Just left Lenscrafters at Lake Forest Mall, Gaithersburg, MD. Davon’s expertise was really impressive as well as his customer service etiquette. I felt totally confident in making my choice through his from the heart advice. I also had an examination which was impressive as well, all the staff at this location was top notch.

Staff are nice. We only had to wait less than 5 min. They have variety of frames for the kids to choose. Dr. is very experienced and service is very good.

The guy on the counter lied to me about my insurance benefits. I gave him my card and he told me that I have $150 for frames if frames are more expensive I can get some off from this too. I just checked my receipt insurance discount $80 not $150+. This information was not discosled to me when I made my purchase. I would have never found out if I didnt check my receipt. I will never visit this place again.

Very thorough and professional eye exam. Dr. Feldman and Ashley were outstanding and so was Nicole who helped with my daughter’s glasses. The office/store practiced excellent Covid protocols. I highly recommend their services.

Terrible customer service. They want me to have another full exam for contact lenses because I want to purchase a different brand that is cheaper than what they wrote on the prescription. Im not paying for another exam so they can get more money. Its absolutely ridiculous that they wont give me the information needed to purchase affordable contact lenses somewhere else. Go elsewhere this place is only out for money, total scam.

The assistant manager, Poppi, was extremely helpful and friendly. Her customer service, professionalism and knowledge were exemplary.

This place is awesome, very easy to make an appointment. I went in for just a regular eye exam for glasses. I was having trouble with my vision insurance but the employees there (Christine and Poppi) took their time to find it. I was very grateful because prior to this, I went to two different optometrist saying they couldnt find my vision insurance. Poppi assisted me in finding my perfect pair of glasses after the exam and I did not feel pressured at all. She was awesome, attentive and hilarious! She also fixed my current glasses which they do for free ! I highly recommend coming to this lens crafters. The doctor actually took her time in explaining the results of the exam which Ive never had explained in other places. I went on a Friday afternoon so it was very chill. They also close late which is perfect for those who cant come in the morning.

I went to Lenscrafter’s in Gaithersburg with my mom and sister, and we were blown away by the service we received. I very seldom post reviews but had to share my experience. Upon walking in the store, it extremely busy ( holiday weekend) the General Manager Christine and another employee Heather were helping customers, greeting customers walking in and out, answering questions, directing other customers in the store I mean they were on top of it. The manager really took the time to answer our questions and didn’t show any frustration under pressure . Even when another customer had a problem, she was pretty calm and joked with they customer and said “no problem we can take care of this”. The customer was surprised, the employees in the lab were helping customers. This store is very customer focused, very professional and very knowledgeable and most importantly they value there patrons.

This is the best place in the area Ive been to as far as chain eye glass companies go.Kevin in particular was very helpful.

The only reason I did not rate this company a zero is that rating is not available. Visited this location 10 times to have eye appointments and eyeglasses. Eye doctor seemed knowledgeable however the prescription did not work and later her boss came up with a different prescription. Had the glasses ($1300 worth) redone 4 times, the staff kept measuring them incorrectly and then they offered to remake them twice more with the same prescription and measurements, why would you bother? I then returned the glasses. They then offered me to go to the Lakeforest location as they would be better capable, if you are not capable why are you doing this? I told the manager at the Lakeforest location that I would like to try on the glasses before paying for them and she said she would have to ask the regional manager. Its been 7 days and no word, I called her and one of the associates said hold on and Ill get her and asked my name. He then came back to the phone and said she told me to tell you that she had left and to call her in 3 days. I had previously asked for the district managers contact information and was told he doesnt want people calling him. I had asked for the customer service line to the main company and was told we dont have it. A quick internet search of the parent company Luxottica found no contact telephones in the US and no email information at all. I seem to be a gluten for punishment after rereading my review so maybe I should have returned the glasses and written them off after the second remake and thats on me. I would recommend that you dont go to either location and possibly not use the entire company. I am a long time Ray-Ban customer and will not ever by one of their products because they are owned by the same people.

I got new glasses less than six months ago and unfortunately I recently dropped them and scratched the lenses. Heather was very helpful and concerned about the cost of replacing the progressive lenses. The Manager worked with Heather to come up with a less costly option which I so appreciated. I highly recommend this LensCrafters store. Great customer service!If you need an eye exam, Dr. Donna Glenn is a very competent and caring optometrist. She has been my eye exam provider for many years and she is awesome. She offers exams at both the LakeForest and Wheaton LensCrafters locations.

Excellent service in every way, from start to finish. Dr. Homa Julie Niazi is friendly, knowledgeable, and very detailed.Highly recommend.

I went in and got handed some forms to sign and wasnt even explained what the forms were. One of the forms was regarding my medical information and how it was going to be used and shared by Lenscrafters. I feel this is something I should have been informed about before but the receptionist did not seem to care. She even took personal phone calls while I was in the waiting room.The doctor was nice and friendly so that was the good part.After receiving the prescription I went ahead and tried to get the lenses and frames which were fairly priced I suppose but I was told that I would have to take and use the frames that were on the wall (meaning used frames that maybe hundreds of people have put on their face.) I was told there were no new frames at all and I would have to choose a frame off of the wall.So I left the store with my prescription.Overall, I dont think the staff had any interest in helping me and their selection was miniscule. Only good thing about the experience was the doctor. This is not how I remembered Lenscrafters 8 years ago
