My visit at Fogg Remington Eye Care was great! From the moment I walked in to the moment I checked out, everyone was so professional and courteous. Dr. Chavez was excellent! Would highly recommend, you will not be disappointed it. This place is awesome πŸ‘

Owned by an extremely opinionated and misinformed member of the board of directors for CUSD. Dr. Foggs incompetence can clearly be seen from the board meeting on July 29th, obviously showing a lack of research and care in making decisions to better the lives of children returning to school.

Two Dr Foggs have treated my eye care, first the father (now retired) & now the son. I have faith in their care & will be having laser surgery in both eyes one week apart. I also have a prescription for new classes due to changes in my vision.

This establishment has gone downhill since Dr. Lanier retired. The wait times are horrendous. The customer service is deplorable. The optometrist who saw me was curt and somewhat rude. When I had to go back for a follow up appointment for my eye exam it was billed as a medical appointment instead of an optometry follow up and I was forced to pay for it out of pocket rather than having my vision insurance cover it. Ive heard of billing departments using particular medical codes to inflate billing costs and it seems that this is what happened to me. Billing my follow up appointment through my vision insurance wouldnt have made them as much money so they erroneously billed it as a medical appointment to jack up the charges I guess. Very shady billing practices.

**HIGHLY RECOMMEND**Generations of my family have, and continue to go to this practice. Doctors are wonderful, ambiance is wonderful, office is clean and kid friendly, with minimal wait timehowever over the past 2-3 years the receptionists(especially phone reps) offer horrid service. Honestly, if I had no prior knowledge of the facility, I would hang up the phone, and that would be the end of our interaction.Anywho, 3 stars for that purpose...if the receptionists offered better service, be kind, and act as though they care about patients I would have gladly rated this office a 5 out of 5.We hope youre enjoying your retirement Dr. Lanier!

I visited the office due to a sty that lingered for more than 2 months. I was seen by Dr. fogg which suggested I have it drained. So we drained it that same day and after 1 and a half week passed and no change to my eye I contacted the office and explained the situation. The doctor suggested I return as follow up to have the checked out. I called and asked if I would be charged for the visit. NO, because it is a follow up. Was the reply. On the day of I asked again at front desk. Same answer was given, He spoke to me for 5 minutes and suggested that it may be another gland acting up , which I knew was bogus because the first one took 2 months to get that big so I knew that a 2nd one wouldnt get that way in 2 weeks. He didnt do it right the first time is what it was! So I went home. Weeks later I receive a bill for that visit for 80 bucks.. I called to resolve and got bounced around and they even said they spoke to Fogg himself which of course said that the charge would stand..I can see he NEEDS the money more than Eye. lol. Never again ! God bless you Dr. Fogg.

I will never go here again nor do I recommend using them as your primary eye care. I went in for an eye exam because I knew that my vision was not what it should be and I was also suffering from headaches. I have never worn glasses before so I was really trying to get all of the information that I could out of that appointment. They did the normal eye exam, glaucoma test, and what not, ask me what I did as a profession as so on. I told them that I am an accountant and am on a computer all day. I felt like at that moment they automatically wrote me off as just needing reading glasses and completely ignored everything else that I told them in regards to not being able to read street signs or see at night, etc. So they prescribed me reading glasses that I did not need because I can see close up things and I could not use them while driving, so waste of money on those glasses. Stanton Optical was able to get me the glasses I needed and I can actually see now, a few years later they also detected early glaucoma and I am now being treated for it.

This office has gone downhill since Dr Lanier retired. Long story short they billed my sons follow up eye exam through my medical insurance instead of my vision insurance. Even after speaking with the billing department and letting them know my vision covered follow up appointments they refused to bill the visit through my vision insurance. I was forced to pay for the visit out of pocket which is just absurd because, like I said, I have vision insurance just for this purpose. And since Dr Lanier retired I’ll be finding another vision care center for my special needs child, the current Doctors just don’t cut it.

I woke up the other morning and my eye was in super pain thought I probably had pinkeye called them and the receptionist asked if I could come in right now and asked if I was ok to drive...so I went there immediately and was seen by Dr. Remington and he looked at my eye and said β€œgood thing you came in you probably would have lost your eye you have a cornea ulcer”what I’m trying to say is they are great got me in and knew what they were doing...I’ll go no where else..

My boy’s appointment was for 10am and we were told to arrive 15 minutes early. It’s now 12:01pm and we’re still waiting to be seen. Trying to entertain a hungry and bored toddler for two hours is painful. Do NOT make an appointment at this location unless you are prepared to spend the better part of your morning or afternoon waiting.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!! Especially to see Dr. Maxwell! Every appointment I would login and wait 20 minutes (after my appointment was scheduled) to be called back. I was coming here every few months and they would still ask the same questions and have no records of previous questions, everything would have to be reentered. I always needed an extra scan and would let the person know, they would always forget and not give it to me. After going through the questions and pressure test I would sit again for 10-20 minutes. I would get called back and then be told I need the scan that I had been telling the first person I needed. I would wait 5 minutes to get that scan and then be put in the chair waiting for the doctor. Another 5-15 minute wait. Once Dr. Maxwell came in he would look at my eyes and say not better and be done. His assistant would tell me that she was going to send the results to my neurologist, this never happened. Usually took 2-3 calls from me and my neurologist for them to send the scans. Well the original documents are in color, but would send a black and white scan to my neurologist. The notes would be no change. The last time I was told no change in my condition, I was about to get another procedure and many MRIs. I saw a neuro-opthamologist back at home who told me I was actually cured and slowly healing. I almost had a needle in my spine again because of Dr. Maxwells negligence. I tried to talk to the office manager who never returned my phone call. I only went here because my insurance would only cover this clinic (I am from out of town). I will never go back here and would suggest for people to stay away!

This review is specifically for Dr. Lanier only. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Dill’s for over 20 years and will continue to see him. But I will NEVER take my children back to Dr. Lanier.I brought my twin 2-yr olds in for an eye exam after their pediatrician recommended it. I brought all my reinforcements (snacks, apple sauce, sippy cups, cartoons on my tablet) just in case the appt took a long time. The girls did great until it was time for the exam. Since it was a dark room and they weren’t familiar with the eye technician they started crying. When she started putting the lenses next to their eyes, my sensitive twin starting freaking out and hysterically crying because she was scared. I tried my best to calm her down. Dr. Lanier walks in and β€œshushes” my girls and says β€œgosh, we have 2 fussy babies!” At first I thought she was kidding, but she was completely serious. She then patted the technician on the shoulder and asked if she needed help dealing with my fussy girls. Mind you, this was their very first eye dr appt ever. The technician walks out after examining them and Dr Lanier walks back in and says β€œgreat now I have to deal with the fussy babies’!” I was so mad at this point and wanted to leave. But I just wanted to finish the appt. I’m trying to control them the best that I can. My mom who was at the appt with me casually mentioned to Dr. Lanier how it’s been a tough year for me and how I lost a bunch of weight running after the twins. Then Dr. Lanier had the audacity to say β€œya, I was thinking to myself that you’re probably anorexic!!!” I found her comment to be highly unprofessional and inappropriate. I’m not anorexic but I am dealing with some health issues. As a medical professional, I felt she should’ve kept her comment to herself. Especially since she has no idea about my medical history. That was it for me. I’ll go back to see Dr Dill. But I’ll never take my girls to see her ever again! I thought she would’ve had more patience being an eye dr for kids.
