Brought my 12-year-old border collie mix here who had been getting progressively sicker for the last week and it was clear to me she was needing emergency care or she didnt appear she would make it through the night. We came in at about 6:30 pm, and the front reception area took her into the back immediately and they were very nice. The doctors on duty were compassionate and caring and I could tell they didnt like telling me her prognosis, which was not good as it appeared to be bone cancer, and she was clearly in a lot of pain and going downhill with the temperature at 104 and a very high heart rate. Because she had no or little chance of a recovery they recommended humane euthanasia, which I agreed to. They let me stay in the room with her while they gave her the shots and I was able to say goodbye to my sweet friend that has been with me for 12 years. Staff overall was very kind and the only reason I removed one star was the price was over $1,200, which seemed odd considering Id had x-rays and tests at another veterinary clinic just the day before, and I brought all the paperwork with me from the previous examination, so I couldnt understand why I was being charged for essentially the very same tests again that werent necessary. It is frustrating how so many veterinary clinics in Fresno seem to price gauge and upsell the clients, especially in a town with such a poor economy with many, many poor people. $1,200 seems high for an outcome of a dead animal. But it is what it is.

My husband and I just moved to California when our pup had her first litter. It did NOT go to plan and our girl Velveteen ended up hemorrhaging into her abdomen through her ruptured uterus. When I left her for overnight care and surgery, she was lethargic and not acting like the Velvet I knew. Since her care, she has fully recovered and is being a wonderful mama to her pups. The doctors, techs, and receptionists were all so wonderful. It was such a whirlwind of emotion and fear for our girl’s life, but they took the time to explain things and give us updates. Without the skilled staff, Velvet wouldn’t be with us today. The names I remember are Dr. Kennedy, Dr. Polly, Dr. Shaw, John with finances, and Jessica at reception, but everyone I interacted with were so helpful and gave my girl the best care possible. Thank you can never be enough.

I have taken all 3 of my pups to 24/7 Pet Vets. And each of them received the absolute best care. It is busy at times. Its an EMERGENCY facility. But the staff works tirelessly and professionally. The doctors are amazing. One of my pups had acute pancreatitis. 24/7 Pet Vets kept him over night and kept me updated. It was touch and go, but due to their expertise and care he pulled through. They SAVED his life. That same little fella developed a tumor on his spine. They referred me to an oncologist in LA. Again they SAVED his life. Cant say enough about 24/7 Pet Vets!

I took my dog on a Friday morning. We arrived at about 10am and weren’t admitted until 2pm. Then, we waited inside a waiting room for another 1.5 hour. It was a long waiting time. The doctor finally came to see my pet until the receptionist reminded (?) them we were there still waiting. During my time there, 2 others walked out and asked for the $75 examination fee refund. I thought my dog would be seen more quickly since it’s an emergency center. Prices are higher than your regular vet. One of the receptionists is much more knowledgeable than the other, which I found out later when she was explaining this to someone else and referring them to a non-emergency veterinarian. After my pet was examined and all, I left until about 6pm.

I am so grateful to the hard working and dedicated staff and doctors at 24/7 petvets. I have taken my dog, Bear, there several times, and always grateful for the level of care he received. The prices are reasonable and fair. If I had one complaint, it is that it can sometimes be a long wait to be seen by a doctor. But it’s a hospital, so more urgent cases take priority.Recently, my 15 year old dog, Bear, had to be put down because of his failing health. The staff were so caring and understanding. They prioritized him, and saw him very quickly. I was allowed to say goodbye to him in such a kind and respectful way, that I will remember that experience for the rest of my life.

I have gone to Emergency Pet Vets Many times throughout the years and have spent thousands of dollars there to care for my sick pets. I’ve actually gone and paid money to Go Fund Me Accounts for hurt animals at the hospital. I do not know what happened to this place. I have never ever been treated more poorly in all my life. I was quoted one amount went in I had to pay a different amount was overcharged. The office manager got mad at me when I questioned the bill, then they came out and threw my cat on the counter and told me to get out without giving me any of his prescription or medicine. I was told they would give me some food to hold him up until tomorrow but because I question the bill, told me just to get out! I had to beg to get his prescription and some food to hold them over until the next day after being forced to pay over $3000 to get my cat back . The front office associate is the rudest person I’ve ever met. Do not go there! Do not support them! All you are is $$$ to them! They take advantage of you at your most vulnerable moment when you’re in despair over a sick pet. They are Monsters!!!

No one wants to be in a situation where you need to go to Pet ER in the middle of the night. But if you find yourself in this situation this is the place you want to go!! I have been a handful of times over the years and I wish they could be our family vet permanently. Everyone is so nice, efficient, courteous, knowledgeable, and cares very much for our pets wellbeing. Now you probably will have to wait, but it is well worth it. They have saved our pets lives! All around terrible customer service, except for the receptionist. Waited for 3 hours. 2 of which were spent in the exam room, after they took my cat back. Could only hear the staff talk and laugh about whatever. They did not examine him, did not tell us what was going on. We had to go ask what was taking forever, when we learned it would be 4 hour wait due to a critical. I asked them for my cat back and left. If I could give 0 stars, I would. This place needs better management or something.

I recently went to 24/7 Pet Vets to help my mother with her sick 7 year old German shepard. From beginning to end despite the wait time which we understood due to it being an emergency hospital the staff and Doctors were amazing. From Samantha who was gentle with my mothers dog and let her know everything she was doing to her pet while still being able to answer my mothers questions was amazing, even with the long wait Samantha came back with water bottles for my mother and I and checked on us and kept us updated with what was going on, my mother was stressing less after every time she came to check on us. To the lovely lady doctor on staff thank you for all the work you do! My mothers dog has had a complete turn around and is back to his normal goofy self. Sarah and John were great. She was a critical condition so they worked fast but if it’s nothing too serious be prepared to wait a while. They have some serious cases coming in all the time and if ur baby isn’t in a bad state you’ll be there for a bit. They let me be with her in her last moments and gave us as much time as we needed with her. The prices are going to be high since it is an emergency hospital but they’re pretty good at trying to give you alternatives and help with finance.

This place is an absolute joke. All the reviews you read about their inadequate customer service are true. I was referred to this place because the vet ER I take my kiddos to was at capacity. I was already aware of 24/7’s reviews but gave them a call anyway as I had no other choice. I was put on hold for 20 minutes and it only lasted 20 minutes because I hung up. What’s even more embarrassing about this place is that their “on hold” messaging on the phone talks about how “when there’s a pet emergency, every minute matters.” Pathetic that they utilize that sort of messaging. I can only imagine what the rest of the experience is for this inadequate, joke of a vet ER. Do yourselves a favor, don’t waste your time or continue to give this awful place your business. Try the vet ER off of Herndon and Palm. They’re awesome unlike this place.

My dog Mac was in acute pain, lethargic, could not open his eyes and was shaking. I took him to the 24/7 PetVets in the middle of the night (Thursday morning). He was seen by Dr Barns. She treated Mac with an antibiotic injection and ointment. He seemed to be recovering on Friday. By Friday night his symptoms were back and actually worse. I returned to 24/7 PetVets early Saturday morning. He saw Dr Palikarov. His actions and advice, I believe, are why a week later Mac is recovering and his vision is improving. His advice was to have Mac seen immediately by specialist and the meds prescribed were confirmed by ophthamologist. The services provided were what Mac needed. The technicians were gentle and caring with Mac. I would take him there again should Mac need emergency services.

The staff is skilled and compassionate. But the cost of having your pet treated here will nearly bankrupt you. I dont think this issue is about 24/7 PetVets in particular. I think it is the accepted and immoral market for emergency animal care. Yes you can qualify for Care Credit in some cases, but if your credit is below average you will pay over 25% APR. So yes, they provide an excellent service. And the cost is unconscionable.

Had to go for an emergency for our familys cat (my dads baby) as he was in critical condition. They charged us $500 up front and that took care of everything they need to try to stabilize him. After waiting for around 30 minutes. I was called to the back, and the doctor gave me the bad news that he unfortunately did not make it. He explained what they did and how he reacted to the injections but it only lasted as far as he could hold on. They gave me some money back for not using the full $500. Gave me the option to take him home in a box they supplied so I can bury him. The doctor was really informative and compassionate. They lady in the front named Sarai, was also compassionate and even asked how my dad is handling the news. I appreciate their hard work, honesty, compassion, and dedication. I understand people may complain about waiting, but when an animal is in critical condition. That is their first priority.

Brought my dog here after being hit by a car. Obviously they treated it as an emergency (ahead of other patients), but they took their time with EVERYTHING! We arrived at 4pm and we are currently still waiting on them to release our dog (it’s currently 11:30pm!). One Dr. took x-rays, he left. The x-rays were of the wrong or “unnecessary” parts so the next Dr. wanted more x-rays. Keep in mind x-rays are billed as well. We waited for a room just to talk over/ review details of our dog’s situation and that took almost 2hours. So far we have been waiting an hour for them to lease our dog. Btw they don’t do surgery here so we have to take him to another place to get him fixed.Care-free staff. Long waits. No doctor-to-doctor communication. Unorganized. Will do their best to Bill you even when unnecessary.ONLY advantage- 24/7 (probably the only reason why they have a few stars).

They were not even going to tell me that the couldn’t find the drain that I told them dislodged into my dog. They were going to send me on my merry way. Then after another surgery at my primary vet, two more rounds of antibiotics and a culture and another surgery the drain was found. This place has the audacity to say that well your primary vet stated that the drain was hard to find and we feel that we did our due diligence by looking for it with FORCEPS (my dog is almost 80 pounds) that it wasn’t their fault that they couldn’t find it. Worst place ever. Worst experience ever. Do not go here!In response to the owners comment:You failed to mention in your “synopsis” of what happened that I was not told to bring my dog back to you, I was told to make an appointment with my primary vet. The whole reason the drain removal was attempted at home by an RN was because I had already spent upwards of 3,000 to fix my dog. Not to mention the fact that you x rayed the WRONG SIDE of my dog when looking for the drain and it was not read by a radiologist until I asked to see the results. Which by the way, the owner would not send to me after multiple requests.

If you want any percentage of your pet surviving go somewhere else. I brought my puppy here in the very early morning cuz my dog was bad. Sick and nothing esle is open at 3-4 am. I was looking for help and left feeling I left them $300 and zero empathy or hope and a go to your regular vet, its cheaper. I should have known my pup wasnt important enough to save or HELP when we were left in a waiting room for 2.5 hrs with no assistance to my pet. All I kept thinking is ever minute counts. Where are they? Why arent they giving him something. You know this dog is sick. You know the basics of what he needs and you are going to leave us here knowing ever minute that passes is life threatening. I was confused and upset but believe this place is here to help. Surely they are preping something and will help. But, Instead I got a diagnosis and $3000 estimate for 1 day of care. When I said I could not afford that the next question was, whats your budget? Budget? Confused I said budget? I could not believe they just asked me that. Thats what I walk with from this place...i should have been prepared with a budge. Of course. How stupid of me. Maybe I was ultra sensitive and emotional but my dog was sick. I needed wanted help for him. I do not believe my puppy receive genuine help, assistance or for that matter simpathy from a person, establishment who promises and took an outh to help another living breathing creature. They make you pay up front to make sure they get their money. They probably do this because they know you will NOT pay after receive very little, minimum help or assistance. Somewhere someone forgot why they go into veterinary medicine to being with. To give these precious pets a viable chance. To assure owners their pets lives matter. I do not feel they cared enough to sit me down and really discuss true doable options to allow me the chance to help my pet live. Instead I waiting and cut a check and my pup died. I had a sick pup. I dont blame them for that, but I can blame them for the lack of interest I felt I receive for his life. And just for the record. When I asked why I had to wait 2.5, i was told, our normal waiting time can be 6-8 hrs like I should have been grateful we only had to wait 2.5 hrs watching my pup suffer instead of 6 or 8! Mind you I was the only one in the office at the time. There were no other cases persons that I saw or heard in the office 2.5 hrs were were there. I could hear the dr.s talking about person stuff and an occassional chuckle from them. Would you think that they would have offered to at least give him fluids. They didnt even check him for dehydration. They confirmed he was sick with their $145 required test, gave him less than 25% chance of survive before they gave him a 75% chance of living. 1 star is 1 star toooooooo many. I would give them-100 stars if i could.

Tests were able to be finished around 0550. We were able to be discharged around 0630.It was an expensive and long night esp me being 8 mo pregnant, but their bed side manner makes up for it. Even their front desk staff member stayed 2hrs passed her shift to help keep things flowing.I do wish they had a better way of communicating updates, but I know they were running super behind. Like I didn’t realize there were people in the rooms before us because there were 3 people checking out when we arrived, so I was wondering what was going on. There were people that checked out from the rooms after those other people left that I didn’t even see upon arrival. Just goes to show how busy it was.

Amazing pet care at all hours! My cat was acting horribly lethargic and just sickly overall. He also started gagging and swallowing nothing for hours. I was really concerned, because hes normally super hyperactive, rambunctious, and a huge troublemaker. But a very cute troublemaker, much like a 3 year old toddler. His normal vet had closed for the evening and my other pets normal vet said they already had too many walk-ins for the night to take us. We were recommended to come here instead and they took such good care of my little buddy. Even after my horrible recitation of his symptoms, the doctor was pretty much able to accurately diagnose him after only touching his belly for a few seconds. Her diagnosis was confirmed after the results of his blood work and x-rays came in a couple hours later. They were able to give him medication and fluids, because he was severely dehydrated from the vomiting. They gave us medication, instructions for a special diet, and as soon as we got home, my cat was himself again. He was feeling so much livelier and I could tell he wasnt in as much pain anymore. Thank you so much for taking care of my Blonde at such a late hour! Thank you for the great service you provide and thank you to every veterinarian, nurse, radiologist, vet tech, receptionist, janitor, staff, etc. for coming into work during this crisis and for staying open into all odd hours of the night. We waited 8.5 hours to take our pet home and hope for the best. Luckily I was able to reach our regular vet who was able to get us in first thing Monday morning. The staff here is lovely. The wait and the cost are a nightmare. While waiting I saw many pet owners take their pet home in tears, without treatment after waiting for hours because they could not afford the exorbitant cost.

Called again after an hour, the receptionist said there was 4 people in front of me. After an hour? Really!? Still gave them the benefit of doubt and continued to wait. Finally got called in at 3. They told me my dog would be ready in 20 minutes & ready to go home. it was over an hour!! It is now 4:45 and still waiting!!!!!!

My Dog JP was hit and run over by a careless driver whom never stopped just drove off this evening ! I immediately looked up the nearest Vet emergency hospital and so When I called this hospital I conversed with a very friendly person whom I told I would be coming by soon to bring my JP in. Once I got there this hospital took full control and assisted my JP immediately, I then registered in at the front desk for which I again was greeted with extreme care, a warm welcoming smile and a concerned demeanor which made me feel safe. Once JP’s doctor looked over all X-rays I was brought in and thoroughly genuinely was given a thorough explanation of the seriousness of my JP. Unfortunately my JP could not be saved and they allowed me as much time as I needed before My JP was placed to sleep in eternal peace. My most heartfelt thank you to the entire staff for taking good care of my JP and doing what they could to care for him. I highly recommend anyone in an emergency situation with your animal baby to come to this hospital you will be immediately cared for and they will care for your animal baby as if it was theirs. I first took my German Shepherd to 24/7 because Dr. Ravi Dhaliwal was able to start him on chemo, for cancer. Unfortunately, my dog tried to bite the clinic staff, but they were patient and kind. The cancer spread. The doctors had to take tests to explain the problems, that the cancer was causing. If I waited long, I cut them slack for that, because other people were bringing in their fur babies for emergencies. Btw, it costs more here than other clinics in Fresno--but pet owners need to understand that emergency services, tests, drugs, critical care by vets etc. is VERY expensive. They were honest with me about my baby dying, and sent him home with painkillers, because I didnt want to put him to sleep then. I lost my fur baby two days later, and my heart is still shattered, but I thank the staff at 24/7 for helping me try everything I could to save him.

I know I rated only one star, and i know this is exactly what you dont want to see when you are in need of an emergency, but right when I had arrived, my dog and I sat in our cars till we were allowed to be in a room. They said wait would be at least an hour due to a large amount of emergencies with pets. Which I was completely fine with. While we waited my dog started to bark at completely nothing, I parked right by the door and did not see any pets come in or out or saw anyone at all! Her barking made me very suspicious, so I trusted her gut and mine to leave. Of course my original veterinarian wasnt available to I had no choice but go in again. So I did and was the only person seen, they made me wait for 1hr to see vet and then someone came in with a minor issue (door was open to the lobby) and my dog was still slightly barking but I calmed her. They tried taking advantage of me and our situation by almost charging me $800 for blood work and x-rays. Took another hour to be seen by the actual vet and slightly passive aggressively telling me to control what table scraps she receives. Of course I never have power of it because Im usually at work or school and my grandpa does as he pleases even after I tell him to stop. Anyways, the staff here were passive aggressive about what happend to my dog and how I couldnt handle the situation about table scraps and money. For a small time they asked me to step out so they could administer fluids and shots, confused as to why they didnt let me stay in like every vet office allows me to stay in, I hear her yelping and crying and suddenly nothing. She stops crying which worried me, because who knows how they handled her. A day after she did not seem herself and was afraid to be held by me or go to sleep, fortunately my vet was available the very next day and I was able to help her. Shes doing perfect now! Moral of all this: watch out for big money scams, passive workers, listen to your animals instinct if they seem even more weird to you. If I had done a walk in somewhere I would have saved money, now I got 2 vet Bills from 2 different places :) fun.

Excellent care & the people that work there really love animals & are very knowledgeable & professional. My only caveat is like all health professionals they tried to pad the bill. Took my cat Harley Quinn in as she was choking on a piece of dry cat food & going into shock. They put her on oxygen & wanted to keep her overnight for observation which would cost me between $2,500 to north of $3,000. Took her home with some medication to keep her relaxed & ended up with a bill of about $400.00.

I have probably had one decent experience when one of my dogs broke out in hives. But other than that, I dont have any good words for these people.I took my puppy in for his eye. Now, about this little guy, he found me at about a month old, not being able to walk and nothing but bones. I noticed his third eyelid started to protrude and wanted to do anything I could to keep it from getting worse. The fits emergency night I went there, the doctor couldnt even understand the situation. It was as if he was shy to be around me and didnt know how to answer my questions. Nothing was really done for my poor baby except told what it possibly could be.The next night his eye was worse and I rushed him back. This time the vet was a woman. She ignored every single thing I was telling her about him. And instead of focusing on his eye, she was focusing on how he was partially paralyzed. I told her his condition and that thats not whats worrying me at the moment. His eye was disappearing and a tumor was taking over. She didnt even seem concerned about that. He was prescribed eye ointment and a blood test was done. He was also prescribed so much medication I couldnt believe they would make a five month old puppy take all this. Then she talked about this special test that she wanted to do one him but it would require sending the sample to New York and it would cost god knows how much money. I was told I would receive a phone call in a couple days. Well, for one, he didnt have a couple days and two I never received a phone call. She was so damn cocky and thought she knew everything.Usually if a vet could not provide a service because they didnt understand the problem, they referred me to a vet that could. I had to end up putting my little guy to sleep days later.

24/7 pet vet Fresno Street location reviewI have been here before and had no problems but I won’t be going back. Took my dog here 5/4/2020. We checked in at about 7:15pm. In the waiting room there were other people and some sitting outside as well. I checked in and paid my $65.00. The receptionist kept saying I can’t have more than 3 people in here! Over and over because of covid. I told her my dog and I would wait in the car. She said if he had any other problems bring him in. There were two gals working the front desk. None of the exam rooms had patients in them. As we sat in the parking lot no one else entered taking their pets in. People did leave. Two hours later I went in to check and see where my dog was in line. The receptionist person was now the only one at the front desk the other was gone and didn’t come back and she couldn’t or wouldn’t give me an estimate on time. She pointed to paperwork laying on the shelf and said that he was 2nd up again exam rooms were unoccupied. I thanked her and went back. Another hour passed. Two people brought in their dogs. One had an allergic reaction (like my dog) and another had jumped out of someone’s arms and might have had a broken leg. The paperwork was untouched beside the front desk gal and my dog was STILL in 2nd. I asked the receptionist if I could get a refund because I had been there 3 hours and no one had an estimate of when my dog might be seen. (I knew also that the 3 pets that had just come in would all be seen ahead of mine understandably but what was happening during the 2.5 hours that I sat in my car and waited when no one had brought in any pets)? She gave me a dirty look and sarcastically said sure, sure, you can get a refund, I’ll give you a refund. I told her I would just take my dog to his vet in the morning. She gave me a dirty look again. I told her I couldn’t wait any longer as I had kids that needed to get to bed and my sitter needed to go. I went to get my receipt and card. When I came back she again said I can’t have more than 3 people in here. A guy with a cat that had been vomiting all day and panting came in. The receptionist went and got the cat and put it in an oxygen chamber. 20 minutes later and I got my refund. I told the lady at the counter to have a good night. When I left a senior lady with a walker that was there before me was STILL there. The people that brought their dog in w the possibly broken leg were already out 120.00 and they didn’t even know if it was broken yet. I told them be prepared to wait for any kind of update because I had been there for now over 3 hours. They were surprised. I never saw a vet or anyone other than the 2 ladies at the front desk. But when I had sat in my vehicle earlier I saw several techs go in and out and one even brought back two drink carriers full of Dutch bro’s in the employee entrance. I got home between 11 and 11:15. I looked at my banking online and they had already taken out their $65.00. It’s now Wednesday and still no refund yet. I might have to go down there again to chase down my money but I will no longer give my business to this place. My dog ended up being fine and was checked out by his vet the next day however I think about what if he had no more visible symptoms and he had died waiting in the car with me waiting to be seen?!

They helped carry him to and from the car and we were alerted as soon as he was done in surgery. I AM SO GRATEFUL for 24/7 Emergency Pet Vets!!!On 10/30/19, I took one of my dogs in after being reffered by a very good vet (Dr. Nadeem Akhtar). I wasnt very thrilled with any of the vets and Definitely NOT the emergency vet on Blackstone (NOT caring AT ALL-just want $$$).Anyway, I took my boy in because he was having A LOT of trouble breathing & had lost a lot of weight. We were brought back, and were seen by ☆♡☆Dr. EVE SHAW☆♡☆. I showed her photos of the Xrays and a bit of fluid that were already taken at the vet that recommended them. I could immediately see herGENUINE CARING, training, intelligence, and humanity kick in.I made sure to tell her what kind of experiences Ive had with the previous vets Ive gone to & that I had serious trust issues already. She genuinely apologized on behalf of them, and understood my trepidation, but said shed do her best to help him, because thats why shes there. She said the photos I showed her looked scary, and told me what she was thinking and what she and her team were going to do.Since Im in the (human) medical field, I wanted to be back there with my baby boy, but I didnt want my presence to make it worse for him. They already had him in the O2 kennel so he could get more oxygen becoause his body couldnt take in. They already gave him a sedative so they could take other xrays (from different angles) & then remove the fluid that was in his chest cavity. As I waited in the room, she had one of the other staff tell me how things were going. Afterwards, she brought the container so I could see how much fluid was taken & what it looked like. A sample of it was sent to the lab to confirm her suspicions of Chylothorax. She told me what it could lead to, and reassured theyd be there through it.A few days later, ♡Dr. Loweth♡ called me with the results of the thoracocentesis (fluid), and was also very knowledgable & CARING when we spoke.Bottom line: DR. SHAW & THE 24/7 TECHS SAVED MY DOGS LIFE!!! I have NO HESITATION to bring any of my fur-babies to them, if needed!I read the reviews of this place, and made an educated guess as to how much it might cost to get him quality care. They offer credit & insurance. Also give Veterans/Military discounts (every little bit helps).

She was reading off the list of medical services needed with cost like a robot. Our dog had under gone a tramatic injury, I did not feel comfortable leaving my dog there, it felt like we were just a transaction. I asked for a temporary pain relief for my dog until the next day. I was told the surgery needed to be done immediately if not his wounds would cause an infection and he would die. Next morning I called around and one vet did not perform the surgery needed, the other was 2 weeks out, and the other said it would be later in the week. It was hard for me to see my dog in such pain I went back and dropped my dog off at 9 am , I called at 430 -5 pm to see how the sugery went and they told me they had not done the surgery because they had other critical cases.I lost it, I was told the surgery had to be done asap or risk of death. I just wanted my dog to not be in pain and already be in the recovery stages. The vet who was a different one from the one from the night before said we could have waited a few days. We were also sold medication my dog did not need the night before. My dog eventually had the surgery and is recovering but dealing with this clinic was a nightmare.

We took our cat here when he had a urinary blockage. The care we received was excellent. Took one star off because some of the techs we interacted were rude and I think it is kind of messed up that they require so much money up front. I can understand asking for part of the payment upfront, but when your low estimate is over $1,000 it would be more compassionate in my opinion to have the pet owner pay half of the low estimate to start. Especially since most people are there for an emergency visit, which was not planned for. Overall, I would absolutely take any pet there again. They gave our cat excellent care and were very thorough in their treatment of his issue.

We brought our dog to 24/7 PetVets because they told us they could perform surgery that night to amputate our pups leg, hence the emergency rates, which we were willing to pay. Surgery was not performed that evening (we arrived at 8pm), despite our agreement; it was performed the following day after 10 am. The costs exceeded the high end of the estimate. Originally estimated at 3000 to amputate, we were charged a whopping total of 7000!! When we inquired at multiple stages along the journey we weve been unsuccessful. Unsuccessful in inquiring about all the procedures deemed neccessary; unsuccessful in questioning charges about the expenses above and beyond the cost agreement; unsuccessful in begging them to give us the medications our dog needed for postoperative care (their policy) when we could not find local pharmacies to fill them; and unsuccessful when reaching out to the office manager to discuss our experiences and resolve our concerns. Overall, a very traumatic situation was all that much worse due to poor quality of care for both our dog and my family. We were price gauged and taken advantage of at a time when we were vulnerable and had no choice. Against better judgement, we chose to trust them and I would take it back 100 times if I could. Save yourself and your beloveds the stress of an experience like ours! Go elsewhere!

I am so disappointed in this place. After witnessing a dog being hit by a truck on the way to work, I called and asked for help. They told me to bring the dog in, and they would do what they could. Once I got there, they wouldnt even look at the dog. They said it was too big. When I told them they should have told me that on the phone, she said they did. What???
