Bethesda Gardens is one of the best ALF that I have had the privilege to work in as a Physical Therapist! I have worked in many many places throughout the metroplex and this is by far my favorite! They care for their residents well and encourage involvement in activities that enhance their quality of life. The staff, management and caregivers are caring and helpful and the residents all feel like family. I would not hesitate in recommending Bethesda Gardens as a quality living environment for your loved one. ♥

They did an amazing job keeping their residents and staff safe through the pandemic. They consistently provide compassionate care even in the most difficult of situations. The management staff works hard to keep families informed.

My wife and I visited no fewer than 5 Assisted Living locations, but passed right by 2 others. When we visited Bethesda Gardens, what struck me most was how all the residents interacted with each other. No one was isolated by themselves and the conversation was free and easy among the residents. There was a genuine feeling of warmth and family. We had been to one facility where we noticed that when we came around a corner, the activity director would suddenly explode into activity, suddenly grabbing startled residents hands and trying to get them to move around. She called it dancing.Just wrong.Bethesda Gardens residents appear truly happy to me, and my father is very happy to learn that there are other engineers at this facility. All things being equal, it is the ability to socialize that makes this the better facility. Best decision weve ever made: my dad is still THRILLED with the place.

When it came time to place our mother into assisted living for her own safety and welfare, we visited and interviewed a large number of facilities in the Dallas area. We are very pleased with our decision to move her to Bethesda Gardens. Everyone at Bethesda is compassionate, patient, and professional. We feel secure in entrusting the care of our mom to the staff at Bethesda. This trust has been proven well-placed especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. Whereas assisted living and retirement communities around the country have been ravaged by this terrible pandemic, Bethesda Gardens has done an admirable job of keeping all the residents safe, while also maintaining a healthy and stimulating living environment. We certainly recommend Bethesda Gardens for the care and well-being of your loved one.

We moved my 98 year old mother from Odessa to Bethesda Gardens. She is very happy and so are we. The staff members are very attentive and caring people. They truly give 100% percent and care about their residents.

Be very cautious about this place. I had to move my aunt out of here because of the poor care. If you dont need any assistance this place might work for you. But be careful of the promises. Get everything in writing but it still might not be enough.

VERY CONCERNED//SCARED TO DEATH///NO CONFIDENCEMy aunt is a resident of Bethesda Gardens is constantly calling me to come and get her. I do not live close and work full time and have no way to care for her. She is very scared. There is an outbreak of the Covid with many staff having been infected and residents as well. She also said that two residents at her place have recently died from Covid. Another has been in the hospital. One of the residents told her it was from Covid. Not all of the current residents accepted the vaccine that was offered and very few of the staff did as well. She keeps asking the aides that she comes into contact with if they have had the vaccine and most say no. She says that she constantly has new people and they are not being tested or vaccinated. She does not think the organization is taking the issue seriously as some families are taking their residents in and out. Frustrated with no where to go. Be very Careful if you are considering this place for a family member.

Our Sweet Mom has been a resident at Bethesda Gardens for six months and my brother and I are so grateful for the steadfast care she receives every day. One of the qualities we appreciate most is the authentic desire to help, as uniquely evidenced by each staff member. There does not seem to be even a hint of a but thats not my job attitude; youll find the Executive Director kindly styling a Residents hair prior to supper, and the talented Chef has held the door for our familys arrivals and departures more times than I can count. Our family has cherished this approach tremendously, as we are convinced that collaboration seems to be key for this particular staff. Our family has been extra thankful for the meticulous housekeeping that takes place, as our beloved Moms little apartment shows like a home that is cleaned regularly and expertly. We are so grateful for the faithful provision of yummy meals and medicine, and for the creative offers available for socialization. Best of all, hearing our own Moms patent affection and respect for her caregivers (we are very familiar with the tones in her voice that convey these gifts) has been such a balm to our hearts.

My mom has been a resident of Bethesda Gardens for a year and a half and we are extremely pleased with the care she receives! It is a great comfort to know that all of the staff and care givers are kind, caring, and respectful. The entire Bethesda community exhibits a homey atmosphere where people truly care about the well-being of the residents. Suggestions are always welcome and acted upon quickly and they work hard to maintain a level of excellence in every aspect of care. The activities director and assistant continually strive to provide interesting and new opportunities for the residents to enjoy! We are so thrilled we to have found Bethesda Gardens for my moms home!

My mom was a resident at Bethesda Gardens for 3 years and it was a great experience. No assisted living place is perfect, but they did enough right to make Mom and myself happy here. The management is very caring and the staff was very flexible in helping mom with her needs while staying here. Unfortunately my moms dementia progressed along with a few other conditions that required a Memory care facility in which a 24 hour nursing staff was present. Bethesda Gardens management was very helpful in the transition which was much appreciated. I would definitely recommend considering Bethesda Gardens as an assisted living facility for a loved one.
