We drove 3 hours for an appointment for my wife.. got there and was told my Daughter was not allowed in the office at all... If I had not accompanied my wife she would have made a 3 hour drive for no reason.. something like a child not being allowed in the office should be said when the appointment is made... My wife is dyslexic and prefers help filling out the paperwork. while I was helping fill out the paperwork they wouldnt even allow my daughter in the waiting room she was being well behaved sitting quietly. They told me we had to fill out the paperwork in the hall way. I am disgusted with the treatment of my family you need to do better

My experience with this OBGYN was not only horrific, but it also was extremely traumatizing. At 6.5 weeks pregnant, I began to have some spotting and visited my amazing OBGYN (not Dr. Woods). He assured me that everything should be fine. However, he wanted me to get an ultrasound and RH negative shot. Due to my HMO, I had to go to Dr. Woods office. Upon entering the Ultrasound tech room, the tech said that everything looked good, but they couldnt see the baby yet due to how far along I was. She said that she was going to do an intra-vaginal ultrasound and have the Dr. (Dr. Woods) come in and take a look. Prior to this visit, I had never spoke with or met Dr. Woods. She did not know anything about me, or my medical history. After changing and beginning the second ultrasound, the Dr. entered the room. She began to look at the screen, and then the conversation proceeded as followsDr W: Why are you here?Me: I had explained what was going on, and why I was there.Dr W: Uhhhhh, I dont know what you are talking about. Youre not pregnant. Did you even take a test?Me (who at this moment was shocked and getting scared): Yesss. I took 6 tests, and they confirmed it at my OBGYNs office.Dr W: Well I dont know what you are even talking about because youre not pregnant. There is no baby in there, and if there was, it is dead.Needless to say, I was in extreme shock and horror. The conversation proceeded in a condescending and rude tone. I was treated as if I was a complete and absolute imbecile, and I was wasting her and everyone elses time. She proceeded to tell me that there was no baby, and I had no reason to be there. She began to leave and asked the tech if I needed anything else. The tech replied that I needed the RH negative shot. Dr. Woods replied, I dont see the point, but you might as well.After receiving the shot, she reentered the room. I asked her what to expect next (hoping for real answers on how to proceed). She replied, Well if you are pregnant like you say you are, you will miscarry and then get pregnant again.My husband and I left her office mortified, traumatized, and completely grief stricken. Dr. Woods should not be seeing patients, especially those in a hormonal and delicate state. I lost my precious little one 3 days later after trying for a significant amount of time. Thank you Dr. Woods for making my experience worse and leaving me in a irreconcilable state.

I Absolutely LOVE Everyone at this Office. Everyone is Extremely Nice,Friendly and they throughly Explain everything. Thank You for All You do For your patients. Your The Best!

Dont let the one Star be a reflection on the nurses or office as a whole. The receptionist ladies, and nurses are so nice. We have loved every experience with them so far. And Dr woods was really nice most of the time. But the last visit we had was by far the worst experience we have ever had at a Dr . My wife is diabetic and our little baby boy has been getting a little bigger since last visit. When Dr Woods came in she looked at the CPU and the results and didnt even acknowledge my wife. She basically shrugged her shoulders and said oh well, thats what you get with diabetic babies and walked out. Not one word to me or my wife, nothing. My wife has been working really hard to control her diabetes. Shes been doing so good since we find out we were pregnant. I get the Dr might have been having a bad day, but my wife has been crying all day and feels like a complete failure and that shes letting our baby down. Im so disappointed in this Dr today. I hope nobody EVER has to experience what we did today. Dr woods. Please try and have a little more compassion towards your patients.UPDATE: Dr called and apologized and talked with my wife. Feeling a little better about the situation. Thank you for calling and showing care and concern. Changed to 3 stars
