. I became reluctant about having to see a dentist. Unfortunately I had a wisdom tooth problem which needed to be addressed. To my dismay this was a blessing in disguise having getting appointment at Lakeforest dental. I never left after that day. I now live in South Carolina yet I travel back and forth because I enjoy the service I receive your them.

*UPDATED 5/20/2020*Been disable for 12 years with nerve damage, very hard to get out some times. Called and told them that I’m unable to make my appointment and the receptionist told me they are gonna charge me $150 for rescheduling, never in my life have I heard something like $150 for cancelation. There goes my disability check for the month but not like they care.Was better of in the navy when I see how cruel some people can be. They think they won money but all they did was lose a good client plus my family members/children will not be attending that greedy place ever again. They might not cares but in times like this you should value every single costumer. You will care when you start going out of business.Been to better dentist anyway.Enjoy the $150.*Response from the owner*18 hours ago“We do have a nominal $25/$50 (depending on appointment length/procedure) charge for appointments missed or cancelled at the last minute. He was advised of cancellation fees when he scheduled this appointment.”Your receptionist gave me that amount. Maybe you should talk to your receptionist about the late fee. She told me that since the procedure would take an hour and half that the fee would be $150. I know that there is a fee...every doctors office has one. I was willing to pay it...but $150 is ridiculous! If that is not what she meant then she should have explained herself. Also, please do not call and speak to my wife about taking down the review. I am the one that wrote the review not her and no I am not taking down the review.

Dr. Daftary has always been both fair and honest to us which is why we have been going to Lakeforest Dental Associates for almost 20 years. I have had A LOT of dental work over the years unfortunately because I am not blessed with hard teeth. Because of the service and commitment from him and his great staff he makes it low stress and actually enjoyable to go (yes, that sounds crazy I know - no one likes going to the dentist). I love that he doesnt insist on high end fixes every time but rather will discuss the best treatment option or options so you can make an informed decision. Because of this, when he says you need a root canal or new crown :( I know it is actually needed and not just upselling.

Great Practice! After multiple bad experiences with other practices, my wife and I have been patients of Drs. Zaner and Daftary for over 8 years and they are outstanding! Weve both had several root canals and crowns, among other work, that corrected prior problems. They are both expert dentists and very kind and compassionate to nervous patients. They are also very thorough, explaining each procedure in detail and reviewing X-rays and pictures with you. The office staff is very professional and efficient, and they are very helpful in dealing with your insurance. I highly recommend this practice.

I have been a client of Lakeforest Dental Associates since 2006 when I first moved to this area, particularly of Dr. Daftari. From cleanings to fillings to root canals, crowns, and teeth straightening with Invisalign, my experience has been excellent. These people really know what they are doing, use the latest technology, and have excellent customer service. No long waits in the waiting room. As Ive gotten older, Ive needed more complicated and intensive treatments. Dr. Daftary is not only brilliant in performing root canals, applying crowns, etc., but he does so with careful explanations of everything he does in laypersons terms. I highly recommend also their process for teeth straigtening using Invisalign. Do not fall for the commercials that offer knockoffs of the Invisalign custom aligners. You need a trained dentist and staff to scan your teeth and fit you for the aligners; and then to monitor your progress using them over weeks, even months. You must wear these 24/7 during the treatment process, contrary to what the cheap knockoff commercials say about only doing so at night. Its well worth the additional expense to have this professionally done. There is plenty of parking, and the waiting area is comfortable and quiet.

Great place! Had my teeth cleaned by Elizabeth. Very sweet lady first time in ages that I did not feel my teeth were sensitive after a dental cleaning. She did a super job. Highly recommended.

My whole family has been going to Lakeforest Dental for years now. My favorite experiences are never having to wait more than 5 minutes for an appointment and having Dr. Zaner work on my teeth, which were a mess. My last experience was thinking I needed a bridge but he discovered he would be able to save the bad tooth and just put a new crown, saving me thousands of dollars!

Ive been seeing Dr. Zaner pretty much all of my adult life (since 1988!). Rob is the nicest guy with a great sense of humor. His work on my teeth has been excellent -- 3 crowns (all very needed) and a number of new/replaced fillings over the years. Hes got a great sense, too, for when a pain blocker is needed and when its not -- some of my fillings didnt need any shots. The office is very well run, the staff is always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend their Lakeforest Dental practice!

I recently relocated so I used Google maps to do a search for dentists in my area. I fortunately selected Dr Robert Zaner due to the stellar reviews posted here. It turns out the 5-star reviews are spot-on. I was a new patient with a sudden toothache but his office staff was caring enough to squeeze me in on an already busy day for the procedure. Dr Zaner identified my issue as an abscessed tooth and told me exactly what was going on with my tooth and what he was going to do to fix it. Surprisingly, the procedure was relatively pain-free. Ill be back.

Weve been coming to Dr. Daftary at Lakeforest Dental for about 20 years, and appreciate the excellent dental care weve received. In my younger years, I dreaded going to the dentist, as it was never a question of IF I had a cavity, but rather how many Id have! But all that has changed now... Ive had all those old metal fillings replaced, several root canal procedures done, teeth straightened, and been referred for treatment of receding gums. Hopefully Ill be able to keep my teeth healthy for many years to come...

Very friendly environment, everyone in the office is extremely friendly and helpful. Dr Daftary did a lot of work on my teeth including invisalign and I am very happy with the results. The office is easy to get to from Germantown and it is conveniently located just next to 355 and 270. I definitely would recommend Lakeforest Dental Associates to anyone looking for a dentist!

They dameg to my root and i have to pay to other doctore over$6000 to fix my root canal and very poor job and they want me to pay$2200 for not having good job but i did pay them $800 i will take them to court and state of maryland . REVOKE HIS LICENSE , VERY SOON
