Fig Garden Optometry and Dr. Jensen were amazing! It was my first time there and they made me feel as if they were welcoming me into their home. They explained everything in detail. Everything was very clean. Dr. Jensen had knowledge that I hadn’t heard before. She explains things in a way that makes sense and is happy to answer questions. I highly recommend going to them!

Excellent and courteous staff. They took care of everything for me. Had a fantastic experience. Dr. Jensen is absolutely amazing! My children LOVE her (which means a lot when your children are 3, 6, and 9). She was very patient and explained everything in detail. Their office gives you that intimate private practice feel while at the same time having a good size room to look at different frames. The last eye Dr. I went to had such a tiny office I felt like I was in a closet. Such a relief to find a practice thats a perfect fit for our family.

The doctors are wonderful and Dr. Jensen is the best! However, this past week I had a little sour experience with a front staff. She wanted my medical insurance to keep on file and I asked if it was required. She said yes, I said I thought it was voluntary because I dont like giving more information than is needed due to cybersecurity. She already has my vision insurance and thats all it should be required. She insisted it was required and I repeated myself. She stated she would write I declined to provide medical insurance on my file and I would have to talk to the doctor. Her tone was threatening and arrogant. Long story short, she made my daughter wait 25 minutes past the appointment time. She allowed four other appointments to go before us. Two of the appointments were at a later time after our appointment time. We arrived there 20 minutes before our appointment, so ended up waiting 45 minutes total. I was very disappointed. I discretely approached the patients and asked them at what time their appointment was. I did mention it to the doctor before we left and she was very apologetic about it.Keep in mind folks, they dont need your health insurance unless they are doing a medical procedure not covered by your vision insurance. You should only provide it when this time arrives. Cybersecurity is a big problem and the more information you volunteer that is not needed, the more problems you will have to worry about if a criminal breaks into a network. This office has a very small server and I did not see physical firewall hardware while there. Its better to be safe than sorry. That front staff person I mentioned has very little education and she doesnt understand the degree of this problem.

I really like the staff here. The doctors are great and everyone is friendly. I appreciate that the doctors don’t rush through my appointments but take the time to explain things and answer my questions.

I have been so fortunate to have been a patient at Fig Garden optometry for over 40 years. During those 40 years I have on certain occasions gone to other eye doctors, but Dr. Krohn doesn’t seem to miss any details in regards to my eye health; thus, further vision problems and deterioration have been prevented. Also one time I had an emergency with one of my eyes, and i was able to call after hours and speak to one of the other doctors who was on call. I received the best of care and the issue was resolved. Personally, I will not trust my eyes with anyone else.

This was our first time here at fig garden optometry and it was AMAZING!!! My son had his 4year checkup at his doctor and they said he didn’t pass their eye test so to go and see about getting him checked out at the optometrist. After looking at a few places I saw some of the reviews for this place and decided to make an appointment. I’m so glad we did. Everyone there was so nice and very professional. From the time we went in to the time we left, each and every person we dealt with was so nice and the doctor was amazing. My son was a little scared to go and see the eye doctor but after we left he kept saying how much he wanted to go back. This place is great and I highly recommend it to anyone, especially those with children in need of an optometrist. Thank you fig garden optometry for the great experience!!!

Fig Garden Optometry is terrific. Dr. Krohn did more tests on my eyes than Ive ever had, and Ive warn glasses for over 70 years. He then showed me the results and explained them to me. No other eye doctor has ever done that. Such a relief to see I have no symptoms of macular degeneration, which plagued my mom in her older years. He also explained why I see double part of the time, and recommended prisms in my glasses to correct this. Brilliant! I have not yet picked up my glasses, and am excited to have new glasses without double vision.

I have seen many different optometrists around the country over my lifetime of wearing glasses and contacts, and working with Fig Garden Optometry and Alesha Jensen have easily been the best experience.Whats so good about FGO?- Courteous and helpful staff from the moment you walk in.- Efficient appointments, moving quickly between the various steps for an eye exam (I am an engineer working in efficiency, so this kind of thing is always a huge plus to me for businesses!)- Dr. Jensen was incredibly knowledgeable. She did a great job with my prescription, and made it a very pleasant exam!- They made lenses for eyeglass frames I brought in. They were ready quickly, and it was easy to get in to try them out to make sure everything was perfect (even during COVID)I am writing this review 1.5 years after my last visit because I moved out of state and wanted a copy of my records. Somebody returned my phone call within 30 minutes, followed up immediately with an email with info to obtain all of my records online. This is not the kind of thing they HAVE to do quickly, but I hope this review can help steer more patients their way!

She listened and recommended that I be seen. I didn’t expect such a quick evaluation and response. I love Dr. Jensen. Shes sharp, she understands my needs and my preferences which are often different and she gets it. Shes always patient and kind. The opticians are also great. Theyre always bringing in new technology and stay ahead of the curve. Dr. J is usually booked out a ways in advance, but I promise shes well worth the wait!

The testing equipment is state-of-the-art and the pleasant, professional staff were happy to explain the purpose of each test. At the end of my eye exam, Dr. Krohn showed me the difference in vision between my present glasses and my new prescription. Okay good. I can now see better than I have since I was in the third grade. I can see the prices on the cans of peaches on the shelves at the Savemart from three blocks away. Amazing. However, the next time I visit I will need more chocolate.

Reception was great, Amy was great, Dr. Jensen is great at explaining the tests, how they work, what you need to know.Ive literally never had a more pleasant visit to an optometrist. A friend recommended I go here, I’m new to the area and had no idea where to go. I was extremely impressed by the highly educated staff. You can tell they care about you as a patient and help you find the perfect set of glasses and details to lenses based off your day to day life. I was looking forward to my eye appointment this morning. The staff was on time and it only took a few minutes before my name was called. Dr. Terry Cole always makes his patients feel welcome and today was no exception. During my examination, my old contacts and glasses were cleaned and, in just a short time, I was on my way to work. A very pleasant experience!

So happy!!!! I went into the location just to see if they had a good selection of eyewear. And I was very happy that they did plus I was told that they could special order for me. I then asked about an appointment. They had appointments open for the following week - AMAZING! My last place I would have waited until April for an open appointment. I took the appointment and ordered new glasses. I was told around two weeks for my glasses. I was okay with that.... I received a text message six days later letting me know that my glasses were in. AMAZING!!! Oh!!! The young lady that did all the pre exam work was wonderful. So professional and friendly. Again AMAZING!!!
