I started the program in February and had success. I actually thought the staff was nice and wanted me to succeed. When Covid happened, no call , no support at all. All they care about is the money. I will not return. I did not adjust the stars. Should be one.

This company use to be a very reputable company. The past year that Tracey has been at the corporate office there has been a dramatic decline. It seems she is more concerned about patient numbers rather than the actual quality of patient care. Its very sad to see a company with such credible history fall due to one persons incompetence and disregard for patient care and/or concerns. I am in week 3 of waiting on a return call from her supervisor.

I have lost 10 lbs in the 9 weeks on the program. Doesnt sound like a lot, but given that I was out of town every week on a job assignment at a client location that provided all sorts of food items for their staff along with a cappucino bar, I will say that sticking strictly to this program was made very easy by the shakes, supplements, & new habits that have become a part of everyday living for me now. The next 10 lbs will be a real challenge, but Im confident that sticking to the plan will make it much easier than on my own.

Absolutely love this company and the current team at the Plano location!!! They are so motivating and even when life hands you struggles, just going and getting re-motivated makes all the different!!!! 31 years old and down 28 lbs as of last Friday since March 11th!

I have been going to Medi for three months now and I have lost over 35 pounds. With that being said I cheated for about 3 weeks of that time oops. I started at 235 and I am now 199. I love this place and the people hereby are so nice and encouraging and they really care about their patients! I recommend medi to everyone!

I started Medi Nov 1st and had to start at the Plano location because of the Insurance that were accepted. Let me start off by saying that thus far I have loss 17lbs to date and this is with a little cheating here or there, because of the holidays I was set back but I was put on a different regiment and I lost what I have gain. Im now considering in changing locations to the Arlington because it is much closer but I have became attached to the people at Plano, I believe they are friendly and really want to see you do well. I give this a 4 star is because the other week I decided to get my B12 shot and although it did not hurt that day several days later it hurt like hell and now it has been 2wks and it still hurts. This has never happen to me before so I will never let the young lady give me another B12 shot and I will tell her why. I spoke to the doctor and she said this may have been due to the nurse hitting a nerve or going to deep. So for that Medi gets a 4 star, other than that Im happy I just hate the drive.

I posted this on Yelp and reposting here too.I recently stopped using Medi. I started the program with them In October. Due to the recent changes in policy by either the clinic or the company I have decided to leave. The rates were raised in January without any reasons why. The snacks are no longer offered at the location and only available by placing an online order. The prescription for the appetite depressant will not be called into my pharmacy, only a paper prescription is given even though until a few weeks ago it was always called in. There is now a requirement to use the ketosis strip before being seen which just started as a requirement. (sorry but i dont want to pee on a stick at their clinic once a week). I have had some issues with non friendly staff and the staff I did like had left (which should be a clue when there is turnover). However being treated poorly or spoken to like I am a child is not something I want to pay $100+ a week for. There are several weight loss programs out there and I am more than happy to spend my money elsewhere with someone who will respect and be friendly with their patients/customers. The company (or perhaps just this clinic location) has been making a lot of policy changes to make things easier and more convenient for the clinic/company but not for the customer. So I have decided to move to another weight loss option that will fit what I am looking for and be beneficial to my time and needs.The last thing that proved to me that this was a good decision to part ways was the fact that I cancelled the remaining 3 booked appointments (with plenty of notice) and yet they will not refund the money. You can pay visit to visit but when the rates went up in Jan 2016, they convinced me to do the month to month plan to save money and pay about what I was paying when I started the program. So despite that I wont be using their services any longer they plan to keep a few hundred dollars for the cancelled appointments.Just wanted to share so others were aware of what this business is like.

First of all, let me tell all of you that the Medi program really works. I used it previously at the Flower Mound location when it first opened and had great success. HOWEVER, about two years ago I signed up with the Plano location and again had some initial success but left the program because, they always ran late and had issues with staff not showing up. Fast forward to the present, after deciding that it was time to shed some extra weight, my partner and I contacted Medi Plano in hopes that things have improved. Nope.1. Trying to set up the initial appointment was a phone and email tag mess, which ended with the girl scheduling (oddly) letting us know she was not longer working there, our attempts to contact the office directly (via phone messages and emails) to confirm the appointment set with the girl who left went unanswered until the morning of when they called to ask why we were not there...no problem, we rescheduled...2. We arrive for our new 7 am appointment to find that the office staff was short due to no shows and call-ins. A short delay is fine as long as we are at work by 9 to lead our respective staff meetings (which we didnt set up backups for knowing that we scheduled enough time for the 1 1/2 hour new patient appointment). 40 minutes later, we ask if we will be seen soon, but run into apologies and excuses. I make it clear that we cannot stay because at that point we would be late getting to the office and that it is imperative that the office maintain their appointments in a timely manner otherwise (like my previous experience) I cannot start the program at that location...no problem, we reschedule again and are assured that well get in on time the next visit since the new patient paperwork is out of the way now.3. The new patient paperwork. Ridiculous. Format, questions, and information is gathered in an illogical and backwards way putting the consumer in a compromising and risky situation if the office so chooses to be run without ethics or morals. For example, you are asked to sign legal agreements to pay before you have any information on the program, pricing, what to expect and etc. I mentioned to the nice woman at the desk and she asked if I was a lawyer because she hears that comment a lot from people who deal with legal documents. NO, I am not but I do have a lot of experience reviewing legal (regulatory) documents and I frankly, the issues with the documentation are quiet obvious.4. My next first appointment, my partner has a meeting with a city planning committee that came up so she had to cancel. I showed up for the appointment and signed in after a gentleman (who looked really good, the program must be working for him). I ask to use the restroom but was refused because “…the restrooms are for patients to use in order that they sign in. There are patients ahead of you. If you use it before you are called someone would have to walk you to the waiting room again.”I wasnt asking to use the restroom as a patient, I was asking to use it as a human being, with a physical need. After clarifying that the restroom restriction was NOT due to a medical process associated with appointments (i.e. urine sampling) which necessitates patients to use it in the order they sign in and only when called, I cancelled my appointment and let them know I wont be back.This program works. It DOES. I recommend it, but cannot recommend this location. It was a very expensive program years ago and based on recent customer reviews there were program changes and a significant price increase implemented making it even more so. As a consumer, I feel that if I am making a commitment to participate in a program like this, show up on time, and etc. the business should make a commitment to service with compassion, courtesy, punctuality, and professionalism.One star for the location, four stars for the program itself which I will place on a separate review for the Flower Mound location. Another option: I heard good things about the Southlake location, particularly their staff.

I felt that I could not lose weight and the clinics that were going there really did not have a real interest in my health and help me. I was looking for a place that really cared about my health and was effective in losing weight healthy and without rebounding. And it was when I found Rebecca as an angel that I supported myself with patience in every part of the process. Literally my support is a professional and beautiful person.Thank you medi weight loss changed my life ❤❤❤
