The front desk service was helpful and incredibly kind. I signed up for a membership after my first massage with them today.We did a couples massage with Hot Himalayan Salt Stone enhancement with Leidy -Kelsey and Maria. I also added the deep tissue massage with Maria. AMAZING!We are so happy with the service we received from beginning to end. The masseuse was very attentive asking questions along the way to make sure I was comfortable the entire time.

This was my first facial ever and was an amazing experience. Maria took her time to explain the process and the at home care I should be completing. She recommended products for me to use and explained how to use them properly. I will definitely be looking into getting a monthly facial from here on out

I came for the first time to Hand & Stone in Frisco (Preston) with very high expectations and in need of relaxation. I was greeted by Jordan who was courteous, profesional and diligent at the front desk. I was taken to my room for a massage session with Jennifer (Chong Juan) a Chinese woman with poor English skills and a horrible attitude. She proceded to explain that her massage was mainly “elbow massage” and when I questioned her about that technique she was bother about my inquiry. The massage lasted 20 minutes of elbow pressure and when I questioned her about this she told me to leave and stormed out of the room. What an unpleasant experience.

Jennifer was by far the greatest therapist I ever had. Booking her every single time. Most enjoyable massage experience! Nubia the receptionist was so polite in assisting all of my questions prior to the massage and afterwards. I cannot recommend a better place! 10/10

I highly recommend Jade if you are a light pressure person. I prefer light pressure (but not super light), and yet typically still feel some discomfort and tender areas when I ask for light pressure. Jade was the best light pressure I’ve ever received! He listened to my specific area requests and was very respectful!

I have been to this H&S location as well as others in different cities. I’ve never had an issue with getting facials here and Leanne was to die for. Best facial I’ve gotten! She was a sweetheart.The negative experience I had included a “massage” that1. Started VERY late because my masseuse stood there and talked nonstop before I could even get undressed.2. Once I was laying down, she was rustling towels around and took her time. It had to be at least 20 minutes after my appointment time.3. She starts “massaging” me, but there was 0 pressure. She was rubbing lotion on my back like someone does when you get sunscreen on your back. No pressure was applied for more than 3 seconds. She did not massage or touch my shoulders.4. She called me “healthy” which is definitely meant to mean fat, let’s not pretend otherwise. She talked the whole time about how our bodies heal by eating vegetables and she made subliminal messages about not needing man made stuff (probably talking about COVID vaccine) to heal ourselves. Kinda weird.5. She kept laying towels over my body and gently, very lightly squeezing my skin and then picking them up. This accounted for most of my massage.6. She again, didn’t touch my shoulders or neck. Barely touched the bottom part of my legs. My massage lasted less than 40 minutes even though it’s paid for an hour.7. I then get a facial and Leanne gives me more of a massage than I got the previous hour beforehand. Sad.8. I spoke with the manager and she said I can get some hot stones or something for my next $70-$100 purchase. Refuses refund or credit, won’t reschedule to makeup for the hour of lost time and hour of lost money. She’s responding to all of these reviews saying to give her a call or email, but she won’t actually rectify any situation. How is my experience acceptable?I won’t be coming back 🤷🏻‍♀️

My sister gifted me a massage or facial in May for my birthday shes a member in NY. I finally redeemed it on 8/26/21 and I have to say my first impression was very positive from the moment I was greeted by Allie. Maybe it was in the intrancing aroma that hypnotized me but I felt very relaxed from the moment I entered. Nicole was my masseuse and I opted for a full body massage that I didnt want to end. As I was leaving Allie mentioned to me about the membership, flexibility, plus perks and waiving the enrollment fee if I joined that day. There was no pressure and Im of the age that Ive been through a lot of these point of sale endings that I polietly declined offer. In conclusion I spoke with my sister and she had nothing to say but great things about being a member plus if for any reason I decided I was done I was not obligated in anyway with a 30 day noticed. This membership is probably going to be more of an addiction. My appt was 11:00 and by 4:30 I was back speaking with Allie about joining, which I did. I had no idea she was the manager, what an outstanding enthusiastic individual you have working for you. People like this are indeed a great asset to your company and clientele. CHOOSE ANOTHER MASSAGE PLACE.If I could give Zero stars I would. I had absolutely the worst experience ever. I am pregnant and was really looking forward to getting a massage. At first they wouldn’t accommodate to the pressure or firmness I requested which was already a red flag because I’m asking for a specific service and they already told me I had to stick with who they put me with and the pressure the masseuse does didn’t match what I wanted. Before we could even start the masseuse told me she wasn’t going to give me a massage because she doesn’t do prenatal. I booked this appointment more than A WEEK in advance. It is very unprofessional to attach me with someone who doesn’t even do prenatal massages. To make matters worse they told me because she wouldn’t do it I had to reschedule. This place is not accommodating AT ALL they made a mistake and did NOTHING to fix their error. I came in for a service and due to their mess up I couldn’t get what I wanted and very much needed. I don’t have time in my schedule to just come back whenever it’s convenient for them. For this establishment to make this big of an error and do nothing to fix it is immensely unprofessional. Will not be back.

If you were trying to surprise your wife with a massage only to be cancelled by the spa, this is definitely the place for you! Not only that but giving just 3 days advance notice leaves me zero other options for a Saturday morning appointment. Yes, individual circumstances come up, but offering no solutions for a customer is unacceptable. I asked what can be done, answer: “have her come in 8 full hours after the original appointment for an opening”. When told that won’t work, I was met with silence.

My fiancé and I went for facials and it was a great experience. Maria did my facial and she was absolutely fantastic! She knew exactly what my face needed and I am still glowing the day after. She also recommended some great products as well as a routine to follow. They will definitely see me again :)

My husband scheduled a massage and facial for me weeks ago and 15 minutes BEFORE MY SERVICE they called to cancel my massage. No compensation offered, no attempts to make it right, just oh we can still get you in for your facial. These people are horrible and I do not suggest you go there!!! BEWARE.

I was excited to get my facial done here but was disappointed with the experience. Maria did facial for me. She told me that facial would be 50 mins and not 60 as it is advertised. Those 50 mins included me unchanging and changing back , so the facial was just 40 mins in total or less. Which is unlike other places I get my facial where they go an entire hour. Also, my facial did not include neck and shoulder massage which again most places include on their facial. In fact I even have gotten hand and leg massages during facial treatments before. I was only given a scalp massage.Disappointed with my overall experience. I was hoping for much more with the $155 I spent.

I’m very disappointed in the way this location handled my need to reschedule an appt. I called at 2pm to see if I could reschedule my 8pm appt because I found out I had to go out of town unexpectedly. The girl that answered the phone told me I would be charged for half the amount of the service per their company policy since I was cancelling within 24 hours. I explained it was due to circumstances beyond my control and I would reschedule to next week when I returned and would appreciate it if they granted me an exception, She put me on hold to ask her manager, and of course, the manager said no because I wasn’t a club member. Its really a shame because they weren’t more understanding because they have lost a customer for life, I get company policy but sometimes kindness can inspire a very loyal customer. I normally use Sienna Massage but was given a gift certificate here from my kids. Needless to say, I will be back at Sienna massage where they have more empathy for life situations and realize things can and will happen to customers and sometimes with their massage therapists. I have always been very understanding when a massage therapist was sick or had a personal emergency. I certainly did ask for credit for half of the service.UPDATE: I did email the manager per their request and so far they haven’t responded back. Tells me it was a canned response to a bad review and they didn’t really want to make it right.

Extremely disappointed in my experience with them. Booked a couples massage 24 hours in advance and when we arrived we were told that they wouldn’t be able to get us in due to one of the therapists running late. Would have been nice to receive a call or a text before driving all the way out there. All they were able to do was apologize and give us a $10 coupon for a $200+ service. Definitely will not be returning.

I did not have any kind of experience at Hand and Stone because of complete lack of communication. Upon arrival, I was told they have bad news for me because my scheduled therapist did not show up. No one bothered to call and notify me. They did offer the next available appointment within 1.5 hours, but I was having really bad back pain and need help at the scheduled time. I wound up going a mile down the road and getting the massage I very much needed. I will not be considering Hand and Stone again as a simple lack in communication, especially as first impression, goes a really long way...

Maria is very Kind, Knowledgeable and gives a great and relaxing facial.The 3 Stars is for the check out process, it is always a challenge to use “Packages”, because of COVID I was unable to get in as much as I would have liked this year. I have accumulated approximately $800 in “package credits”. It’s real money that I have paid and they have so it’s always disappointing that it is such a challenge to get the money applied to the service. Ultimately it worked out but not without frustration which is what one does not want after such a wonderful relaxing service. That’s the point of this business, so always disappointing to have challenges checking out. Also if I would have simply given a 5 star review they would give me a $10 credit. I would rather share with them what needs to improve to make the entire experience a pleasure.

I came in for a facial mostly to get extractions, but Blair was helpful beyond that. I told her what my current skincare routine was and she was able to pinpoint that I was over-exfoliating, and she adjusted my facial a little bit to help soothe my skin!During the facial, Blair was super sweet and definitely made me feel like I was in good hands. At one point, she said “I know how frustrating it is to deal with acne, so don’t worry we’ll get you taken care of,” which was really assuring to hear. She performed extractions on my cheeks and forehead and none of them left any scars!Afterwards, she recommended a new skincare routine for me and emphasized that I need to repair my skin barrier and lock in moisture, so I’ve been using a hyaluronic acid serum and the dermologica moisturizer that she recommended. My skin has been looking much brighter and clearing up very quickly in just 5 days. I’ll be coming in for another facial in a couple weeks :)

I just had my second massage with Dominique. He is absolutely amazing! He doesnt just follow a generic routine for every massage. Instead, he listens to you - both what you tell him before the massage and what your muscles tell him as he works - and tailors the massage to exactly what you need. Perfect pressure to be both relaxing and effective. The facilities are great, and the front desk staff are helpful and friendly. Will keep coming back!

I scheduled a hot stone massage and a facial.My massage started 20 mins after my appointment was set. The massage therapist was the nicest lady ever, but my massage was so awkward. It was not relaxing. Very quick and jerky. No pressure. Wasnt a true full body at all. I felt like I was just slathered down with oil and lightly rubbed. It was so noisy between the clanking of lids and stones and cabinets and talking.I had a facial with Blair and she did a great job and explained everything she was doing. Didnt give me any ideas of what products to use for better skincare though. Not sure if they push their own products or recommend outside products. My skin feels great though.
