Mom was at other places and was ok but not happy. At Stonemere she calls it home. Everyone is happy to be around her and she talks about all of them and how much they do for her. It is the little things that mean so much. One does her nails. Another gets her really cold water. Each person there makes a point of talking to her and they know her name. It has been a blessing because I am so happy that she is safe, happy, and well cared for. They always call me when there is a question and are I know when there is a problem they will take action and keep me informed.

I received exceptional care/service at Stonemere during my one and a half months stay.  Besides the highly competent staff, they truly care about the patients. As a result, my recovery was achieved 50% faster than it was originally projected. While everyone did a great job, La Gretta, Tiffany, and Nicole, were amazing to deal with and they went out of their way to address questions/concerns that I and my wife had.  This provided tremendous value by putting us at ease during our challenging times.Jeff and Ester were the top nurses.  Vee was the best tech.  These folks exhibited such deep concern for the patient and took the time to talk to me and made me feel great.  Last but not least, I would like to thank my PT/OT professionals for getting me back on my feet, i.e., Ty, Julie, Debora, Brigetta, and Justin.During my stay, whenever anyone asked me how it is going?, my response always was, Im living the life of luxury!Thank you, Stonemere!

If 0 was an option, I would use that to rate this place. DO NOT PLACE ANYONE YOU CARE ABOUT in their care. They completely neglected my grandmother who ended up in the trauma ICU after entering the facility to regain strength. Absolutely disgusting care.

My 91 year old mother was admitted here after her broken hip bone surgery. Physical facility is excellent. Nurses are good, especially Judy, Jericho and Mayo were exceptionally good. Physical therapy staff is excellent, especially Rachel was exceptional. Occupational therapists are also very good, especially Bianca was exceptionally good. Activity Director Razia is outstanding and very helpful. Executive Director, Daniel Prince is committed to service so much that he gave us his cellphone number to reach out anytime. The sore points are food and business office. There were times when same food items were repeated seven days in a raw. Facility has no concept of vegetarian food and choices are very limited. Business office is very slow in processing paperwork and not responsive to client requests. I have seen other rehab centers and comparatively this one is much better. My mom stayed here for two months.

I was sent by my surgeon to Stonemere Rehab after my surgery 3 weeks ago. When I arrived at the building they were expecting me and I was welcomed by the staff and everyone was really friendly!! All the nurses were so wonderful and they acted like they really cared. The therapists are awesome and my results were really fast. I planned on staying for at least 2 weeks but I was ready to go home in 10 days and I feel great! I was here for Halloween and there were so many fun activities! The building still looks brand new and the housekeeping workers are awesome. My room was kept immaculate and I couldnt ask for anything better. The social worker was very helpful and wonderful. The nurses treated me like a family member and took very good care of me.I would give Stonemere 5 1/2 stars if I could! I will definitely tell all of my friends about them!I am thankful that my doctor sent me here.

My mothers admission at this facility has been a very positive experience. All of the staff are friendly and caring. From the moment we toured to my moms final day at this facility, the team made it a point to go above and beyond to make sure she had the best stay and care possible. The facility is well managed and kept, very clean and bright. The therapists really helped motivate my mother to work hard and improve herself. I recommend this place very highly.

I stayed at The Stonemere for two weeks following a total knee replacement. I was scared out of my wits due to my surgery in the first place and frankly dont like being at the mercy of others. For the first time in my life, I found myself relying on strangers to care for my every need. The Stonemere stepped up to the plate and proved to be the right choice. I saw excellence and compassion in action by not just the staff but the Executive Director as well. Never at any time did I feel uncared for or unsafe. In fact, by the end of my stay, I made many new friends and plan to tell everyone I know about the best kept secret in Collin County. A big shout out goes to the Executive Director, Daniel Prince, whose compassionate heart is reflected in his staff. Mr. Prince requires a high standard of quality care and attention from his staff and demonstrates by example with excellence as he frequently spends time with each patient instead of hiding behind a desk. As a result of the exquisite care and therapy I received at The Stonemere, I am functioning 2 weeks ahead of schedule in my recovery. The proof is in the results!

My loved one says the food is no good for elderly people..pizza slice most of the time..And physical therapy is minimal..no meds given for diarrhea. Starting to think my loved one may be better off at home. and why does stonemere only reply to positive reviews???

Due to double knee replacement surgeries, Ive been a guest at Stonemere twice. And I have 2 more upcoming surgeries, and I plan on staying here again. I searched all of the facilities in the area, and this was by far the best. Everyone is just wonderful. Its not easy being in a rehab facility & its easy to get very grouchy. But the entire staff worked to keep my spirits up! Each time, I had to stay appx. 10-12 weeks. It began to feel like my home after a while, so on my 2nd visit, it was so much easier. The food is awesome, they have yummy muffins for breakfast, the staff is so caring, the nurses are outstanding & the Physical Therapy people are amazing. While I realize that nobody is really excited about being in a rehab facility, but if its required, this is my top choice for places to be. It was also very easy to have visitors, very good location.

This is a beautiful facility and seems fairly clean. My grandmother stayed here and it took too long to get a staff member to come when attention was needed.

This place should be investigated for criminal neglect. EMT broke grandmothers newly operated hip, gauze oozed profusely and nurses never bothered to redress the wound. She cried out in pain for over two hours straight and nurses suggested Tylenol (which they didnt have). Refused to address the pain at all even though grandmother was in tears. Nurses understaffed, unempathetic, and lacking basic critical thinking skills.Grandmother started turning yellow and jaundiced, crying from pain from the re-broken hip and nurses essentially shrugged and said that happens sometimes. No it doesnt! She was getting jaundiced because she has bile-duct cancer! You would think they would recognize a problem like that, but no, they ignored it. Pretty much ignored my grandmother altogether. Ignored her cries, her oozing wound, her requests for food. Found out today that she hasnt eaten since yesterday! We became incredibly worried for her life after visiting her at Stonemere today and had to pull her and take her to the ER. Were currently finding out all the damage that has been done since she was taken to Stonemere.A male patient was crying out for help for so long that my father-in-law had to go out and force a nurse to come take care of him. It seemed like they were just content to ignore a patient begging for help!Management was nice and the facility itself seemed nice too. I suppose if you admit someone with low needs then this place might be okay but I genuinely fear for the safety of all the elderly patients that were admitted here.I almost think this place should be investigated for potential elder abuse.

My father has been in that facility for 9 weeks - During that time he has been sent to the hospital twice, both times discovering that he was severely dehydrated. He has also had bouts of diarrhea lasting for weeks that were left untreated. Not to mention that communication from doctors and case workers is practically zero. They dont call me, they dont call my siblings, they dont call my mother. We call, and call and the chances of somebody calling back is at 50/50. They admitted to us that their lab is no good and yet they are making treatment decisions on what they freely admit is questionable label results. At this point it feels like they are just keeping him there to milk all the medicaid money out of him (which is like 84 days) and then they will release. He went in for some simple muscle strengthening after a fall and hes has gotten worse and worse since being there. Im very disappointed in his treatment.

After visiting and touring the facility I was given Nevin Chacko - Rehab Stonemere Dir of Adm contact information as the next stepI left three quite detailed messages within four days on Nevins cell and his office mail box and he never returned my callThe last attempt I called the business number where a receptionist put me on hold while she rang his office only to come back on minutes later and said Nevin told her he was about to clock out and wouldnt take my call(at 4:45)They obviously making so much money they can obviously afford to profile prospective patients
