Dr. Zaner has a wealth of experience and skill to deal with the toughest mouth. As a 30 year patient, who has provided him with a variety of challenges, Dr. Zaners knowledge, patience, skills, and commitment to the highest standards has greatly benefited me.When my mother-in-law needed major dental work, we were so glad we could count on Dr. Zaner to do what really needed to be done to help her the most.Dr. Zaner is an amazing man, and I am so glad he had the calling for and the fortitude to be such a wonderful dentist to help so many people.

My husband and I have had Neill Daftary as our dentist for at least 10 years. Dr. Daftary was originally recommended to us by someone I worked with. My husband needed extensive dental work, and when Dr. Daftary was finished the improvement was amazing. I, then, made an appointment and found that Dr. Daftary and his office staff are very pleasant and capable. His dental equipment, I think, is state-of-the-art and I have been perfectly satisfied with the dental work he has done for me. I like how he explains what he is about to do and checks with me to be sure I am comfortable as he works. His Assistant is efficient and friendly. All in all, it is as comfortable and experience as a dental visit could be - and I would never go anywhere else.

Ive been seeing Dr. Zaner pretty much all of my adult life (since 1988!). Rob is the nicest guy with a great sense of humor. His work on my teeth has been excellent -- 3 crowns (all very needed) and a number of new/replaced fillings over the years. Not a single problem with any of them since then. Hes got a great sense, too, for when a pain blocker is needed and when its not -- some of my fillings didnt need any shots. The office is very well run, the staff is always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend their Lakeforest Dental practice!

I’ve used the services of Lake Forest Dental for over 15 years, specifically with Dr. Neil Daftary for the last 12 years or so. During this time, I have had several dental issues that Dr. D (as I call him) has helped me work through. Dr. D not only has the professional skills, but also those all-so-important people skills to help his patients through tough times. Since serious dental problems can be financially impactful, he is very good in discussing treatment options and suggesting the best course. Now that I am retired and in my 60’s, having Lake Forest Dental as a resource offers a great deal of reassurance for the future.

I have been pleased and continue to be pleased with not only his staff but more importantly with the level of professionalism and genuine concern he brings to the chair. I went to this doctor because he was charging less for a night guard than my usual doctor. Came in to get impressions done and he asked if i was switching to him. I told him no, i like my current doc just didnt want to pay a lot for a night guard. Three weeks later the guard came in so i went in to make sure it fit ok. Again he was asking me if i was switching to him. I think he was more interested in whether i was switching to him or not than what was going on with my teeth. The night guard fit fine. Two weeks later there was a hole on the bottom of the tooth thats been recently crowned. I remember seeing air bubbles in the night guard, especially in the spot where there is now a hole but thought the bubbles were normal. Called the office and the doctor gave no warranty on the night guard (which is fine but the manufacturer should provide a warranty) nor would he replace it. Skip this dentist.

The bottom line is that Ive been coming to see Dr Zaner for over 20 years. I trust that under his care Im getting exactly what I need - nothing less, nothing more. Pretty much all you can ask for in a dentist.

I came to this dentistry operation and specifically to Doctor Neil Daftary, because of problems with my previous dentist. Inadequate care to the point of his retirement and lawyers being involved. Needing trauma repairs from a 43 years ago accident plus a host of adjustments/redone efforts. Dr Neil guides my dental health pathway and really looks out for my best interests discussing available options, next procedures, costs and likely insurance coverage. I trust his recommendations completely for the specialists of advanced surgery involved (sedation is worth the trouble & cost!)We consider the office staff as part of our own family and enjoy our time in conversations. Just so you know I am a panicked 6 year old as soon as I walk into their parking lot!The hygienist is a comforting and joyful personality, although I dont look forward to the sessions, the overall experience is not in any way painful. In fact, my wife and I share humor and personal experiences with the entire staff.A favorite employee is Dlonni (splg?), Doctor Neils dental assistant. She make the sessions actually something to look forward to and keeps everything very well organized for him. Ive repeatedly asked her to NOT schedule vacations, if I have apptmts planned then If you have need of a dentist and are looking for a quality experience I highly recommend you place your trust is Lakeforest Dental Associates.
