We had a great experience with Dr Davis. My 8 year old and 4 year old twins just loved her. My 8 year old had to get some fillings and the appointment went so smooth!! Would highly recommend her!

My daughters three. This was the first time she had x-rays. They had two staff members help her and it was wonderful. She did not cry. This time for the cleaning they tried the electric brush and that scared her a little. They were extremely kind and understanding and quickly went back to manual brushing so that we could finish our visit. Great staff really listens to the parents!

I’ve been coming here for about 10 years and I always have a great visit. Everyone is super sweet, and they do a great job at explaining what they’re doing and why. It’s a great environment for little kids and even older kids like myself.

Dr. Davis and the staff are amazing, my 4 kiddos have been going here for years now. The only reason this review is a 4 and not a 5 is because I know on at least 5 occasions or more they have said your visit will be this much, but when the day comes to get my kids treatment done the amount is higher!!! The last time this has happened we showed them the treatment plan print out with the amount and they didnt honor it. My friend even wrote a letter because it was happening to her , not sure what came out of it. The insurance and billing person needs to do better.

I believe its time for a new dentist, Im tired of her rudeness. You are serving children! Learn some patience, or do something different.

Recently, my younger one had a cracked tooth, I called the front office seeking a visit on a priority, they clearly understood the situation and its urgency. Once we were inside, Dr. Davis and her team did quick exams and performed the needed extraction, my kid was happy with this awesome care. Thank you Healthy Smiles crew, youre the best!!

My nine year old just had his first appointment with Dr. Davis today. The front office staff was incredibly helpful with scheduling and getting the online forms filled out, and the back office staff quickly put us both at ease today. In taking my son’s medical history, they learned of a severe allergy he has, and WITHOUT ME ASKING, the hygienists checked the ingredients to make sure all the products they were using would be safe for him. When we met Dr. Davis, we loved her bedside manner. I’m extremely pleased that we found Healthy Smiles and look forward to a long future with them!

We visited Dr. Davis today for my girls dental needs. Front office staff and nurses were all so friendly yet professional and made my kids feel at ease. As a dental assistant for 18 years, I know what is great! Iwas very please when taking my children for their dental check ups. The office was very clean and had an amazing plan of protocol to keep everyone safe in this pandemic. The hygienist, Jennifer, was amazing, kind and knowledgeable and Dr Davis was exceptional!! Staff was so friendly and helpful. I had my 3 year old and 18 month old with me and while holding the 3 year old one of the nurses was chasing around my 18 month old. They were so sweet to my children and explained everything I needed to know.

Very professional and friendly. They were great with my 4 year old son. They kept him engaged and spoke to him directly so he learned, rather than only speaking to me and me relaying it back to him. They were hospitable and friendly from the moment we walked through the door.The place was spotless and they were raking every precaution to make it safe .. but it wasnt scary for my kid. They managed to make everything feel completely normal.The prices are fair as well. I found this place on my Cigna app. It helps me find the fairest prices and places that work with my insurance.Dr. Davis, Miss Sarah, and Miss Jenny were fantastic and I reccomend this place to anyone looking for great dental care for their little ones.

I have been bringing my daughter here for over 9 years! I love this place and my daughter doesnt mind going to the dentist at all! Its a very pleasant experience for her even if she has to have a cavity fixed. The staff are very friendly and positive. The office is very kid friendly. I cant say enough nice things about Dr. Davis. She is very sweet and kind to all her patients and their parents. They do a great job of teaching the children the importance of taking good care of their teeth. I would recommend this office to everyone! My daughter was almost two when we first started going there and now shes almost 11!

I have been taking my daughter to Dr. Davis for the last few years. We have always had a wonderful experience. The staff is extremely caring and gentle with my daughter. The hygenist (I don’t recall her name now) and Dr. Davis took the time to thoroughly explain everything they did before working on my daughter. Their bedside manner with my child and I was amazing! I really like the educational aspect of visit because the hygienist explained the proper care for teeth to my child and then Dr. Davis took the time to make sure I understood everything. Although, we have never had any major dental treatment, every cleaning or interaction with staff has been pleasant. My daughter actually looks forward to cleanings, which is amazing!

We had a great experience with our 2 kids. I truly love the way they treat the children even down to using different names for the procedures and instruments. At one point, the assistant said she was going to count my daughters teeth and then tickle them with the brush. Dr Davis was excellent and all her staff were great. I highly recommend them

I had an excellent experience from the very first phone call to seeing Dr. Davis. I called for a first visit for 5 year old twins. I love that they were able to get us in right away. The woman on the phone, Willow, was very pleasant and made sure we had all the information needed for our first visit. We arrived 30 min early, before the office opened, and we were able to go inside to wait. There were plenty activities for the kids to do to be entertained. We were called in on time and started x-rays. The kids had never had them done before, but the experience was so easy that they didn’t mind at all. The next step was the cleaning; the office had two side-by-side cleaning chairs in a large room with stuffed animals on the wall and plenty of other seating. The kids were able to grab a friend to cuddle with during the cleaning. They were also able to watch a movie. The dental hygienist was very kid friendly and made the kids comfortable during the cleaning. Lastly, Dr. Mila came into the office. She is so pleasant and personable. I highly recommend this office. It was recommended to me by a friend, and I am so happy to have gone. Every single staff person was incredibly nice. The kids even got balloon animals, stickers, and a toy when they left. They actually want to go back!!

This dental practice is the best. They are so attentive to their pediatric patients. They personalize care to assist with each childs anxieties to maintain optimal comfort. My children rate this place ten out of ten.

My 6 year old sons adult teeth were coming in and his baby teeth were still there so Dr. Davis had to extract the baby teeth. I was not prepared that it would take place today but she and her dental assistant walked me through every detail of what was going to happen and even showed me with a model what happened to cause the baby teeth not to fall out. They were so nice and professional to my family that it was an easy process for my son to lose his baby teeth this way. Thanks again Dr. Davis!!

Dr Davis put a spacer in my son’s mouth and it came out 4 weeks later. I had no idea I needed to keep it because they never told me that “keep it if it happens to come out.” Clearly it wasn’t installed correctly. I went back today to have a spacer put back in and she told me the cost was $434. I was livid. It shouldn’t have come out in the first place! We will be changing dentists.

My 3 girls have been seeing Dr. Davis for over a year now. They LOVE her. Her gentle touch and caring staff make going to the dentist a breeze.This is saying a lot from my family. Dr. Davis had to preform extensive dental work on my then 5 year old (2 extractions, 2 crowns, and 2 spacers). I was very worried that my little one would never want to see a dentist again. But she still loves going to see Dr. Davis!I really appreciate how Dr. Davis and her staff explain each step of the visit to my girls and how they use positive language to explain it. Instead of talking over my kids head and explaining things to me only (like the old school dentist from my days), they direct most of their conversation to the girls. If they need to explain the scary stuff to me, they do it away from the kids.I highly recommend Dr. Davis!

We have been coming to Healthy Smiles Childrens Dentistry with Dr. Mila Davis for a about 18 months. Both of my children have taken extremely well to Dr. Davis and her staff. They are caring, kind, gentle and patient with my little guys. My kids will be patients of Dr. Davis as long as we can.

Dr. Davis is the only Dentist that I will bring my daughter to see. She makes sure that my daughter is always taken care of and that we as parents feel at ease too. Shes the best of the best!

The hygienist was amazing and both Dentists very personable but their wait times are ridiculous. This is a Childrens dentist after all and Id imagine they understand that kids can be impatient. With that said, I dont understand why it takes over an hour especially since there was only 1 other patient there. Unfortunately, this was the last straw and after 4 years I will not accept the wait times anymore.

The staff was friendly but the same questions were asked multiple times regarding diet. We waited in the lobby for 25 minutes until seeing a hygienist and then almost 10 minutes before seeing Dr. Davis. They provide TV screens when sitting in the chairs as well as souvenirs (balloon, cup, and rubber duck) for little ones.

Could not be happier with this dentist and their staff! Dr. Hoang was extremely professional and provided me with all the information I needed to make the best decisions for my childrens dental health! Kudos to the staff who were on time for the appointment and were able to take care of all my concerns without hesitation. Very happy and a well-earned 5 stars!

This a dishonest dental practice. Daughter had spacers installed based on their dentist recommendation. Spacer broke multiple times and we had to go back several times to fix them since the dentist was not able to install them properly.According to them we were not supposed to be charged a penny. I found out later when my daughter went for her regular checkup that wr had to pay because we already exhausted the allowed insurance covered free exams.Apparently this dentist charged the timeto fix her bad work fixing the spacers as a regular checkup. In fact the dentist billed the dental insurance company twice within less than 30 days for 2 regular checkups that usually are billed twice a year. When I challenged their front desk staff with this information they would not reimburse that money. I am not taking my kids there againCheck your dental insurance statements closely !

HANDS DOWN THE BEST CHILDRENS DENTIST IN DFW!! My daughter had to receive a crown and get two teeth pulled...they were so gentle that my daughter did not even know they gave her shots in her gums to numb her. They truly care about the wellbeing and dental health of their patients. Dr. Davis is AMAZING and so is her staff!!

This was the WORST experience not just for my child but for me as a parent. This has traumatized my daughter to the fullest. This place has not patience for children. They have no empathy for children. If you are ready to hear your child scream in excruciating pain then then this is where you wanna be. I strongly suggest you DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE!

I brought my granddaughter into this office. Dr. E and the staff were so kind and loving to my 2 yr old granddaughter. The hygienist Amanda was so patient with her and sat and discussed all of my concerns. My granddaughter was very nervous and teary at first but the women were so motherly to her that before long she was singing songs about brushing her teeth. At the end of her very first dental visit she left with a big smile. She was so excited to get a balloon and a prize. This office and staff are amazing with small children.

Staff was pleasant but every single appointment we had with this dentists office we sat and sat waiting to be seen by the dentist. Our appointments averaged an hour and a half per visit and only 20- 30 mins was spent with staff or the dentist. We will never go back.

Dr. Etebari is FANTASTIC!!!! She makes my girls feel so especial. She’s gentle, patient and so thorough. Dr. Etebari and her team are absolutely amazing.

We went to Dr Davis for several years before she had her baby when she was the only dentist that was ever there. I felt they overscheduled, but that was my only complaint. Then, we went for a visit and saw a substitute dentist because she was not there that day. The substitute said my 7 year old (who had never had previous dental work) would need 2 caps and a cavity filled. I thought that seemed suspicious so I took her to a pediatric dentist in McKinney that many friends recommended. He said she had 1 small cavity. He said he looked thoroughly and x-rayed and could not find two more. This was about a year ago and no more cavities have ever come up. Stay away from this practice. If you never know what dentist you will see and arent guaranteed to see Dr. Davis, its not worth it. I cannot imagine how much extra it would have cost to stay with this dentist.

Special needs child with first and hopefully last cavities, Dr Davis made the process less anxiety filled for all of us.

We decided to try out this pedi dentist because of the convenient location to our home in Frisco. When we walked in they already had my childrens names on their display board in the lobby, when all we had done so far was schedule the initial appt. This made it seem like they didnt have enough childrens names, and didnt respect consent forms. (To confirm a previous review, the consent forms did have several prying and unnecessary questions and consents. ) Then the asst who brought us back informed us of what all we had to do, without asking us any questions about our preferences, then attempted to argue with us before sitting us in the treatment room. The hygienist was great, she was personable and explained what was happening with our children. The Dr came in afterwards and did not do a very good job of explaining or helping with any questions. The staff was lacking in compassion and seemed only worried about having us move forward with their treatment plans. We intend on driving the extra distance to keep our childrens current dentist. Our experience here didnt make us feel comfortable or with the want to return. Good location, but poor customer service.

I was SO scared to try out a pediatric dentist near me. We have been driving 45 minutes to one in Mckinney, and paying out of pocket for visits because I was too scared to switch. We had one we trusted, so we stuck with him. I’ve heard horror stories that pediatric dentists cannot be trusted.Well, I am so glad I finally took the plunge! Took my 6 and 4 year olds here today for cleanings and x rays. The hygienists were awesome with my kids. The cleanings and x rays were done quickly, and there was a game room while each kid was waiting for x rays.After the cleanings we did have to wait about 15-20 minutes to see the dentist. But, she was in a procedure. I’d hope if I had the kid in a procedure, she didn’t feel rushed for the patients getting cleaned. My kids read books and played with the animals the office provided.Once the Dr came in, she was SO friendly, and I completely trust her recommendations. She said the same things the last Dr said, and was just so great! I’m so glad we found this dentist! Thanks so much!

My child had gone to this dentist for at least a few years and was always on the “no cavity” wall. No problems. Then, we in for a routine cleaning and the dentist said she had a cavity, and I needed to get a filling and some other stuff done that I didn’t understand. It was foolish of me not to ask more questions, but I left feeling uneasy about getting laughing gas. They told me I needed to get this done right away and showed me how much everything would cost. So my job changed insurance carriers, and luckily for me, Dr. Mila didn’t accept my new insurance and I had to go to a different dentist and I am so glad I did. It was 7 months after seeing Dr. Mila and the new dentist tells me my child teeth were perfect and no cavities and I asked her if she was sure, she took ex-rays and said, “no ma’am, no cavities!!!! I was happy but pissed at the same time. Thank goodness Dr. Mila didn’t take my new insurance, otherwise I would have paid a lot of money for something my child didn’t even need!!! I can’t believe she would do something like that, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to her practice! Go to a dentist that cares and not trying to nickel and dime you!

Beware!! Ive had such terrible experiences with the staff. Im so glad I no longer take my children here. The only thing they care about is whats in your wallet. I was overcharged so many times I couldnt keep track. And the staff was so rude to me when I addressed the issues. They would fix the bill for me and then later mail me the same charges. This happened multiple times. My sister-in-law had similar issues here as well. Also, they did procedures on my kids teeth that I later found out they did not need. So, they overcharged, were rude and insisted my children needed things that were actually not needed at all. AND they wouldnt transfer my childrens dental records to the new dentist. I cant believe they are still in business. I would highly recommend finding someone else!!!!

Unfortunately, awful customer service today. Weve been seeing Dr. Davis for two years, I have never provided my social security number as it is not required for verification of benefits. Office staff told me that it is the rules - and that if I chose not to follow the office rules I would have to pay cash and file my own insurance claim -the irony to this is that they had already verified my benefits and knew my coverage. I work in healthcare as director for ambulatory revenue cycle, cant be fooled by these rules. I asked for a copy of this new policy as Ive never provided my social security in the past. I was not presented any such documentation. Its a shame that Dr. Davis will be losing two young patients. I will not be recommending this office to friends or neighbors.

We took our four children to Healthy Smiles in Frisco, TX after hearing positive feedback online however, we were less than pleased with our overall experience and felt the staff was insensitive to handle the needs of pediatric patients even though the specialize in dealing with children (and their parents).First off, I was asked to sign paperwork that made me feel uncomfortable as a parent:Verbal Questionnaire - Child(ren) would need to indicate to the Hygenist whether they took care of their teeth on a regular basis, ate well, etc. but if I (the parent) answered on behalf of my child(ren), I would be asked to leave (believe they used the words escorted out).I dont understand why I, the parent, cant answer or help answer on behalf of my child(ren).I know better than they, regarding their brushing and eating habits, as I prepare their foods and help brush their teeth on a consistent basis.Most kids embellish or dont realize what youre looking for when presented with questions that would gauge healthy hygiene habits. And wouldnt be surprised if you did not receive honest and reliable feedback from your pediatric customers since you rely solely on their feedback.I was asked to sign a waiver where I could not be with my child (regardless of age) when they went back for treatment if they felt it was necessary.I understand you dont want parents distracting the dentist or hygenist with questions while youre performing services on your customers, but when you specialize in pediatric dentistry, I hope you understand young toddlers (and some children) are nervous and apprehensive when visiting a dentist for the first time. And parents often know best how to keep children calm and collected while you work on their teeth. And some children do wonderfully when their parents arent around but that should be the parents decision, not the decision of someone we are paying for services.I explained to the Hygenist that I was uncomfortable with signing the document and she immediately went back behind the front counter and whispered something to her coworker. Im not sure what she said but it didnt make me feel comfortable in the way she handled the situation.Later, I was informed they would only see my child(ren) if we purchased a full set of x-rays even though we asked if we could use x-rays from our previous dentist within the last six months.I was told there would be an associated cost with requesting x-rays from our previous dentist of $20 per child (I have four children).I explained that our Dental Insurance covers exams and cleanings (and x-rays) every six months with no out-of-pocket cost other than the semi-monthly premiums.The Dentist came out and explained that I would need to pay $29 after insurance covers their portion for x-rays even though our Dental Insurance has confirmed that we should not be charged as were in network.I am a firm believer that customer service is essential and prudent when it comes to operating a business. If you have a patient (or parent) that seems uncomfortable or has questions about certain policies and/or practices, I would encourage you to speak with them and put their minds to ease vs ignoring or making the matter worse.I left the office extremely upset and disappointed in the lack of customer service, transparency and willingness to assist.Im not sure if my experience was an isolated matter or if I didnt fully understand th situation, but I will not be visiting this dentist nor recommending them to friends and family as they were unwilling to help.

At first, everything was fine and then the results of my sons X-rays did not give me good results and in the end they did not even give me the record of the visit
