Always friendly, professional and Dr. Mark Johnson is the best. Takes the time to thoroughly explain and also answer any questions.

I have been seeing Dr. Johnson for years now. He is one of the most compassionate knowledgeable doctors I have known. Hes very busy but never seemed hurried and makes me feel that Im his only patient.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of staff and the doctor. Everyone was friendly while maintaining good social distancing. The doctor was intelligent and reassuring about my eye condition, and very thorough with his examination of my eyes. I highly recommend the RGW.

My regular optometrist found a suspicious area of possible bleeding near my optic nerve during a routine exam. RGW gave me an appointment the next day. The evaluation was extensive, professional and thorough by all personnel involved in my care. I was very impressed and appreciative. A follow up plan and possible treatment options was discussed and scheduled . Dr Huang and all the support personnel were great.

The doctor and all of the techs. were very considerate and professional. The waiting room and treatment rooms were clean and the equipment was sanitized before each patients use. Recommend highly.

Evan though we moved several years ago to another state and they had merged with another group and moved to another address within the same city. We were able to locate the group quite easily. We were treated with extreme professional care and also found they offered a sincere personal feeling of warmth by remembering us after such a long absense. Not sure about the mixed reviews here. I had an all positive experience. From the first time I called, to the check out, it was pleasant and very quick. They got me right in within 1.5hrs with an eye emergency. I got there a little early and they still saw me early! That never hapoens antwhere but it did here! I barely had time to sit down! Another patient commented the same.Very professional and most of the staff were compassionate. Dr. Huang was great. Explained my condition and even showed me the pictures of the inside of my eye and what they found. He explained the most common prognosis for this condition and let me know what to look for just in case of complications. The only negative things is the super cheap glasses to wear after having eyes dilated(rolled up peices of plastic with nothing to go over the ears to hold them on) and this initial visit was expensive. $300 when paying out of pocket(if no insurance). I would think if a person paid cash, they would give a decreased fee. Otherwise, it was the best medical experience Ive ever had. No joke.

Everyone is very nice at the Fredericksburg location. I only wish the wait was shorter. Ive been going there for about 8 months and my appointment usely last over two hours.

All personnel at the office are first rate. They lose a star because of the long wait time ... every time.

I was referred by my ophthalmologist for a potentially serious issue and was seen promptly on an unscheduled basis. When I returned for a follow up visit, I arrived slightly early but waited 1/2 hour to be seen for preliminaries and dilation by back office staff, then was left to wait for Dr. Lee. At 1 and 1/4 hours past my scheduled appointment time, I left the office without being seen, telling the front office staff I was leaving. I received no apology, just questioned if I wanted to reschedule . I deferred because I was angry and didnt want to have an interaction in front of a crowded waiting room. I traveled an hour each way for the appointment, and had arranged my work day and puppy care around it. The least they could have done was tell me I would be waiting that long, but I received no feedback at all as I waited. On my travel home, after more than 45 minutes, I had received no call from the office, so called them and let them have it pretty good. I told them I wanted a referral to a specialist in my home area. They called me back after closing hours with that referral. On my first visit to Dr. Lee, I found him to have a good manner and knowledge base. The practice, however, is clearly in need of customer service training.

This group of experienced professionals is simply awesome. They must love their work because it shows in how they take care of their patients each and every visit. Thank you Dr. Lee, Dena, Amanda, Brian, Heather, Megan, Stephanie, Diane, Jessica, Asma and Kelly. You always make my visits more like seeing friends than coming to the doctor.

Dr. Mark Johnson is a knowledgeable and caring retinologist. He is up-to-date on the latest treatments and never makes me feel rushed. I drive over an hour each way to see him. Also the staff is very friendly at the Fredericksburg office. I think you wont be disappointed.

Be prepared to sit and wait for a ridiculous amount of time. Every time I come they are running late and don’t even tell you that they are running late. They will also cancel appointment times on you last minute. Don’t go there. Ask your optometrist for another recommendation.

I have never been seen less than an hour and a half past my appointment time. The doctors are over scheduled, and there is a complete lack of concern for patient schedules. Whether you have an early appointment or late, you should expect a long wait, and will only see the doctor for 10 minutes or less.

Please don’t lite to people,you are not open 24 houres.
