Absolutely amazing place! I came from a pediatrician in FL who only saw my daughter as “one more”. I felt very comfortable asking the doctor questions and sharing my concerns without being rushed or cut off. They are accommodating and are willing to work with the plan you present regarding vaccines. I love this place!

All of the staff are helpful and caring. They always get my kids in right away with all these viruses going around. Dr. Olteanu is kind and compassionate to the kiddos and their feelings and supports & listens to any opinion parents may have. She truly works with the whole family and child to help make sick visits less stressful. I highly recommend this practice!

Wonderful Doctor and wonderful office and staff! We drive 3 hours round trip just to go here but well worth it for the care the kids get. We feel heard and respected in an environment focused on treating children with natural methods first and whenever possible. I was very pleased with the office visit and meeting with Dr. Oltineau. First off, the staff was very kind and facilitating for me being a first time patient and Dr. O was extremely informative through the entire visit. Dr. Alina is absolute amazing! Our baby has been by no means easy the first 6 months. We’ve been through at least 2 other offices/ practices and truly found an amazing match in this team. They care, don’t rush our visits and feel truly invested in our little one. After dealing with Eczema, Allergies, the Flu and countless other small issues, they’ve made great recommendations of other specialists as well. I cant recommend this team enough!

Whole Child Pediatrics is great! Medical care is outstanding, I am very happy with the holistic approach. While most doctors treat symptoms, Dr. Olteanu will strive to determine the causes and use her expertize to take care of those causes. Staff is friendly and professional, and setting up appointmens is easy and convenient.

Front office staff was welcoming and the nurse was super sweet; however did not get the greatest of vibes from the doctor. The office seemed to only have 1 other patient that was being seen and the visit seemed to be super rushed. I am a first time mom and I was advised to not give my son any Tylenol before or after his shots were given, so I listened and did what I was told; HOWEVER a few hours later he went down for a nap and when he woke he was in excruciating pain!! He was inconsolable and I tried everything from bathing him, massaging his legs as well as tried putting ice packs on his legs and nothing worked. He cried for 2 hours straight and I couldnt even call the nurses line since I could not hear the prompts over his screaming. I ended up giving him Tylenol because I couldnt stand seeing him in that much pain! It took 10 minutes for him to calm down and was even crying in his sleep. I then was finally able to call the nurses line to inform them of this information! This provider seemed to be more worried about being all about being natural with her recommendations which I am all for but not to the point where it is going to HURT MY CHILD!! She sold me vitamins for a 4+ old child and my baby is only 2 months old, then I read the box and it states that it isnt even FDA approved!! I now know that these providers get huge kick backs for selling items and I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE!!

We just love going to this place, Dr. Alina Olteanu is the best pediatrician we have been to. She is so nice and understanding. She talks to your child and asks a lot of questions. She’s patient, informative and explains things so that they’re understandable, personable, thorough, and she listens to all of our concerns. We never feel like we’re being rushed.She is a highly qualified pediatrician with your childs best interests first and foremost.The front desk ladies and nurses are also great. I have left messages on the nurses line several times with concerns and they’re always quick to call back. The office has been able to squeeze us in the same day every time we’ve needed it. I can’t say enough great things about this office.

Have been patients of Dr Alina’s for several years. There is no doctor nor staff more caring toward children and their families. Dr A takes the time she needs with our children and will always (in the visit or afterward) answer our questions and provide integrative medicine recommendations. She is exceptional!!

Dr. Olteanu is an easy choice for my daughters wellbeing. She is always sweet, friendly and calm which is needed as I am a first time mom. She has been seeing my LO since she was a few days old and is now 4. Dr. Alina has given me great advice and care while encouraging me how to create a healthy immune system for my baby so she rarely gets sick. A true wellness practitioner and a fantastic resource for healthy living! Its worth the extra drive to know my girl is in good hands.

I brought my 9 year old daughter with autism here for a wellness visit. I wanted her to have a female doctor since she is getting older. I feel like this doctor was extremely rude and had the worst bedside manner. She never talked directly to my daughter. She just ignored her. Treated and looked at her like she was unworthy of life. She wanted to know if my other children had an autism diagnosis. I felt this was unprofessional in front of them. When I asked her for any suggestions for helping my daughter. Her words to me was that I should manage my expectations!She was condescending. She did not have one positive or helpful thing to say. She made me feel like I was wasting my time. My 11 year told me after we left that he did not feel she was nice. Her nurse had a better disposition then she did. For someone who claims to specialize in dealing with children with autism I was more then disappointed. I regretted taking the time to go meet her. I left here and cried I was so taken aback by her lack of care.Sandy Gluckman shares office space with her. I have attended a few of Ms. Gluckmans seminars. I found them beneficial. However, hope their partnering was not just about the money. If you have a child with autism, DO NOT DARE BRING YOUR CHILD HERE!Perhaps Sandy could give you some lessons on how to treat people!

Doctor experience was great and she was super helpful in a healing plan for our daughter. The front desk however seemed disorganized. They misquoted us prices and then didn’t get back to us for over several months after at least 3 attempts. We even brought up our frustration with a repsectful email and phone call and they still did not change the way they handled things.

The Dr. is the best!! I’m so sad that when my insurance changed we weren’t able to continue seeing her. My girls love all of the staff there and Monica is always super kind and helpful.

2/25/2019. Doctor poorly hung an otoscope on the wall, and the otoscope fell on the baby’s head! Unbelievable.The two nurses gasped in shock, and the baby screamed in pain from being hit in the head with a falling metal object. Instead of apologizing for negligence, the doctor simply said ‘oops, will we ever see you here again?’Will not go back and will not recommend. Visit this practice group at your own peril.

Dr. Olteanu is the best!!! We have four children, some require more care than others but they all receive amazing care from Dr. Olteanu. From teenage issues to toddlers and baby, she handles everything with great care and professionalism. She is a great listener and a very kind human. We love Dr. Olteanu and feel so fortunate to have her as our doctor!

Ive taken both of my boys for well visits, short wait, and Dr. Olteanu is knowledgable about holistic health and wellness! She even agreed to precept me for my CPNP-PC hours. :)

We were thrilled to find a holistic pediatrician in our area for our newborn. Unfortunately we could not continue going here after only a few visits. Every time we had an appointment for our newborn we had to wait at least 45 minutes to an hour (or more sometimes) to only be seen for a few minutes and rushed out. Then I asked for a prescription to be sent to our delivery hospital for a lactation consultation per request of the hospital and this office sent over to myself AND the hospital another patient’s file in which we unfortunately received VERY sensitive information I’m sure no one wanted us to know. When confronting the office they made it seem like no big deal. To them it wasn’t because they also did it AGAIN with yet another patient’s information. We stopped seeing this doctor after this as we did not feel safe with our own personal information. Now here it is 10 months later and they tried balance billing us. This office waited until past the due date to submit claims to insurance and now want us to pay for their mistake. Our insurance told us this is illegal! We never received any bills prior to the email stating we now have a balance. I called the office and was told the billing person would give me a call. Surprise, never did. I have reported this to BBB, HIPAA, and the Texas Medical Board. I didn’t want to write a poor review or report anything but unfortunately the balance billing has left me no choice.

We visited this practice for the first and last time today. We recently moved to the area and were excited to find an integrative medicine pediatrician for our one month old. The front office staff and nurses were welcoming and friendly, but our experience with the doctor is the reason we won’t be returning and would not recommend this practice.While examining our baby, Dr. Olteanu dropped the otoscope on our son’s head. While my husband and I stood there, stunned, and our child cried on the table, she continued the examination as if nothing happened. She did not try to console or comfort our newborn and not once was an apology offered. On her way out the door she recommended next steps, “if we decide to come back,” never addressing what has just happened.I understand that we are all human and accidents happen. My concern is that Dr. Olteanu did not take responsibility for injuring my child. Had the tool fallen just a few centimeters further down and hit his eye instead of his forehead, it could have caused serious damage. I hope this experience causes this practice to re-evaluate where they place their tools- perhaps right above where they lay newborns isn’t the safest location.

Since our little one has been fighting an ugly cough for a couple weeks we decided to take her in to see Dr Olteanu. She assured us that it was just a virus that needed to run its course and recommended homeopathic remedies to make her comfortable. As it always happens when we see Dr Olteanu, the care she recommended worked wonderfully and our babys health improved at the rate the doctor predicted. Dr Olteanu even called periodically to check on her progress. Where else can you get care like that for your children? I highly recommend Dr Olteanu and her staff as they are the best we have found (and we tried many) in pediatric care.
