Disappointed. I haven’t been to Dr.Harper in a couple years. I finally decided to go see her because I’m having pains. They were too far scheduled out I ended up going to the ER a couple days later. I called them to set up a future appointment 2-3 weeks ahead. They said Dr. Harper wouldn’t be there herself but her nurse would be and she could help me and I was cool with that. I scheduled off. They just called me the day before to tell me no one can help me tomorrow. It’s so disappointing.

Similar experience with Sangita on this page.Dr. Harper was really nice during our visits. She gave us a lot of small motivational talks about natural delivery and how her deliveries were just OK. Staff was nice although they were borderline rude when the conversation was about billing/payments but at the end it all seemed like they knew what they were doing. On the night of delivery, although we insisted her to be there with us, all our requests to nurses were returned with “Dr Harper is out, she won’t be able to come and we have to deal with the doctor on call”. We had babies before and it is unlikely doctors will delivery every day. This was the most important event of the day and we were told she had left office at 5PM so she won’t be able to come back.What is the point if Dr who spent 6 months of pregnancy with the family won’t be there during delivery? It was completely creepy and beat the whole purpose of paying Dr. Harper.

Dr Harper is awesome. She is always thorough and never seems in a hurry, even though I know she has a room full of waiting patients. She answers all questions thoroughly and makes me feel comfortable. Also, shes AWESOME in the delivery room. With my second baby I ended up going into labor the ONE day a week that shes off, but with my first, she was so awesome in the delivery room, cheering me on the entire time. Yes, her staff up front can sometimes come off rude, but the doctor is the most important part for me.

Dr Harper is a very understanding and caring doctor, she took care of me through out the pregnancy, we hoped that she should deliver and she came for my delivery, every thing went so smooth, I appreciate all the effort and care that went in this, she is a very experienced doctor, and very few doctors are like her.

I can’t say enough about Dr.Harper! She made everything so smooth during my delivery and has the best bed side manner! Her staff is great too!

I am glad that I chose Dr. Harper as my ObGyn after going through all the online reviews and followed my instincts. She made my pregnancy and delivery so smooth. Initially I had some doubts in my mind as it was my first baby and I used to have many questions in mind to which she used to respond in humorous ways however as I progressed through my pregnancy, I realized that she is always smiling, very active, true and straight forward with her patients and makes sure that they exercise properly and stays fit for delivery. For me, labor didnt start naturally till my due date and that was the most stressful time for me in my entire pregnancy however Dr. Harper kept close eye on my progress in last two weeks and finally suggested for an induction. During delivery as well there were few complications however Dr. Harper was always calm and made sure that I was doing okay. She never made a big deal out of the last minute complications and delivered my baby with such an ease without letting me know about the complications that occurred last minute. She will always look for your convenience and will also let you know that at times she might be available on call to avoid last minute surprises. I highly recommend her for her kind nature and excellent skills !!

I choose Dr. Elise Harper for my pregnancy after looking into good reviews but I regret the decision now. Anyone who is pregnant looks for a good doctor so she can have a smooth delivery. Dr Elise Harper was on call during the night of my delivery. Nurse who was working on my delivery told us that I was fully diluted and ready to deliver baby at 5 Am. Then she went to call Dr. Elise Harper who was on call. But the nurse came back and said that she has directed to leave as it is for 1 hour to see if the baby comes out on its own. Are you kidding me? Its my first baby and how is the baby going to come on its own. Then there was still no sign of doctors coming to the hospital. At 7 Am nurse shift changed and another nurse came and we asked her about the doctor she went made a call and came back and said that Dr. Harper is out for the day now so another in house doctor will be delivering the baby. What a Luxury!! I immediately went on a panic mode, because I was expecting Dr Harper on the delivery and not sure if I can trust in house doctor. Finally, doctor showed up at 9 Am. Baby was ready to come out at 5 Am but delivery started at 9 Am. This had caused lot of distress for baby and baby had inhaled whole lot of liquids and other stuffs due to delayed delivery. This caused a severe respiratory issues on baby. Due to this negligence baby had to spend about 6 days in NICU and we went through lot of stress. And now we are dealing with medical bills of more than $8K, which was supposed to be only $1500.She might be a good doctor but she is overly booked and is not able to pay attention and detail to her patients. And what is the purpose of choosing a good doctor if he/she cant be available on your delivery and shows negligence. So, I would strongly recommend to think twice and choose your doctor wisely.

Dr. Elise was my wifes Gynecologist and she helped deliver my daughter. We approached Dr. Elise after seeing many positive reviews in multiple websites. But now I regret my decision. There were few negligences during labor by Hospital staffs (nurse, anesthesiologist) and also by Dr. Harper. My wife had to go through over dosage of wrong medicine and was also misdiagnosed during Postpartum complications. (A good doctor would have definitely got it right in the first place).

While Dr Harper is a kind physician, her billing staff, particularly Barbara, is impatient, rude and unwilling to listen. I was told on 3 separate occasions by Dr Harper’s staff that she is in-network with my insurance company. Two weeks after my appointment, I received a bill for the full amount of the visit. When I contacted Barbara, she advised that Dr Harper does not accept my insurance. Why was I told on 3 separate occasions by her staff, including the day of my appointment, that she is? Barbara blamed it on the front desk staff and my insurance company.Beware of Dr Harper’s billing practices. Barbara is not a credit to Dr Harper. Thanks to her incredibly rude billing staff, I will be changing doctors.

My experience was 3.5 years ago and Im still angry about it. Ive gone back and forth since my appointment on if I should leave a review or not but Id hate for the same thing to happen to someone else. I waited patiently to schedule my appointment until Id be enough weeks along to hear my babys heartbeat and she refused to give me my first sonogram which Ive been told by other gynecologists is unheard of. We have great insurance and I begged her, even offered to pay out of pocket, still no. She rolled her eyes at my switching to an organic diet and gave me prenatal vitamins loaded with food coloring and other harmful unnecessary additives. She was short with us, very cold and maybe accepts too many patients as she made it sound like she wouldnt be there for the birth because she needs her sleep. The office staff then sent a very sick and contagious employee to talk to me about my pregnancy insurance coverage. We left frustrated and so upset, never to return.

Really good doctor. I have been seeing her since 15 years. I would give million stars if i have choice.

Elise Harper and their staff are really nice and the doctor is very clear in explaining things and spends time to listen to your questions.

Dr Harper and her staff are amazing. She is practical, no nonsense and very true to her patients. I cannot say enough good things about her. She kept me sane during my pregnancy and made sure I exercised and stayed healthy. She is very easy to talk to and always approachable. The wait time was less than 15 mins almost always. On the day of my induction, she stayed with me till late in the evening as my pains were not coming. She never shows any signs of being in a hurry once she is with you. She is most knowledgeable and comes with an enormous experience. She always kept things lighthearted and took care of my nervousness. I would surely recommend her to everyone. The added bonus is that all drs in her practice are amazing if in case she is not on call.PS: Even my L&D nurse said that Dr Harper is one of the most dedicated drs at the centennial.

I wouldnt go to any other OB/GYN to deliver my babies (she helped me through my pregnancies and delivered both) or health care. She is kind, knowledgeable, friendly, and she took any question I had seriously. I had pretty severe (for me) PPD after she delivered my second baby and she didnt brush me off or tell me it wasnt that bad. She listened to me and took care of me. She is an incredible doctor and I recommend her to everyone I know who is in need of an OB/GYN.

I really wish Dr. Elises staff was more professional and less rude.
