I saw Dr. Allen for the first time today and I was immediately impressed by her bedside manners, her energy and her willingness to listen. Not once did I feel rushed and I felt like she genuinely cared about my health. Such a kind and genuine woman. I am so happy and looking forward to many years of care at this clinic. I would recommend this place to any woman looking for care. The staff is kind and they have never been rude in person or on the phone.

Extremely disappointed in this practice. We waited 2 months for an appointment for myself and my daughter. We were new patients because my doctor retired and I was unaware. The day before my appointment the office canceled because the nurse practitioner was unable to see patients without a medical assistant. Then when I tried to reschedule the put me out another month. I asked if I could please get in with anyone at the practice because I need my medicine and again I didnt know my doc retired. They said there was no way. How do offices just dismiss patients and their medical needs so easily. I couldnt trust this practice to keep their appointment with me so I will not trust them with my health.

Dr Allen is quite amazing! She’s kind, patient and really listens to her patients and their needs. She also made my daughter’s first gynecologist experience an incredibly positive one.

Dr. Allen continues to provide the best womens care. She has been my doctor since 2006, delivered my youngest child (who is now 14) and has been so helpful as I navigate peri-menopause/menopause. I highly recommend her and her staff.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Allen for over 4 years now and I just love her! Bedside manner is awesome, she cares about your well being and keeps it 100% with you at all times. Dr. Allen has been my OB for over 7 years. She has delivered all of my babies, I have had all healthy pregnancies and deliveries under Dr. Allens care. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient and most of all she is kind. It is so important to have a doctor who you have a connection with and who you can trust, Dr. Allen is all above!!! REVIEW OF MY EXPERIENCE OR LACK THEREOF WITH SCHEDULING, NOT DR ALLEN. I just recently found out that I was pregnant, my OB is closing her practice so Ive scrambled to find someone else. The referrals from my Old Dr had mixed reviews so I decided not to use them. I came across Jennifer Allen, I was so excited, reviews are great, she looks like me and I couldnt wait to book an appointment. I requested an appointment online, waited a few days, Im not a pushy person, but no call back. I decided to call, got transferred to scheduling but got VM, I left a detailed message, but still no return call back. They requested not to call and leave multiple messages so Im not sure if thats why they havent called me back, but its been almost 3 week now so.. hopefully they do!

Had a 10:30am appointment. The nurse who brought me back rushed through my intake and then I sat in the office for an hour before deciding to leave. I understand things come up but there was absolutely no communication.

I researched to find the best Dr that also looked like me. The minute I met her I was at ease, I felt like I could be myself. She is fun and loving, yet very knowledgeable in her practice.

Dr. Allen is very thoughtful, charismatic, and easy to talk to! She is very attentive and takes the time to help find the best solution for her patients. I was very nervous to switch ob/gyns but I am glad I did!

At first I was concerned that this was going to be another rushed visit because in the first few minutes I felt like the nurse was rushing me/things, then I sat in the exam room almost an hour past my visit without anyone checking in on me, however once Dr. Allen came into the room I was glad I stayed. I’m very disappointed with the scheduling process. I was told to leave a message w/ the scheduling coordinator and never received a call back. When I called again attempting to set an appointment, I was left on hold. This is super frustrating as I was looking forward to seeing Dr. Allen because of the positive feedback I’d received about her patient care. Sadly, no one has called me back as of yet to make the appointment.

I’m currently sitting in the hospital holding out 2nd one delivered by Dr Allen. She’s made both experiences great despite some challenges that were presented. She’s very good, has so much empathy for everyone involved, and is very personable. Yes they have a typical busy doctors office and she’s in high demand. If we have another kid we’ll be back !

If you want great care and concern for your unique needs, this is the doctor. If you need immediate service, go to someone else. Dr. Allen wont rush patients and doesnt overbook her schedule. (One doctor cant deliver everyones babies.) I expect a wait, but know at delivery time, she will be there. She treated me through six pregnancy and avoided a c-section on one delivery when the baby went into fetal distress. She is talented, experienced and patient. No delivery is the same, but she keeps her focus on safely bringing each of my children into the world. Thank you!Note: Aug 2018 my little five-year-old daughter, without warning, threw up in the waiting room. The office staff were amazing and helping her while getting everything appropriately cleaned up immediately. The staff went above and beyond.

Dr Allen makes my experience going to the ob/gyn a very pleasant one. She take time to discuss everything you ask and is knowledgeable. It feels like visiting with a sister about personal matters. I love her!!

I LOVE DR. ALLEN! She is so nice and sweet. Very understanding of everything I wanted, never have had an issue with her! Sometimes she runs late, but I know that she spends time with her patients and in my opinion is worth the wait. I have had my last two children with her and am 6 months along with this pregnancy, and its great to know you have a doctor that is with you every step of the way!

Ive seen Dr. Allen for 15 years (basically since I moved to Texas) and cant imagine having another doctor! She came to the hospital at 2am to deliver my son on a night she wasnt even on call. She goes above and beyond and then some. She makes you feel at ease with her amazing personality. Like your talking to a friend, instead of a physician. Ive been in the healthcare field for a very long time and I have to say, she is one of the best!

Amazing Doctor she always took her time when examining me answered all my questions and even answered all of the questions my family asked. Took so much care of me and my little one she also took many extra precautions seeing that I was a special age. She is amazing!!

We have not been seen by this Dr but her staff sucks for lack of a better term. My Wife had an appointment set up for today and had to cancel last minute. When they called to reschedule we were told they could not get her in for a pap until 4 months from now. They then said the appointment scheduled was not even for a pap which it was supposed to be. Too bad because the DR came highly reviewed but needs a better office staff.

Very disappointed. The only reason we been going to this doctor is its right next to my house. She is always *ALWAYS * late to her appointments by 1 hour. Also She does not take immediate appointments. We got to wait for at least 3 weeks for appointment.My wife first delivery was with this doctor and she was not prompt on the delivery process and it took 36 painful hours after induction. Terrible doctor!!I dont recommend at all. We going to see a different doctor.

I wanted a natural birth. I was healthy, baby was healthy. Perfect pregnancy. I gave Dr. Allen my birth plan and she said we could do it. But when labor started, she started doing interventions, just the opposite of my desires. She completely BULLIED me. She towered over me and threatened that she had contacted her attorney to get off my case. Trying to use any tactic she could to get me to submit to her. My baby was GREAT, no issues! She ended up doing a c-section on me AGAINST MY WILL. Shes a butcher! Please find a good midwife and exit the medical model. Birth is not a medical procedure! OB/ GYNS have gotten so far lost. They dont even know what natural birth is anymore. Our poor babies are being medicated (with no proven safety studies!), and their umbilical cords are being cut, depriving them of their very OWN blood that they NEED!!! i had to learn the hard way after Dr. Allen butchered me against my will. Now I speak to women about what true childbirth should be.

I was very disappointed when I called to set up my first appointment. I am 8 weeks 1 day today. I was told I am TOO FAR ALONG to be a new patient! I was shocked. So new moms.... warning that they will not accept you unless you are 7 weeks or less. I found out at 5 weeks but was told by my GP that many doctors will not even see you until 10 to 12 weeks... so I have been impatiently waiting to get further along to set up my appointment just to get denied for being too far along. I asked if I could not ever be a patient here and the response was not during this pregnancy. Completely disappointed.

This doctor is good and skillful. the biggest problem is we have to wait at least one hour after we were seated in the check up room EVERY TIME for almost 9 months. I understand Doctors are busy and can get emergency.... But this doctor is ALWAYS late to appointment. Its really frustrating. We have our first baby with her. We are never coming back to her again.I dont recommend especially for pregnancy related regular visit patients.

(Potential new patient review) Office staff is terrible . Made an appointment to see the doctor , but due to terrible customer service I had to cancel . Tone matters, details matter. Received several missed calls and no voice messages . The person I spoke with over the phone was simply rude . There are too many providers in the area to deal with terrible customer service . You deal with the office staff more than the actual doctor , why shouldn’t they be held to such a standard .

Called and tried to make an appt to see Dr Allen.Spoke w a girl named Keisha and she was not helpful at all. Very rude on the phone. I tried to ask her a few questions and her answer was either uhuh or no. I have seen Dr Allen when she was in Mckinney and would like to see her again. Unfortunately the starting point is on the phone w the front desk and sounds to me they dont like their jobs.Due to receptionist not eager to help and sound dead on the phone. I will pass and look some place else.
