I have been going to Forest Dental Cafe ever since I move to TX 4 years ago. It was a tooth emergency that drove me to look for a dentist close by, and I am so glad I found Dr. Kim. Not only are he and his staff friendly and knowledgeable, he is highly skilled and efficient. He always takes the time to explain options and procedures to ensure I understand, and I appreciate that his office has all of the latest medical equipment. Forest Dental Cafe was absolutely amazing. I needed a implant and they made the experience so smooth and simple for me. I was in and out and am going back for my crown very soon. Dr. Kim was very welcoming and explained very thoroughly about what the treatment would be and the steps leading up to the finished new crown. It was my second visit and absolutely love this place. My crown was bothering me for few months and being new to this area, it took me a while to find a good dentist. Both of my visits (I went after work which I love) the clinic was clean, friendly and doctor/staff were professional. I was super nervous to go to the dentist because with my previous dentist, during/after the treatment was so painful but Dr. Kim was very gentle, he made me feel at ease and explained everything to me- I am amazed how well it went. I felt very comfortable at the clinic and so far Im happy with the service.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Kim and his staff. They are always accommodating when scheduling my appointments, and very welcoming when I walk through the door. Going to the dentist has always been one of my least favorite things, however, Dr. Kim does a great job making sure I am comfortable before, during, and after all of my appointments. I was so scared having to get two crowns, but Dr. Kim made sure I was extra numb and made the entire process extremely comfortable for me. He was also very patient and meticulous in reshaping my crown to make sure my bite was just right. The lady (I cant remember her name) who does my cleanings is also wonderful. Shes extremely nice and very thorough. Forest Dental also offers payment programs for uninsured patients, which is something I really appreciate. Overall I would highly recommend Dr. Kim and his staff!

Dr.Kim is courteous, but definitely not honest. If you want to be charged for procedures that aren’t needed and you and your family used as cash cows, this is the dentist for you.After 4 years of expensive procedures for my family and me, I have realized Dr Kim was advising us to have unnecessary procedures and only offering the most expensive options.As for all the comments about the rude receptionist - those comments are accurate. She’s not only rude, but condescending.

I had high hopes for this place, I went for the first time to do a tooth filling and it was the worst experience I ever had with a dentist!I was supposed to get fillings for my two front teeth, but after he was done and I left the place I found out that one tooth was SCRATCHY! And the other was looking so weird that the two teeth didn’t look any close to each other..I went back and he was like “ oh I didn’t know you want them to be the same!!!!” He was working on fixing that and obviously he wasn’t having enough time because another patient was waiting so he kept carving my tooth instead of fixing the filling itself!!Anyway since this visit I’m having a sensitive tooth that a month later after that I still can’t eat or drink properly because of this visit.I even had another appointment to do other stuff because as I mentioned I really had high hopes but he was a complete disappointment that I canceled my appointment and never returned.

I brought 2 of my kids here because they advertise themselves as a pediatric dentist. Lets be clear, they are NOT a pediatric dentist. They dont even have the right kind of equipment to do an x-ray on childs teeth. They ended up referring me to an actual pediatric dentist because they couldnt complete the exam (but still billed me for it), which is great because my dental insurance only allows 2 exams per year and the non-exam they got here used up one of them.My wife came here for some dental work and the receptionist was rude to both her and me. I came back a few weeks later to pick up some prescription toothpaste and the receptionist was again rude to me for no reason. Their receptionist should be fired immediately.The dentist here is not licensed to write prescriptions in Texas. I discovered this after my wife requested a sedative prior to having some painful dental work done. The dentist at first refused to prescribe it because he said he doesnt think she needs it. After I argued with him about it at length, he finally admitted that he isnt licensed to write prescriptions. What kind of dentist cant write prescriptions???

Before I found Forest Dental Cafe, I would cancel appointments because I dreaded the dentist and all the equipment being in my face. The first time here, I was nervous and calmed immediately when Keri greeted me. Later Keri showed me the selection of plans which helped me save money. I had a root canal scheduled, didnt cancel the appointment, and scheduled through with Dr. Kim until my crown was placed. I went back during this month of August for a cleaning and actually looked forward to all of the staffs happy attitudes. Dr. Kim is wonderful. Many people where I live think so also. After my cleaning he varnished my crowns and they looked brand new. Very happy with everything they do and offer at Forest Dental Cafe. The environment is just wonderful.

I was looking for a Dentist and happened to walk into Forest Dental Cafe and was immediately greeted by the staff and Dr.Kim. I set an appt with them for myself and my 3 yr old. He did a thorough exam and cleaning, complete with x-rays. The dentist can be a bit frustrating and unpleasant experience, Dr. Demian, Kari, and staff do their best to make it comfortable and convenient. They are also very time effective, my regular cleanings are done within an hour. Highly recommend.

Best dentist ever, so I was pulled in by coffee and pain. Got the coffee it was amazing but not as amazing as the doctor. He fixed the pain I have been running around with since April because the other Dentist in another office couldn’t couldn’t fix it. I was very disappointed. I was trying to get a straight forward answer to a simple yes or no question about billing and services and I was given the run around and never did get a straight forward answer. I find it very sad they feel they have to dance around the answer.

After putting off some major dental work the past few years, I did some research and found Dr. Kim out in Frisco. During my first visit we conducted some x-rays to identify the main problem areas, which Dr. Kim and LeAndra laid out a proper treatment plan that catered to my specific needs. Over the past month Dr. Kim has been able to successfully diagnose my situation, perform a root canal, temporary & permanent crown fitting, multiple fillings, and he even threw in a cleaning! Dr Kim was very knowledgeable and I had absolutely no pain after any of my visits. I think LeAndra is a perfect compliment to Dr. Kim, and was so grateful that Mrs. Kari helped me set up a payment plan so I could actually afford all this amazing work. Im extremely thankful for the entire team at Forest Dental Cafe, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work at a great price.

Its taken me a long time do this review, but a year ago I had visited the location for a teeth clean. The location is very nice and staff is friendly. New everything.. He let me know I did need a crown, the first crown I have ever needed. I said ok, when the day comes it all goes very smooth until he tells me that he accidentally shaved off some of my other tooth, so now I need TWO CROWNS. For a mistake that will be with me forever all he had to offer was a set of free teeth cleaning supplies. Since the visit I havent been able to eat on that side of my mouth as it hurts when I chew. I will be visiting another dentist to fix the issue however I was extremely disappointed and would not recommend this place to anyone..

I highly recommend Forest Dental Café. Dr. Kim is an excellent dentist who is calm, patient and very skilled. He is not only skilled in the art and science of dentistry but has a talent to make anxious patients like me feel at ease. His Dental Assistant LeAndra was excellent and did a superb job in taking all the X-Rays and assisting with the cleaning. As soon as I set foot in the clinic I felt a very welcoming and calm environment. Kari, the Office Manager, was very polite, knowledgeable and helpful. She provided me with some options and explained all the financial aspects of the procedures. She was very helpful in processing all of my new patient information and even checked up on me a few days later to see how I was feeling. Kari also helped me navigate through the Care Credit process and followed up with the company on my behalf.The best part about Dr. Kim and his team is that you do not feeling like a patient, but rather like a part of their family. You are treated with quality care and Dr. Kim and team go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. For example, I had a chipped tooth in the back and it just felt rough every time my tongue touched it. Dr. Kim polished the chip and now the area is smooth. Things like this, although very simple, make all the difference to patients. Dr. Kim also does not promote any services that you do not need. He only tells you what you need to do to get your teeth healthy and strong.This truly is unlike any dentist office I have been to. Besides the fresh smell of Nespresso coffee and IPads for patients to use, the best part of Forest Dental Café are people like Dr. Kim, Kari and LeAndra.
